Thanks for the info. It seems like all you need to do is say I am visiting friends. And coming back leave real early like 1:30 or 2 am. To avoid the crazy line. Would that also work on Sunday night? Meaning Monday morning, LOL.

I wouldn't want to miss my plane. There should be a faster way to get a global entry pass or sentri pass than waiting 4 months.

Give yourself and extra 1 1/2 minimum if you have a flight. You never know what the situation can be. Personally I would start the process at 12 am then kill any extra time chilling out in McDonalds having a coffee or something to eat.

I was not in Manhatten in 1961 but I would not doubt that it may have been a better environment than it was in 1976. However, from what I'm seeing today 2021 NYC is by far a greater failed state than 1976 NYC.

Back in the 70's and I would say early 80's Manhatten was a very dangerous place at nights. Robbery at knife or gun point was common. I was around 18 when I first visited Times Square and its environs and frankly I was never scared. I walked all over Manhatten at nights. I always walked the populous streets. Any street that looked dark and deserted was avoided, those were the dangerous ones. There were guys who would look at you menacingly on 42nd st. , Broadway, Times Square, for example, but they could not do anything, too many people around. After midnight one further restricted ones treks.

I definitely and vividly remember that place opposite Show World. It opened I believe around 1979, at least that's when I started to notice it. I was tempted on many occasions to go inside after cumming out of Show World but never did. As a matter of fact I think I did once and think I saw a contraption on display there on which you can have sex in many different positions. I did not explore further. Actually I worked as a male dancer at Show Palace which was the male revue across the street from Showorld. Robyn would come into the dressing room to say Hello,. It was pretty cool to say you worked in a legendary sleaze establishment. I worked at a few other scandalous "revues" in the area then around 1993 - 97 is when things started to close down and Disney stepped in.

I tell people about the peep shows with rooms behind the screen and its hard to believe. This is legit but it does not feel legit. Last time I did this the policia kicked the people out of the line before us and after us but left us in the handicap line. They like the people who pay and kick out the people who are just cutting. Actually had someone in the regular line try to "snitch" on us. The policia looked at us but said nothing. They know who pays and who does not pay. Honestly money paid here is just a stupid tax for not having the Sentri.

Where do you get the $7 shuttle from? One would think they would check for visas if you did this as well?

It is good for up to 180 days multiple entries but make sure they give you full 180 days up front (or input when filling the form on-line yourself).

I filled one out on-line this last visit over LDW and think it saved me some time. I still had to wait for a border agent to inspect it and validate my receipt printed which I made sure I brought. A groups of 10 guys ahead of me without visas had to first be processed. I waited 15-20 min for the initial but got it stamped and signed and my 2 follow on visits over LDW flow I breezed right thru.
