Sorry, I did not mean to imply that the DEA had formal jurisdiction in Mexico, only that they are there and God knows what type of shit they are doing. All we really know is that a DEA undercover guy was murdered in the 80's by the Guadalajara Cartel (Enrique Camarena) and that a US Homeland Securities guy (Jaime Zapata) was killed in San Luis Potosí a decade ago. I have not heard or read that the US Government has stopped trying to fight drugs since then, although I can appreciate the skepticism that they really want the drug war to go away.

I don't know if the drugs are fake or not, only that they were available everywhere in Carmen del Playa. Presumably there is SOMETHING in the pills that keeps the customers happy (and I am guessing that "something" is fentanyl). I am not opposed to over the counter Viagra and Cialis, but OTC oxycodone seems a bit wild to me. After all, people are shooting each other in New York and Los Angeles over this shit! We might as well legalize it all and stop killing each other over it.

I am beginning to believe that the drug war could be won or a big dent into it is possible. But then the funding for the DEA and funding to Mexico for the assistance in the drug war would dry up. Therefore once in a while show some big drug busts to valid their existence and purpose but don't shut it down! Maintain status quo.

Yeah pretty much how everything in the world works. Every group, every politician or government organization is for sale. It would be near impossible to find one that isn't.

I was in playa del Carmen recently and while driving around town noticed that the pharmacies were advertising Viagra, Cialis, Azithromycin, Ambien and "pain medications " on signs all set up on the curb. I went into a pharmacy and inquired and indeed generic drugs, including valium. Ambien, Tylenol with codeine and percocet were available over the counter (although they were quite expensive). I decided against purchasing some sleepers and oxycodone, despite the temptation. I suspect that the narcotics are all fentanyl in small doses, but have no real idea what they are actually selling.

But I wondered, is this also true in a border city like Tijuana? I would have thought the DEA would be all over this, but I guess they are busy enough with the larger scale narco traffickers.

I purchased some Ambien clone in Nuevo Progreso, TX last year and tried a few, seemed ineffective. Crossing by land you can legally declare up to 50 dosage units per day but must be for personal use. By air I don't think so and as you mentioned risks and even if placebos what a waste of phucking money. I think if get to know Tijuana farmacias well can get the good and safe stuff. Last trip back from Tijuana last month was surprised they sold Soma (carisoprodol) muscle relaxer in one of the farmacias along the stores right before the border. Was $50 I think for 50 pills but just wondered if legit any good or just a fake placebo?

Arrived at San Ysidro, parked at LAZ $10, walked across showing my Forma Migratoria Multiple that had previously cost me about $35, got a Taxi Libre over to Zona Norte 75 MXN found a pretty girl that does anal standing outside Hotel Ximena 30 MXN. So disappointing! No BBBJ and she could barely get past the head before she gagged. She had a nice tight ass but was absolutely silent. For the life of me, I just could not cum! And then time ran out. : Grabbed a Libre Taxi back to San Ysidro $5. The main reason for my trip was to assess the border crossing. I was in and out very smoothly, there wasn't a lot of traffic, didn't ask for my vaccine card. I'm going back again tonight.

Their prime ribs just melt in your mouth, full of good beefy tastes and flavors. That alone is worth going for, but you can also ask them to bring out your favorite cuts. Their salad bar got smaller after CoVid. Used to be full of fresh veggies, cheeses, exotic cold cuts and pastas. I hope they bring it back up like before.

Premium beers are only $2; wines start at about $15 a bottle.

There are many fine Mexican as well as ethnic restaurants in Tijuana worth checking out.

Brazilian AYCE BBQ, Mr Pampas or Churrrascaris do Brazil, about 1 mile South of La Zona, weeknight specials as low as $12, weekends $18, their big slabs of prime rib are so tender and tasty.

Villa Saverios, about 2 miles South, Gastro park in El Centro, upscale place, classic Mexican / Italian cuisine.

A few fancy seafood places along the coast of Playa de Tijuana, will impress bar girls.

A few sushi places in El Centro, bar girls loooooves sushi hehe.

Take bar girls out for local dates, partying in local clubs in Zona Rio. You may find a few hot, young, willing civies and want to dump bar girls.

Spend 1 or 2 days in Ensenada with or without bar girls, AYCE lobster buffet for $10,10 fish tacos for $1 on the malecon precovid. Don't know if they are still open.

I love Brazilian meat buffet, so damn good. Will check this spot out.

Deep sea fishing on party boats from Ensenada malecon. You will catch lots of sea bass and ling cods this season. You can donate your fresh catch to me. Let me know.

Ensenada's Baja 1000 race was a couple weeks ago. The town was full of piston heads and hot, young girls partying, getting ready for the race. I used to buy fresh seafood off the fish market and cook / grill them on hotel Santo Tomas' balcony, eating, drinking, partying all day, all night for cheap.

Drive down to San Quintin, take a panga out to play with whales and their calves wintering near the bay.

Go gambling at one of the casinos downtown or other places. You can bet on sports games.

They have dog races at the Caliente hippodromo, restaurants galore, vip cinemas with loungers, Rosarito, Ensenada, Valle Guadalupe for wine, Puerto Nuevo for lobster, and the list could go on. Just read the forum. We have shared plenty of experiences here. Hope you have fun!

Hk slow Thursday night between Christmas and rain. Walked block east encountered a 3 some chica fist fest. Grabbed the puncher because I was already drunk. In end it had to do with exchange cell phones and they all went their separate ways. I do my best to patrol the Zona Norte for toda.

Sorry for the confusion. The goal was never to tour them around Zona. These friends are females and were talking over 50 years old ok. I knew I wanted to connect up with the bro's after 6 pm and knew these ladies would enjoy a little Tijuana touring around before, so I just thought of combining the two and they would leave and I would stay later and head for HK.

Yes. I was doing them a bit of a favor but the places we visited. Are cool tourist places to visit so I just enjoy going as well. But it's a bit more fun with others etc.

We do get together and do some taco places in San Diego but it's not the same.

One of them speaks almost fluent Spanish and enjoys talking with the taxi drivers. Then vendors etc.

I also wanted them to meet the Tijuana local who retired down to Playus as she is looking for travel buddies for other parts of Mexico and I thought maybe one of these gals maybe interested if they met.

It's not easy to find people who are Tijuana friendly and just want to cross over and explore a bit.

I bought a 7 o year old friend to Tijuana 2 years ago 3 pm. She's got a body of 30 year old. Rarely sees her husband. I took her to eat tacos and back to border before dark. She was scared. I wanted to take her to HK but she was to old for it.
