Maybe so, but Cabo and Cancun have 100 times more American tourists than Tijuana. I am out and about in Tijuana and vicinity every day. I am being generous when I say that 1% of the people I see are tourists. And that includes the beaches.

Tijuana has a population of 1.3 million residents that host 300,000 touring visitors arriving into Tijuana every day.

Tijuana alone is the most visited city in the Western Hemisphere, second only to New York City. 50,000,000 people visit the city each year.

Babe, likely more than 10% (or even 20%) of the people you see in Tijuana are actually tourists, not 1%.

Hit up a lot clubs Tuesday night, all of them except HK, and Adelitas. What I can definitely say, as a 2 day a week regular, tropical is absorbing both the woman and men. For example my usual routine, is to hit up other clubs, bounce around. I can't speak for either HK, or Adelitas, but the other clubs are much deader since the tropical 3rd floor expansion. At this point, guys here on limited time, for weekdays, its painful to say because I prefer small clubs, but HK, and tropical is where you need to be, and maybe Adelitas but idk I stay away.

Correct. Piri Pharmacy (across the pedestrian walk walk from the wax museum) has never required a prescription for generic Viagra.

They have a wide selection and the best prices on generic Viagra brands like Maxifort and Figral.

Viagra is OTC in Mexico. One can get it from any pharmacy absent a prescription. My experience is that prices are are competitive at almost every location because of the stiff competition. The guy at Piri speaks English and the pharmacists are professional. But Piri is a little far to walk and unless one is loading up a supply load. If one is buying one package of about 10 pills, just pick a clean pharmacy and buy it from them.

I usually go to Tijuana around 4 and lately I'm not seeing long lines to go back to USA at 4 pm. Anything under an hour and a half should be considered a short line. And yes at 8 it is much decreased. Overall it is getting much. Better the last month. I paid for the global pass, a very painful 100 bucks that I put off for 5 years till the aggravation got to me. Some days I leave Tijuana to go to outlets now just to use the dam pass because I'm afraid when I leave San Diego I may never return to Mexico or California and use it again.

If crossing between a Mon and Thurs I would take the risk that an 8 pm crossing would be much smoother than a 4 pm rush to get somewhere hour. Usually around 8 pm on those days there isn't much movement. The problem is if Ped West (the other entrance / exit) is closed then Ped East gets 100% of the traffic. Still I would bet on 8 pm being the golden hour to cross at Ped East.

The speakeasies never close. I could hear their music booming all night until the morning. I have gone to HK a few times at noon, there were 20-30 girls, not the hottest ones to my taste.

Weekdays 4 PM there would be few pedestrians going back to the US. Sound7 posted something about CBP doing extra screening over the weekend. Last Saturday 11 PM the pedestrian line was unusually long, way past the foot bridge, something I have not seen in a couple years. It took the wingman about 45 minutes to cross on foot.

Budget 45 minutes to cross and you will be plenty safe.

As for crossing, if you don't have SENTRI / Global Entry you may be in for a wait. I don't know how bad it is at 4 pm on a Thursday but it's probably not too bad. But I've heard of multi-hour waits. CBP does have an app for estimating the wait time, but it is notoriously unreliable.
