I have a married friend who goes down a lot. As far as we could figure out there is no way to fix the ring tone problem. He has to leave his phone in the US and has a special phone just for use in Tijuana that he hides.

Where are these middle class neighborhoods? Even a friend in playas in beautiful home couldn't keep her car in the street or it would be broken into or stolen and every house had bars and fences and gates like it was south Africa. Most people with money try and live in buildings with security. A nice relaxed neighborhood that's middle class in Tijuana? Gringo friendly? Few and far between.

I take it you haven't lived in Tijuana. They have areas that are gated, luxury amenities, etc. I can tell lots of luxury apartments are going up specifically catering to foreigners. I live in a middle class colony and you can tell just driving around the different areas the lower class, middle class, and upper class areas. I even saw a $10-$15 M house for sale in Tijuana in Chapultepec area.

People drive crazier in SoCal than anything I've experienced in Tijuana. I have yet to see someone try to cross 5 lanes on a freeway to get to the off-ramp doing 80-100 mph. Also people seem more respectful and courteous than in the USA Pretty much every person I've walked past in the colony I live in says the greeting of the day, buenas Dias, noche, etc. Even though I don't speak the language. Also at restaurants you have random strangers that tell you to enjoy your food, provecho similar to bon appetite in France. I thought it was odd the people leaving the restaurant would say it, but I guess it is common courtesy.

I've never been to PR, but know most go for tax advantages and you'd be closer to other Caribbean spots, but don't think you'll find better value in the PR compared to Tijuana. The beauty of it is that it is within close proximity to CA and has an airport that can get you within Mexico for cheap.

    Summer Sunday in Tijuana

Was in La Zona last Sunday with some bros, got there around 2:00 pm.

We went to Chicago Club and outside the entrance there was a swimming pool with three chicas in bikinis. Inside Chicago was mostly empty, with one chick on stage dancing. We took a seat to view the show. A decent looking chick approached me, and I invited her for a drink at a table. Her drink costs 9 $, and mine 4 $. We talked and cuddled for a bit. She told me she was a Tijuana native, unusual since most people in Tijuana are from somewhere else. The chick had a cool attitude and I tipped her for it.

My group and I then went to Adelitas club. It was later in the day, and there were more people at Adelitas than at Chicago, but a similar vibe. I saw a chick walking inside the club; from her dark complexion, wavy hair and amazing curves, I figured she was not Mexican. I went up and asked her where she was from, her response "Medellin." I told her I have been to her city and praised Colombia. She went to entertain a client at a table, so I bought a drink for a big tall blond who told me she was from Mexicali and we chatted nicely for a bit.

The drink pricing in Adelitas was the same as in Chicago Club. Being familiar with Hong Kong Club, the prices for drinks are basically the same in all three clubs, only the chicks are hotter in HK (going "arriba" being more expensive in HK, quite naturally). At Chicago and Adelitas you have more of a mix of average chica types as compared to HK, which has mostly top tier talent. In any case, I only buy drinks at the clubs, so they all provide me the same mileage. Also the entrance to Chicago and Adelitas is less friction, with HK security asking to remove objects from pockets.

My group also went to bar La Gloria which features cumbia music. This is more of a regular bar, with normal looking locals dancing and drinking to cumbia songs. Since I'm a big fan of cumbia, I rather enjoyed La Gloria, as well as their 2 $ drinks.

Then we trekked to Torito Pub / Restaurant / Discoteque on Revolution between Calle 2 & 3, which during the day is a restaurant, but at night turns to a disco bar. We went upstairs to their balcony that overlooks Ave Revolution and drank 2 $ canned Coronas with a great view of Tijuana as the sun went down. The balcony was a nice touch, though the bathroom was bare-bones and lacked a sink. Across the street was an attractive looking Italian restaurant Guissepis that a bro said had good pasta, have to try it on another trip.

In between these bar / restaurant runs, we walked the whole length of the street girl scene a few times over, and being a warm summer Sunday, there were plenty of beautiful chicas out to do business, a mix of regulars and many I've never seen before, was quite impressive. As we were leaving, we saw a stunningly beautiful light skinned girl standing in the alley, looking very young and flawless. She reached out and held my hand urging me to go with her; was very tempted but I already had my fill of chicas for the day, hehe. My bro talked with her briefly, said her name was Karla, and she left us breathless.

There were plenty of people walking out-and-about on these streets. Also there was a heavy presence of national guard soldiers in full combat gear, both on trucks and walking around, sporting big assault rifles, helmets, vests, and pistols on hip-holsters. I saw two groups of these Guardia Nacional troops patrolling on foot, their presence was definitely felt.

    Yes.

For some reason they like to save those remodeled rooms for the vanilla guests like families and mexican tourists. You can request it and pay extra no problem but they never will give it to you without asking.

The rooms you stayed in were $40 during the week FOREVER then they jacked up the price. The room quality is not worth the now asking price of $65 HOWEVER The location IS worth it and they usually leave me alone to do my thing which means a lot to me. I am super tempted to become a Ticuan resident but these guys have done me right for years. I would seriously consider living there long term in one of their apartments suites. Those are at the very end of the parking lot. They have full kitchens and a living room but they face noisy Avenida Negrete.

Nothing to see here, same as it ever was

    I thought I would drop a note.

As the title states nothing to see here; If you are a regular visitor to Tijuana or Lower Baja in general no need to repeat things like Hong Kong has the best looking providers and it goes down from there.

All the escort websites like CuminTJ are still operational.

Stayed only for the day, if you don't have Sentri expect wait times of at least an hour mid-day.

If you are new to Lower Baja it's safe, especially the Zona. Well lit and populated with Police / Security.

Went inside of Hong & Adelitas.

A Dominican when she was done grinding on some other guy, came over to sit down next to me.

Ask me the usual bit of chit-chat, I bought one girl drink. After that she got the hint I wasn't interested in much more, which is true.

I hadn't been in either place for a very long time.

    Tell me about it.

It started working late at night, which tells me the router they are using gets hot / overworked.

I am not a newbie, I monger in the USA But Tijuana scene is new to me. My question is the guest fee. I was watching a guy on YT, he is basically saying that even the Chica friendly hotel does not allow more girls to come if you stay there for couple of days. I will be coming to Cali for business, I will be staying in SD, for at least 2-3 weeks, I only have to be on the site for few days in the beginning and few days towards the end, I may have to check in at the site during the middle. So that leaves me plenty of time in between to play. I told my boss I will be staying in Tijuana for at least a week in the middle.

So If I stay, lets say 5 days in a Chica friendly hotel, what are the rules? I plan to see agency girls, sent to my room, 1 or 2 per day. So in 5 days that's 10 Chicas.
Keep in mind the guy in the video is describing one particular hotels policy. You will find different hotels have different policies. For example a place like hotel Ticuan will require your guest to present an ID at the front desk before going to your room. But 2 hours later as long as the first guest has left no problem bringing another guest and no extra charges.

So the best solution is ask the policy before booking or ask on here about the hotel and you will probably get an answer regarding their guest policy.
