The CBP website https://bwt.cbp.gov/details/09250401/PED still shows a Ready Lane section and associated wait time which is much less than the General Lane (the other tab on the same web).

That's wonderful; have you walked across lately? I crossed last Thursday; ready lane does not exist. If you want to cross in a timely manner, get GE or Sentri.

That's a great find. I too have been concerned with the long wait times crossing back into the US. There is a lot of talk on other boards about Global entry, sentri, ect. But what you've found here there is no need for that. Hell I can use my State DL to use the ready lane.

Getting ready for the next trip to Tijuana, but getting intimidated by the border wait times (showing 2:15 hrs wait at 4:48 pm today). https://bwt.cbp.gov/details/09250401/PED Note this has 2 tabs (General and Ready).

While checking the CBP web site, I found the following link https://www.cbp.gov/travel/clearing-cbp/ready-lanes where it states if you have a passport card, you can use Ready Lanes. Can someone verify if that is valid and there are Ready Lanes for pedestrians that can be used by passport card holders on PedEast?

Verified. Passport cards can be use for ready lanes. It used to shave about half off of the general lanes.

Rental agencies are not scared of having low inventories of cars. Too much vehicle stock could be a much bigger problem.

Low inventories will initially turn into sky-high rental rates if demand bounces back strong.
