Don't recall the color of the van. I can check when I'm back in Tijuana later this week. But the vans are tough to miss. Once you get through Mexican customs and go through the outside turnstile into Tijuana, make a left and the 10 peso vans will be right there waiting to fill up their seats. Just confirm with the driver that the van is going near Avenida Revolucion. The entirety of Avenida Revolucion is Zona Centro, even the portion that's near Zona Norte. The van drops you off like a block from Revolucion and you can walk from there up to Revolucion and then down to Zona Norte. I've done this a few times during the day when I don't have luggage. Forget the best stop to get off at but it's definitely the most economical way to get to Zona Norte.

Ok I know what your talking about I think it's the green and tan vans then. I will try it in June when I finally move to San Diego. I only took the red vans that go down to the grand hotel from the Carls Jr but I'll start taking the 10 peso van outside the gate since I will be going more often when I move there.

BTW if you want to avoid the border line come back at 3-5 am. The line starts earlier on weekdays. I have not done this in over a year so hope the info still accurate.

Yes people use to take advtange but the police enforce it. The police kicked a bunch of people around us out of the line. They knew who paid and the polce just walked past us.

I am offering the info up here. Take it for what you will. If you pay the police are cool with it. If you do not pay expect to be kicked out by the police. Have been told people were arrested for not paying and that is why non-payers stopped.

I fell for it once because I didn't know the details. Guy comes up to me last year offering to have me bypass everyone in front of me and get me through the line much quicker for $20. I countered with $10 and he quickly accepted. I'm thinking he's going to put me in a van or something like that so I can get through quicker but he simply escorts me to the near the front of the line and then walked away. I mean I guess it worked as far as me getting to the front of the line but all he was was some random guy and we were cutting the line without any approval. Felt bad about it afterwards and haven't done it again, though I guess it worked. But it's not something that's allowed and you could in theory get sent to the back of the line or perhaps even arrested for it.

There has been some discussions about the service of paying to get to the front of the Border Line when crossing back into the USA in Tijuana.

First I do want to point out there were people taking advantage of this, not paying, and going to the front. I know there are a lot of harsh opinions against this not only here in the forums but also in line. Sometimes we go into one of the buildings and pay and it looks some what official on a Tijuana level. I have seen as many as 9 locals (latinos) and 2 other Americans (one assisting another who had bandages on eye from recent surgery). They stay in the building until someone can escort them to the front and point them out to officers. It is how the officers know who is legit and who is cutting. Sometimes the building is closed and a guy on the street is paid. The guy who gets paid contacts and escort and the escort takes them to the front of the line. I get how it looks all shady like.

So my wingman and I were paying the $20 and going to the front. When my wingman and I went to the front we were the only people going with the escort but there were a lot of people there and more came quickly after. Someone complained and the Polocia came and started kicking people out of the line. They knew who paid and did not pay. The 5 people directly in front of us were told to leave. The Policia walked right by us and told people directly after us to leave. I been told people have actually been arrested before because they are interfering with an official government program but I have not actually seen anyone arrested. I have seen a lady who communicated with the guy who took our money go all the way up to the front where Border Patrol and Policia were talking. The lady said something to the people there. Can assume she was communicating about the service but I was not close enough to hear the words.

Have seen more than one person on this forum seem to get in their feelings about this. Have seen multiple in line complain about this. I do know at one time people who did not pay were taking advantage but that does seem to have stopped. Part of me did not want to say all this because of all the feelings that came up before. I come to the internet forums to share information and have fun. Drama is not why I come here. Part of me does not want competition doing this. Honestly one way or another the last time may be it for me. The morning action has not been as good the last 3 times as it use to be. I may go back to leaving early in the morning when there is a small line.

I applied to the Sentri program and been waiting forever but based on my last call to the office I will probably have Sentri either my next trip or the one after so I am about ready to stop using this anyways. Was about to get into argument with someone in the line last time but based on what I have seen I know it is legit and in my experience not going to convince anyone of anything in most situations like that.

