Sort of quiet around here, no posts for a couple of days. Is everyone down at the tequila expo getting sloshed? I checked it out and it was seemed smaller in area than last year but plenty of booths offering samples and a higher percentage of pretty hostesses. Probably a better selection than last year.

We had our share of tequila as well as some tacos. Worth the 70 pesos ($5. 30) entry fee.

It runs through Sunday but today will be the highest attendance.

Located on Benito Juarez RRosarito near MC Donalds. They asked what name wanted then registered for me. They even suggest a Hispanic one! Had to wait maybe 20 minutes tlil they confirmed online. Got a phone there for 130pesos with 50 units airtime. Big bulky, old, but works have to carry in a bag phone rebuilt cerca 1995. I understand Moviestar only works in bigger areas of Mexico still great deal

Can you get after market V in Tijuana it been 20yrs sence I was there.

They are all over Tijuana and all over Mexico. 219 pesos or about $18 for 4 100 mg. Pills called Maxfort Zimax. There are cheaper options but ound this chain dependable no phony stuff. And watch out for the cops technically you need presciption but famarcy sells without it.

The Telcel website says you cannot activate your phone while you're in the USA.

And even activated the phone is practically useless in the USA except for receiving text messages. Great to have and use in Tijuana though. I've had mine for many years but maybe 3 years ago they made everyone register them using their full name and some other criteria. Back then you could do it by sending a text msg to Tel Cel but now days you have to go to an office. It's a pain.

Then if you go past 60 days without buying a prepaid card they cut your service off until you recharge it. Another pain.

Are you speaking from experience? The Telcel website says you cannot activate your phone while you're in the USA.

Headed down to Tijuana immediately after work on Friday and stormed my way from parking lot behind JIB to the zona. Same deal.

Hung out at the back alley for a little, discovered a "new" taco joint that is NOT the one at the corner of the main coahuila and constitucion but instead on the other side of the block, run by this senorita and her husband (?) ,

Finally, ended the night with this fucking hot thing w / tall, full body (forgot her name but goes by something that starts w / F) and I met her a long time ago in amnesia anywya, she obviously recognized my face and smiled wide when she saw me, (looks like she just got out from upstairs) , anyway, offered to buy her a few drinks and she was happy to accept, not sure if it is my imagination but she seems to be a little more affectionate to me compared to when I see her with other guys, she allows me lips to graze her face and even grabs my hand. The many times I have seen her with other guys, typically she just hovers above them but not much else, then again, maybe it is just my little head doing the thinking,

Anyway, she had to leave a couple of times but always return as she promised, finally after her dance, I asked her if she wanted to go upstairs to which she looked at me and said "but I don't have sex with friends", eventually the conversation came to me asking her how much she charge, at first she wouldn't say citing that most guys leave after she quotes but I say try me anyway, she said 150 dlls for 30 mins, and I said "ok sounds good, lets stick with the drinks for now", me cheap bastard.

Anyway, she left me her number and we exchanged a few txts, she is one of those hotties who know there are guys in the world who will spend any amount to bag her regardless of whether they can afford it, I will just look to her as a trophy to be won.

UPDATE: my atf#1 has started texting me again quite aggressively despite having disappeared for a while without any news, too lazy to share all the details but I shall say that her unprecitability is what drives me nuts (read, obsessed) with her, and she never directly answers my question, we shall see what happens this week.

Guys, I don't know how to activate my Telcel sim. Can you guys give me some directions. I'm trying to activate it in Los Angeles. Do I have to go down to Mexico to do it? I want to use this card to text my girls while I'm in Mexico since my T-Mobile texting rates are crazy in Mexico!

There are two ways to activate a prepaid Telcel SIM:

1. You have to be a Mexican citizen. Call Telcel customer service. I think it is *3 but not sure. The phone must be in a Telcel service area. If you are in L. A. You are probably roaming on AT&T and I don't think you'll be able to reach customer service. Once you are in Mexico, call customer service. They will ask you the basic questions. Then they will ask for your citizenship number. Obviously, if you are not a Mexican citizen you won't have one. If you have a Mexican friend, you can have your friend use their citizenship number to activate you SIM card. As long as you have a citizenship number, your phone can be activated over the phone.

2. If you are not a Mexican citizen, you MUST go to a corporate owned Telcel store to activate your phone. There is one in Plaza Rio, a $3 cab ride away. There's actually 2 Telcel stores there. You must go to the big, huge one that is corporately owned. The other store is much smaller. They will ask you for your basic info. They will also require your passport. Good thing about Telcel is that you get to choose 3 favorite numbers (must be Telcel) that you can call / text for free.

And when you add minutes, do so at Oxxo or some other corporate store. The independent little shops might be tempted to rip you off. There is a small cell shop on Revolution, just south of Ticuan. I went there to add $10 each to two different phones. At the time, I should have received approx 137 pesos credit per phone. But the text I received indicated I only received 100 pesos. The shopkeeper, who's teeth looked like he was chewing on a bag of rocks, ripped me off. When I complained, he stated that Telcel uses a 10 to 1 ex-rate. I said no way is that possible and then he said they use 11. 5 to 1. He offered me back $2 when really he stole about 75 pesos which would be about $5. 50. I didn't want to sit and argue over $3. 50 so I just took the $2 and left. The next day, my cell didn't work so I went online to check my balance. It was less than 2 pesos. So that bastard must have canceled my credits that I paid for.

It should automatically activate once you get down to mexico providing the SIM card is still active. Just add some minutes onto it when you get there. I have a Telcel SIM card in my phone now but I can't connect either. Chances are you have a pre-paid plan. Therefore it will not work while roaming.

If that fails just agree to email each other. Internet cafes are all over TJ and cost next to nothing. Maybe it would be a good idea to open up a separate email account for chicas...just in case.

It will be on Ave. Revo and Calle 7. For more info google Tijuana Tequila. Booths with Tequila, raffles, etc. The preview of the Queen contestants will be on Saturday at 8 PM. From the look of the video from last year they have some very hot women.

Shows start at 2 PM, and I think it actually opens at about 10 AM.

For those Tequila lovers it should be a great time. Another weekend in Tijuana for me. I need intervention. If you see a fat, old, fart, with a Panama hat on, stumbling around prop me up.
