Posts: 159Rizo de Oro $20 special Manana por dia de Independencia!
This seems like a bargain. I emailed them, and they confirmed in an hour. I asked if additional fees for bringing chicas NOT from Tropical, they replied can bring guests from anyplace, no extra charge! Bueno! I am in Rosarito living there for a month, this seems like a great deal. Will report.

I was planning to go to Tijuana tomorrow. My wingman leaves a voice mail that says that tomorrow is some kind of Mexican Independence Day and things may be a little different. He wonders if it's going to be safe and if we should change our plans. Any tips?

Posts: 382FYI: San Ysidro Port of Entry Closed 9/14/11 due to roof collapse
If you were planning a midweek trip to Tijuana, be advised that the San Ysidro port of entry. Both pedestrians and cars. Is currently closed (and according to the mayor's office may be closed for up to 12 more hours). You can get into Mexico, but to get out you'll need to go to the Otay crossing for now.
The canopy protecting people from the overhead construction collapsed and the POE has been closed since about 10:45am this morning. A 50 ft x 50 ft section collapsed that went from car lane 8 into the pedestrian processing area. 15 cars were damaged and 11 people went to the hospital. CBP has no official ETA on when it will reopen. You can check the status at CBP's website (http://apps.cbp.gov/bwt/).

another ex-fave refused to eat at sanborn's. she, too, claimed the food was tasteless. i can't speak for ricardo's fish, but her spinach omelette looked pretty good, and my chilaquiles en mole were excellent. the coffee was pretty decent, too.