Right, that's always been my issue with my (Sprint) service right after I cross the border. Always lose my connection so can't get an Uber. I think it's been explained on these boards before why that happens. Something about the cell tower switches once you cross the border (didn't completely understand the explanation). So I pretty much always get a taxi or if I have no luggage and it's early enough in the day I take the 10 peso van from the border to the Revolucion area and walk a couple blocks over to Zona Norte. If you're going straight to Hong Kong / Cascadas you can also just take the free limo from the border (though you're expected to tip a little bit).

My connection of course usually works fine once I'm further inside Mexico. I've been finding on my more recent trips that Didi is usually cheaper than Uber and works just as well so I've been using that more often.

If you rent a room in hotel Cascada, you can bring as many Hong Kong girls and street girls to your room and stay as long as you want, no limit. On weekends, single rooms are $80.

If you rent the room as you go, a 30-min ST session with HK girl will cost $30, including a beer each for you and the chica. A ST session with street girls will cost $7 for allegedly 20 minutes. If the hotel is not busy, room attendants don't strictly enforce the time limits.

Its been years since I used Hong Kong been using independents. So it went from 20 min session hotel for $21 to 30 min session for $30 and two beers? Is there an option for no beers and cheaper price if your not drinking that day or is this their new deal?

People are always going to try and make money from getting people past the line quicker. I remember before they were using the old bikes to get people to the front and you giving it to another guy once across. They have the buses that you pay to just sit and go they the border. Those that use it everyday get frustrated and I imagine it's more when it's foreigners that have more money and think they are special. I think it's just how you go about it. We do many of the same things in the US. Disneyland moves you to the front if you pay for a VIP package. Also her in California it seems most freeways are adding pay lanes so those that want to pay money not to sit in traffic can.

I just made an issue about the border before because people talked about different workers in the zona trying to make extra money and then getting mad but when it works in their favor like paying a guy to move them up in the line they think that's ok. It's all the same just let people make money.

As of this week, I found out Rizzo is charging the same prices as Cascada, $30 for 30 min with 2 drinks in ST rooms. Rates and rules in Tijuana change often.

Rizzo will not rent ST rooms for street girls, who would not walk that far anyway. Cascada still charges $7 for 20-30 minutes with street girls, a very good deal.

If you rent all night rooms in Cascada or Rizzo, you can bring up as many girls a night as you want, no limits. A few independent escorts would go to Cascada and Rizzo. Many escorts may have worked in HK so they are familiar. Just ask them.

Hi all,

Planning my first trip to Tijuana and have a hotel questions.

1. Can HK girls only do ST at Hotel Cascadas? Or if you are staying at another nearby hotel like Rizo, can you do short time with them there?

2. Same thing with Adelita / Chicago girls, do they only go to their associated hotels, or can you bring them to your hotel you are staying.

3. Any hotel central to all these places where you can bring girls from all the club's.

Reason I am asking is it would make economic sense to stay at one of these hotels overnight Instead of paying the 30 min rate each time.

Cascadas and Rizo de Oro are the same company, so you can take girls from Tropical + HK to either place if you're staying there, but there's some incidental costs and tipping. Read through the Tropical bar reports, because there were some reports of Meseros pulling some shit with longer sessions in people's own overnight rooms. I don't recall exactly if the report involved an HK girl at the Rizo, or a Tropical girl at the Rizo.

The other clubs will try to charge you some kind of premium to take a girl out of their club and take them to your overnight room at Cascadas for a session during their shift. With them it's easier to try and figure out something after their shift.

I've posted this elsewhere, but if this is your first trip to the Zona, a room at Cascadas + HK and the alley is your best bet. Go to the other clubs and do your thing there, but keep Cascadas and HK as your home base, get a feel for things, and then use that to plan your next trip.
