I'll be heading down south tonight. Can anyone recommend a place to park overnight on the San Ysidro side that would be safe and not too expensive?

Weekends are expensive anyway you look at it. There is one cheap lot next to the Burger King almost at the last trolley stop that charges $6. 99. Good Luck finding a spot there. Otherwise there is Border Station Parking which is just to the right as you exit off the 5 freeway $25 until 10 am the next day. Over 10 am and you pay another $25.

That's how it goes on the weekends.

Or you can chance your car at a trolley parking lot close to the border and take the trolley the rest of the way in. Overnight parking is allowed for 24 hrs FREE but nobody is there to watch your car.

The victim hung from a chain with his hands and feet tied when he was found on Wednesday, said Jose Manuel Yepiz, spokesman of the Baja California state prosecutor's office.

A threatening message was left on the body. It is the second time this year that someone is hanged from a bridge in Tijuana.

Such gruesome scenes were more common between 2006 and 2009, when the city endured a turf war between the Arellano Felix crime family and the Sinaloa drug cartel.

Homicides are on the rise again in the Pacific coast city, with more than 700 murders so far this year, compared to 670 in 2015, according to official figures.

The violence is now attributed to battles between the Sinaloa gang and the Jalisco New Generation drug cartel.

The locals were complaining about lately violence not many visitors the alley was slow I came out from AB about 1:30 am for tacos at the corner by Hk and went to oxxo everything very calm and quiet not a good sign. Also about a month ago there was a shoot out between the police and two guys with Assault rifles and later 2 dead cops and the guys were atrested later. This happened righ on Revolucion same corner where the big taco stand is located about 50 feet from Hk club.

Looks like the feminists, fundamentalists, religious right, conservatives, liberals, gays and lesbians, Black Lives Matter, NAACP, KKK etc. Have been going strong, pushing their agendas for decades.

Meanwhile the masculinity and most average Joes in the US have been too busy dating Ms. Rosey Palm.

It's a lot more complicated than that. While I definitely believe in legalization of things like marijuana (I don't smoke) and online poker (I play a lot), this isn't as simple as you make out. If women's voices had as much power in politics as you seem to think, we wouldn't have so many states restricting abortion rights, a notorious feminist issue. While I would say I definitely lean toward legalization of prostitution in the United States, it's not a cut and dry issue. I do wish, like you do I'm sure, that there was a dialog on this issue, and that those who believe it should be legalized weren't demonized as perverted sickos, they way they seem to be now.

As for voting Republican as a path to legalization, especially on the national level, I think you're dreaming there. The religious right has way too much power for it to happen. Even liberals, who tend to be pretty feminist are against it. The only real voting block that is likely to support it are libertarians.

I can't decide if I should take my good phone vs my cheap phone. My plan works only with my good phone I can call text from to Tijuana using the international data plan. Now the cheap phone is not activated it only works with WhatsApp app where internet is available. So I need to have internet if I want to call or text a girl from my Tijuana hotel room. Anyway do you guys feel comfortable taking your nice mobile phone or it's not a good idea?

I have insurance but I don't think it covers lost or stolen I can't remember if it covers international either.

I've never had any problem bringing my cell to Tijuana. I try to wear pants with secure pockets, especially the one with big side pockets, which helps prevent my belongings being in between me and chicas' ass.