Posts: 3196Checked into Ticuan around 3:30 on Saturday. (Note to self: Idiot, doble means two beds, NOT two people). Amy showed up about 10 minutes later.
First time to see her outside of the club. Actually, the first time we met was in the club, and we didn't go arriba. But we hit it off, and she was happy to meet outside of working hours. Actually, Saturday was working hours, but she opted to take the day off.
Now, in natural light, her complexion wasn't as nice as it looked in the club, and she was a big chubbier than her evening gown style of club wear indicated. But, no complaints. Her smile and bubbly personality more than made up for it.
After unpacking, we opted for a movie and early dinner. I let her make all the decisions. So we cabbed over to Plaza Rio. While walking she opted for Califonia Buffet. Now I do NOT recommend this joint to anybody. At least the buffet. Except for the guy making fresh quesadillas, the food was incredibly average, and cold. To make matters worse, the bill came to a shocking 400 pesos for two. She was surprised and asked the cashier. We were told that the normal 100 peso price was weekdays only. Arrgh. Live and learn.
We opted for the VIP, and had to hang around for a couple of hours. Of course, when I went to buy the tix, the damn thing was in 3D. I hate 3D. But, I like the VIP, Hadn't been in before. Very comfortable.
We cabbed back to the hotel so I could change. But, during changing, one thing led to another, and we wound up en cama. Nice B-cups, luscious nips. I won't bore everybody with the details, but I opted to wait until later. Biiig mistake, but I didn't know it at the time.
After plenty of pillow talk, joking, etc, etc, we decided to go clubbing. So, back on go the clothes. She had the foresight to bring one of those neat-o stretchy dresses that just cover the ass, and some nice high heels. You got to love the way the Mexican chicas dress up to party.
Well, the old days are gone. Back in the day, Revu was packed with rowdy gringos partying until 4:00am. Then the recession and drug violence occurred, and it was a ghost town. Dark, gloomy and deserted. Now it's packed with locals all partying until 5:00am. Which I think is a great thing.
So, she likes the clubs up and down Calle 6. Off we go. First stop, Circo. 50 peso cover, but you get 1 beer. 3 floors of nothing but kids and ultra-loud techno. It's about 11 and it's packed. Awfully young crowd. She calls it the "Baby Bar." After 2 cervezas we blow the joint.
Next stop, La Ferreteria. Much better atmosphere, better music. Mix of American and Spanish stuff. But it was nuts to butts. So effing crowded that we tried to get a drink 3 times and couldn't. So, after about 30 minutes we split. But, it's a fun place and I recommend it.
Next stop, La Soltana, across the street. Now if I thought La Ferreteria was crowded, well, I ain't seen nuthin. Sardines have more room. I gues because I'm an older, distinguished gentleman, squiring a 20-something, (LOL) a kindly waiter nabbed us and told us to wait. After what seemed like about 10 minutes he came back and found us. He'd found a spot clear in the back with a table along some banquettes. Just enough room for us to sit and get a cubeta. 6 Coronas for 150 pesos, I think. Mas o menos. 100% Mexican tunes, loud volume, and all the chicas are gettin' down! Standing on the banquettes, grabbing the walls and shaking their asses for all they were worth. Now, despite my advanced age, I can still get down with the best of 'them, so I had a great time, as did my Senorita. Did I mention this place was hot? I mean temperature-wise. Steaming. Sauna. Everybody had sweat pouring off of them. They finally turned the a / see on, and it became slightly more bearable. But by the time we were finished, we were literally drenched in sweat. After the beers were finished, that's when the trouble started. She orders what sounds to me like a coke. It looked like a coke, but tasted funny. And I thought 70 pesos was kinda steep for a coke. But I was too busy, and it was so loud I just let it go. I found out later that it was vodka and coke. Had I known that, I think I would have had her slow down a bit. So far, that's 5 beers and a vodka.
Next, at about 2:30, we stagger out of Soltana and make our way back to Revu. We duck into a little joint called San Diablo, where I take a leak and she orders something I don't catch. I just ask for lo mismo. The drinks come, and it's mostly cranberry juice. WTF? 70 pesos each? And I think I got shortchanged with the coins in the tray ruse. No biggie. But the place then closes down at 3, so we have to drink up and hit the street.
On the street, she's walking rather unsteadily. I thought it was her shoes. Then I find out that the last two drinks were vodkas. On top of 5 beers. In about 4 hours, give or take. My lady is shitfaced. Oh-oh!
We walk back up Revu, get a hot dog to go. I ask her to sit on the bench for a minute and get some air, but she tells me she does not want to vomit in public. Shades of my long night of drinking with Maythe years ago, where she ralphed all over the floor of our room at the Nelson. So, up to the room where she undresses and crawls into bed. Despite my best efforts, sexo was definitely off the menu that night. Damn! Next time, screw before party. I guess it could have been worse. She could have agreed, and then puked all over me. That would be a real buzzkill.
I crawled off to my own bed (I will never make that stupid mistake again) and fell sound asleep. In the morning, a crawled in next to her and dozed off and on until the phone rang. WTF? 12:45 already? No, I don't want to pay for another night. Yes, we'll be down right away.
We shower, pack, dress. I give her the remainder of my pesos. 1,900. She doesn't even count it, just puts it into her purse. I check out and we stroll over to Ricardo's for a nice breakfast. Much better than Sanborn's, IMHO. Then we strolled up and down Revu, stopped into some joint near the stage on Primero and had soemthing to drink. Then, about 2:30, I walked her to the proper Economico stand for her trip home. Then I hoofed it to the border. The line was pretty short at 3:00 on a Sunday, about 30 minutes was my guess. But I now have my SENTRI, and I was through in no time. Cool.
We exchanged a couple of text messages that evening and the next day. We'll probably give it another shot the next time I can get down to Tijuana.
So, it was a mixed bag. Lots of fun with a sweet, good personality chica who enjoys hand holding and cuddling. Not a lot in the way of sexo, but that's partially my own fault. I will say that this is only the second time, ever, that I got a BG so drunk she couldn't screw. Maybe she hasn't been doing this as long as I thought.
But I'm really happy to see that Revu is now what it once was. A great party hangout. Maybe no longer gringo-centric, but still a great deal of fun. A good time was had by all, and I can't wait to do it again.

It will confuse her, you will become unique (not like all her other FWB's) , and make her want you even more. Women want strong men. I'm glad somebody else said it.

