Can anyone recommend a massage parlor that would offer a 90 minute to 2 HR 4-hand massage (preferred)? Or even a 2-hand massage? Happy endings not a critical criteria, but it would be good to know if they did it, too.

    Positive recommendations welcomed. Thanks.
In general I have found the massage therapists in Tijuana to be lazy and persistent in asking for tips without paying much attention to the details at hand. There have been a few exceptions but in the long run it wasn't worth the $$ for me.

In all fairness though they get almost nothing from the business they work for by doing the massage so their income really depends on the tip.

You shouldn't be fearful just because some mongers get their a $$ handed to them on the daily on this forum. Majority probably don't post their good times, but I've been living in Tijuana for past year and been going to Mexico since 2005. Never heard a gunshot, seen dead bodies in streets, or anything crazy. I've seen some crazy shit in Las Vegas, Atlanta, New Orleans, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. As long as you're not into drugs, driving through narco stash houses, etc. , then you should be golden. You may get hit with cross fire if gang activity heats up, but could happen anywhere. I know Tulum and Cancun had reports where they were doing a shootout during breakfast and some were even on jetskis. I call that a true adrenaline rush if you ever need one. Have fun and stay safe!
I have been going down there for years, always have taken a cab to Velario because I couldn't do anything else, that hotel does not provide a shuttle. I was just trying to get some other opinions on what to do.

Thanks for everyone's feedback on the no-passport question. I know it's brought up a bunch of times but good to get a scope of what's going on currently. Will see if he wants to give it a go with out having one.

The Mexican immigration officials have been turning guys back for past few years. I have seen this on multiple occasions. The best thing is to simply go to the UCSD passport office & apply for a passport. Fill out the FMM form & take the proof of application & FMM form. Just go in the line where the Mexican citizens cross. Do not look at the Mexican immigration officers unless you are stopped. If they stop you just show the form. In most cases they will not stop you.

You'd walk down towards the Arch, once you're at the Arch make a left on Primera, and keep walking until you hit Velario (which is right on Primera).

One thing about the taxi vans is they don't pull off until they're full. Depending on how large your suitcase is they might make you either wait a little bit for one of the more spacious vans or pay a little bit extra for bringing the suitcase (which presumably would take up an additional seat). I've taken large suitcases on taxi vans a couple times before and had to pay $2 total, which was still a good deal. Have had no issues walking with my luggage down to the Zona Norte area.

If you don't want to walk at all, taxi or Uber is going to be your best bet going to Velario. If you were going to HK (or one of the clubs affiliated with HK) you could just take the free shuttle from the border.

    Other bars

They give your company a green wrist band. The thing that was odd was my company was propositioned by another monger that offered $500. The place was pretty packed for a Thursday night and they had a large Banda band playing music. Service is good and ok food. I would be back without company as they tend to get extremely jealous.

Anyone been to this place? https://sietedecopasbar.com/coupons.php Also noticed a new joint near an Autozone in middle of town. Forgot the name and specific location. Most likely not fully staffed, but would be interesting to check out..
This place has been talked about in the past, like I said before I haven't been to 7 de Copas in a long long time but they have expanded and have a large stage for live music. So I'd imagine it will be similar to CDP. Both are same family as HK so other bars might find it harder to compete. I remember before they had a bar out in that area called Titanic. It was actually a really good place to go to with a decent selection of girls that weren't gringo jaded. We'd go sometimes on a Saturday night since the Zona was too crowded. Even one of my exs friends worked there for a little while. Unfortunately I think it closed down around 2010.

Another bar that used to get talked about on some of the older boards that I never visited was Bar Charlie's. It was over across from Plaza Carrusel if I remember correctly. The guys that would talk about the place mentioned that it was more of a regular bar but had some girls that freelanced at the place. Not sure if it's still open, as I'm sure many places found it hard to stay open during COVID. With Tijuana being so large and spread out the only people that have the time to investigate are those that live in Tijuana or drive around the area often. Most guys on this board seem to walk across and don't have the time to waste looking for the hole in the wall places. The only other places I remember when I would drive around is that they use to have a strip club by the stadium if my memory is correct, and another strip club I would see when you take the free road to Rosarito. Unfortunately I would always go by during the day so not sure if it was still in business.

If your looking to just hang out and drink with some girls away from your jealous girl I think it would be best to just stay in the smaller bars in the Zona like Playboy or Manhatta. Sometimes you can find a cutie. Or even Dolce why Gabana but I haven't been in that place for awhile. Your other option is to go to Amnesia on Revolution since someone mentioned that it's still open and is still a nice place inside if they haven't changed it.

A guy from San Diego I met in HK took me here. I do not recommend at all. To me, it looks like the Hong Kong for locals. They probably don't want foreigners. Otherwise they would go to HK. The woman, in looks were at HK 7,8 girls. The rich gringo that took me, was throwing $ around. He Gave a girl a 100 to take me to VIP room. She immediately wanted 80 more. I walked out and she kept her money. I asked twice but being I wasn't in hk and in middle of nowhere, and it wasn't my money I let it go. Usually I would ask to speak to manager over 10 bucks LOL. But yeah nothing to see here unless your Mexican and want to experience how the locals do their Hong Kong.
