Yup the bus from the border to revolucion only costs like 50/75 cents or 10/15 pesos I believe. I do that once in a while if I don't want to wait for the HK vehicles. You can also get off 1 block west of revolucion and walk straight down a couple blocks to the zona. Never had a problem no matter the time of day.

Not only is this my first Tijuana Monger report, it's my first time to Tijuana ever. F*ing insanely awesome and crazy place, (with some drama-I'll explain).

Before discovering these boarder towns. I continue to be disappointed / surprised that I've been paying stateside PD and Tryst prices in for years. $800/ HR in some cases in CA or AZ, etc for one chick, one hour, one pop. Tuesday arrive in Tijuana, entrance at SY is seamless midday. Taxi to Pueblo Amigo Casino was $5. Chose Pueblo based on a referral from a fellow monger and a great call! Hotel is completely girl / guest friendly and staying at a casino with nicer rooms is fun. Also, it's just close enough and just far enough away from the craziness of the zona..

Taco stands after dark for a solo gringo are dangerous. You will stand out, you can do it 100 times and maybe not have a incident but the chances of a incident are increased 1000% whenever you stand still outside. Even 2 seconds to look at the phone. And in your case you may have attracted attention duebto 3 girls in couple hours. Someone may have told someone this guys loaded. If you were paying 120 130 for a girl like you wrote, you were the perfect target.

Its 10 pesos most of the time but 15 pesos in the later evening around 7 or 8 pm maybe. But they would be happy with a dollar at both times but you won't get change. The bus is your opportunity to meet real Mexican woman who are way more friendly than American woman in cities like san Diego. You may get a woman to go to dinner and her apartment and not have a chance to spend more than 30 dollars a day in Tijuana.

I don't now if it is culturally. But there is no long bullshit gamesmanship in Tijuana as there is in San Diego. Twice in Tijuana, I have spotted a beautiful woman in public, walked up to her, tell her that she was the most beautiful woman I've seen in a long time, and told her that I wanted to be her boyfriend. And the next thing I knew, we were having a romantic dinner. Yeah it was that simple and fast. There was no phone tag, nor texting, nor any other games, no stupid fucking lines. Of course I later fucked it up when I realize that I really didn't want to commit to one girlfriend which is kind of the end game of many single Mexican women. They actually expected me to be their committed boyfriend after the 2nd date, but that is another story.

Women NGOs and news reporters showed guys hanging out in Queens and Brooklyn, handing out business cards, taking guys to clandestine brothels, filthy closets in run down buildings with women from South and Central America, I am guessing from Mexico too. They look dirty, low brow, not attractive at all. Guys don't have much choices, potentially pissing off the pimps if they keep turning them down.

Compared that to hanging out in Tijuana all night partying with and selecting from over a hundred girls in bars and on streets 24/7. Tijuana is a lot more fun and sexy than NYC. Guys are still arriving in van loads with big luggage to stay a few nights dropping lots of money for girls, drinks and tips. People packed in for this stupid VIP Chicas of the Year BS party. HK sold out all 80 tables at $500 min. WTF? HK has been raising prices for drinks and hotels; girls have also been raising prices and it will get worse soon.

New guys have 50% chance of paying high prices $100- 150 to bed girls with difficult personalities or nasty-smelling pussies. Every time I try new girls I got 50% chance of disgusting problems that made me end the sessions and swear off girls and sex for a while.

Overall La Zona still delivers good values with very good selection of hot girls, multiple sessions, good sex, good food, good fun, good entertainment for under $200-300 a night. Guys and couples are still flocking in by the van loads on weekends. Must be very attractive to lots of people.

Tuesday night didn't get out till about 11 pm to HK due to emails / work and the place was popping! No idea how many girls, but at least maybe 40-50 roughly, prob more. All shapes and sizes. So fairly great first night until I left. (Here comes the drama). I exit the front of HK about 3 am and the city / streets are still alive! I was shocked. Other boarder cities are dead by like 8 pm. It's 3 am, wed morning, and taxis / people everywhere.

