I recall reading numerous posts from guys who said to CBP they were visiting their girlfriends in Tijuana. That illicited follow-up questions from the CBP agents.

I have also been asked "What was her name?" when I told the agent I was coming from Hong Kong. Regardless, I think we can ease up on Jackie888 [Deleted by Admin]. Even if it's a perfectly plausible situation. A broken clock is right twice a day.

Fun fact to add to the already overwhelming evidence to support this opinion: he just recently posted that he's an attorney but always talking about he has such a tight budget going to Tijuana. I think it's common knowledge that lawyers get paid well enough to be able to splurge on some mongering in Teejay.

I've been asked that a few times. If they think you crossed with someone but then split in line, then expect it. You talk to random in line, but CBP dude thinks you're friends and hiding your affiliation with the other person.

Also, they really don't give a fuck about some of what they ask. They're looking for signs of deception or unnatural nervousness. Both are easy tells for an agent to pick up on shady people. Watch a couple dozen episodes of Border Patrol agents on Netflix and its the commonality you will start to see. They ask simple open ended questions and your answers are pieces of a puzzle. If two pieces don't fit, something is going on or you're being dishonest and the agents job is spot a threat.

I do not see the problem at the border with questioning. I have been asked about airlines in an attempt to throw me off but most have been friendly or indifferent.

Going to Mexico they usually fill out the card for me. One did ask what I was doing in Tijuana for five days. I replied" are you kidding me, the beer, the food, the weather", she smiled.

GNR is correct. Be very careful what's on your phone. Leave the nudes at home, Canadians who indulge are warned not to have pics of cannabis or plants and to pay for purchases with debit or cash as visa / mc info can be routed thru USA You know the old saying "just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you".

Here's another fact. Border patrol can take your cell phone and if you don't give them the password they can send it to the computer guys to crack the code. It's on the ACLU website.

I cross about a hundred times a year, for the past few years, and ONCE the BP agent asked me the names of who I was with. It was fairly recently, like a month or two ago. So it is true that they ask that question, but rarely. And BP does have the right to review the contents of your cell phone. They've asked to review mine once. However, if you don't give them the passcode, they DON'T have computer guys that can crack the code. Not even the FBI can crack passcodes, at least as far as iPhones are concerned. Remember the San Bernardino terrorist Syed Farook? Well, the FBI couldn't unlock his iPhone 5 C so they had to get a court order for Apple engineers to unlock the device. Best way to counter them having access to your cell phone is to have a second, decoy phone full of innocent content. Keep your real phone out of view and the decoy phone out in the open. If the BP agent asks to see your phone, hand them the decoy.

Made my return to zona, Friday was certainly quieter than a Friday in the summer or fall. Some of the same street girls. Couldn't find one of my reliable ones, same for HK, Adelitas, Chicago, so spent three hours 40 dollars on tips, drinks, plus my beer and taco money. It's tough to invest the money and time to find reliable chicks when you are on small budget. Saw a lot machine guns again these guys have their finger on it near the trigger. You can have lap dances with HK girls and don't have to take them upstairs. But HK lap dances are kind of expensive, $21 for 3 songs, in the tiny cubicles inside Miami.

You can buy the chicas a $9 ficha in the club and get the same 15-20 minute lap dance in public. Take the girls to the couches on 2nd and 3rd floor where there is some privacy and not too many guy gawking hehe.

Stayed on the 3rd floor; you can hear music all night long and feel the bass, so may not be suitable for the light sleepers.

Service fee for the ATM inside Cascadas is 109 pesos with 5000 pesos withdrawals limit.

Last week using my HSBC card, I withdrew 4000 pesos. Was charged 63.80 peso at the ATM and $1.50 on my home account.

At this ATM you have the option of withdrawing peso or US $.

HSBC has a ATM located by 2nd & Revolucion st that gives out dollars They are fairly reasonable. There is also another bank located across the street that has reasonable ATM fees. The only caveat is that HSBC ATM is booth is closed after 5 or 6 pm I believe.

Restroom tip.

If you are walking in the Zona Adelita's is a good place to use the bathroom. I usually give the restroom attendant a quarter or 50 cents and they are always grateful and never complain.

HSCB has a 24-hour ATM located inside the Farmacia Roma on Constitucion and 5 ta. I agree that AB is one of the best places to use the bathroom, but not the main bathroom. That is one of the worst places. Because the attendant literally shoves a cigar tip box in your face after handing you a paper towel. The little bathroom inside the VIP is better because no attendant to bother you.

You can get pesos from the ATMs inside Cascadas for a $5 service fee and no exchange fee, but no USD. I do have to qualify this by saying that my last experience with the ATMs in Cascadas was about a year ago, so things might have changed