I left off it was Friday night and after an early evening of not drinking I was able to convince my ATF to spend the night with me. When I woke up Saturday morning I took my phone into the bathroom to study the translation that Cobrotha was nice enough to provide for " Can we meet later". However before I could get the words out of my mouth she hits me with " Honey no Trabajo today what do you want to do? I was planning on watching college football games at Caliente but somehow I don't think that is what she had in mind. Now I know the chicas are quite different than the American woman but somehow I didn't think she would want to spend the day watching football so in that respect they probably are the same as an American woman. I remember Madison talking about Rosarito and horseback riding so I said how about we drive to Rosarito. She kept saying popola or something like that wasn't sure what she was saying I just said ok.
She says first she had to feed the babies and change clothes. She is always calling home and checking in and she seems obsessed with feeding the babies. By the way the babies are not babies we are talking like 12 to 18 years old. So after driving through Tijuana for awhile she pulls up to some little market and starts beeping her horn, she yells something in Spanish and pretty soon a little boy maybe around 7 comes running out with bags of food she pays and tips the kid and we are off. Next stop she pulls up to a half taco cart half restaurant. She takes me over to a table and says wait here 20 minutes and she will be back I guess she dosen't want me to meet the babies. The people there were extremly friendly I just had a water but after a bit they talked me into a shrimp taco. I guess it doesn't matter where you are in Tijuana the food is outstanding.
Well she showed up right on time, of course Iam thinking what if she dosen't come back I have no clue where I. Am and not a taxi in sight. But anyway it was off to Rosarito we drove through the town I saw Rosarito Beach Hotel I said we go here, and she says no popola popola. Not sure what she is saying but we end up at this narrow dirt rode and she turns in there are all these guys trying to flag us down I don't know what they wanted but she keeps driving. Finally she talks to some guy and he directs us to a parking spot. This appears to be some sort of fishing village, there are a bunch of restraunts and then a hill going down to the beach. On the beach there are fisherman with stands selling all kinds of fresh fish, she seems pretty interested in the fish checking each stand out (By know I know whats going through her mind, food for the babies). We eventually take a walk down the beach climb the rocks and take some pictures. I tell her to wade out into the water and go set on the rocks and I will be able to take a nice picture of her and the ocean. When she gets on the rocks I wanted to wait for the right moment when there would be some water splashing against the rocks to take the picture. It was funny insead a huge wave comes up behind her and she ends up getting drenched. She thinks I set her up and acts like she is mad and tries to throw me in the water. As we walk back to the fish stands I see her start laughing and pointing at something. It was a beach volleyball game the funny thing was there was no net it was two guys [human poles] holding up a rope. Now it dosen't sound so funny I guess you would have had to have been there. I bought her some sun glasses and she ended up buying about 10 pounds of fish for the babies next day meal.
We through the fish in her trunk and ended up in a restraunt right overlooking the ocean. It was pretty romantic exept for the numerous soliciters that kept coming to the table every 5 minutes trying to sell us something, she did end up buying somekind of stuffed bread things [for the babies]. Besides the soliciters there was this sea gull that just sat inches away from her on the ledge and she just kept feeding him chips she then put some lettuce by him and he started shaking his head no and wouldn't touch it, she couldn't stop laughing. All and all it was probably the best date I have ever been on even including civilians.
We ended up heading back to Tijuana around 6 and of course after spending such a great day with her you can probably guess where the conversation was headed. So in a round about way I asked so how many guys did you fuck yesterday. She got a big smile on her face and she says ohhh you yellous. Then she took a moment and got real serious she said you don't understand its my work I have to feed the babies theres no spouso if I don't work they don't eat. She said me no gusta sexo in the bar but we need the money.
So then she got a call from her friend and she made some kind of plan to meet her friend in the Zona when her friend was done with work. She said we go Valentina ok. I said what about the fish don't you have to get them to the casa. She said no no problem. One thing I learned even with the language barrier, when you take away the loud club music it is easier to communicate.
We ended up at Valentina Bar. On a side note Valentina Bar might be a good place to hit up while in the zona looking for off duty chicas with no novios. After a couple buckets there I was informed we were going to a birthday party. For a guy who was always afraid to step foot outside the zona now the more adventure the better. One thing I noticed when leaving Valentina was is it my imagination or the street girls were really looking hot hotter than the bar girls.
So after driving through Tijuana for awhile, nobody was really sure where we were going they kept calling trying to get directions as we drove. We pull up to some small apartments or houses and someone comes out to get us there is a small party going on about 12 people sitting around and a few babies. I must say it was my first time entering someones house in Tijuana and right away you could feel the hospitality people I didn't know hugging me and offering beer and food. We sat around for about an hour and my chica seemed really bored. Finally said good bye and we were all ready to call it a night. It was hard getting a cab since there was no traffic on this street but eventually we made it back to the hotel. I didn't even have to talk her into staying she headed right to the room no questions asked but she did make it clear she would have to leave early in the morning to go feed the babies.
The next morning I walked her to her car she wanted me to drive it out of the parking garage for her. It didn't take long we were about 10 feet from the car when we were hit with strong odor of fish. But she said no problem pescada still good. OK I hope no one got sick.
We said our good byes and as I was walking back to the Hotel I did that look back thing, damn she wasn't looking oh well but it was one hell of a good weekend in Tijuana.
I headed back to the Border around 10 a. M. About an hour wait wasn't sure what to expect because it was 9/11 everything seemed pretty normal however there did seem to be more CBP guys standing around carrying big guns.Last edited by Admin; 09-15-11 at 17:21.