So I go to a taco stand, right outside HK next to a row of taxis. I'm waiting for my "to go" tacos before I grab a taxi back to Pueblo and a street girl is just all fucking over me. I kept saying no thank you, no thank you, then she started to get mad for some reason, whistles across the street and some short, stocky Mexican dude comes over to me with some crazy eyes saying god knows what? I barely speak Spanish. But I guess it was her handler? The dude asks me for $40, then $20, LOL. I was just ignoring him as I wasn't intimidated the least bit by this little fuck and since I was next to the HK door team and a bunch of taxi drivers I really wasn't willing to entertain this guy thinking I was fairly safe. So the little handler is sounding off in Spanish, I'm drunk, but not slammed and then he grabs my arm to like demand my attention or something and I shoved his little ass 10 ft back across the sidewalk. No one reacted, the HK bouncers, the taxi drivers, or even the little handler who hit his head upon arrival to the sidewalk after I sent him for a ride. No one did anything? Then as I'm turning back to the taco stand I see 3 police officers literally right behind me like they were there the entire time. Foolishly, I assumed they saw the situation and were about to be on my side. I was wrong. Almost immediately the police start asking me for money. $200 to be exact. A random American next to me getting tacos as well who spoke perfect Spanish started telling the officers the story and it was clear they didn't care and merely wanted my money. Shook me down, asking for $200 or I was going to be arrested, but all I had was $68. And yes, they checked my pockets and wallet. So they took $60 and left me $8 for a taxi back to my hotel. Unreal and a learning experience.

Needless to say my second night I laid low and got some delivery ladies from Musas, which was honestly even a better experience but I'll report back on that in another post. My fingers hurt enough from this post.

All in all though, I love me some Tijuana!

Everyone keeps saying how HongKong keeps upping prices and the service is inconsistent, and the street walkers seem really sketchy. I live in the Northeast, is there any reason to go here? Any other alternatives that I can go to?

The Northeast is a pile of shit so anywhere would be better than where you live.

Compared to what? I walk all over the city.

Do you walk north of Coahuila on Constitucion, past Chicago Club? How far west down Coahuila do you walk? East of Constitucion on Coahuila is sketchy, too. Do you go to any of these places at night? Bodies are turning up all the time on Mutualismo. The area surrounding the main clubs is no place for a newbie, especially after dark. You can't say the same for most of Revolucion between Primera and Octava, or most of Zona Rio or Chapu.

I usually walk to the Zona if it is during the day or early evening. The taxi vans go by 4th & Revolucion. You still have to walk about 4 blocks to the Zona. So you don't save much time by taking the taxi vans.

I took a local bus once from the border to the zona. I was with a buddy who lives in San Diego, so he knew the lay of the land and is cheap. I think he paid 20 pesos for each one of us, if I remember correctly.

I've recently found out about taking a bus from the border to El Centro. Can't remember the cost but it was pretty cheap. You pick it up close to the taxi line up just past the turnstiles.

La Zona's streets around the bar block are pretty tame. On weekends lots of people are on the street after 2 -3 AM. Have not heard of any crimes recently. I feel safer around La Zona's bar block than in downtown LOS Angeles, because there are always people around with policia and army patrols on foot and on trucks.

Sunday afternoon last week, policia was trying to arrest a drug dealer on Constitucion Av. The guy ran away so policia shot him in the leg. He was laying flat on the sidewalk right in front of bar Malquerid while AMT treated him. Just stay way away from drug dealers on the streets, men and women who mumble "cuanto, cuanto " to be safe.

Tijuana street girls are nice and gentle, not nasty like US street girls, some look very hot. The hotels make sure they don't rob or steal from clients. Couple guys with high sex drive would bag 4 or 5 street girls a night, spending $150-200. Bar girls would cost $700-800.

La Zona is convenient and fairly safe, where you can bag 5 girls a night in between partying with hot girls in HK without breaking your bank, pretty good deal.
