    Foam Show.

I was being somewhat sarcastic, he seemed to enjoy it. Though towards the end the girls found a belt and managed to use it on him once before he had finally had enough. I suppose unfortunate in the sense of being made a public spectacle. He was a braver man than I.

As for tipping for a grope at HK, I didn't bother with the pole dancers. Watching other people they didn't get much, if anything. However, in the shaving foam show hands were allowed. Encouraged even. Almost everywhere. I still grin at the thought of these slippery girls presenting for you when you tip a dollar.

Tijuana is certainly run down. I have been further south through Rosarito and Ensenada and while they're no Hilton, they are more upmarket than downtown Tijuana.

    IB's Trip Report (Part 3).

    Wednesday 6/20/18.

I decided to test a day trip into Tijuana while keeping my base of operations in San Diego. It worked out wonderfully. I went to the Casino for about 4 hours at about 8:00 am, played Ultimate Holdem. I actually managed to win back my 800 pesos. Meaning I broke even on my trip. I went to the Zona Norte and walked the Alley, I found an adorable girl wearing glasses named Jessica, typical 400 peso deal. Then I ate a taco at the Ninos cart, relaxed at the place across the street with an appetizer. After a bit I was determined to get a Bar Girl. So I went to Hong Kong. Eventually I got to talking with Zonkey, I am 80 percent certain that was her name, she drank her fischa slowly and I asked her Arriba. 1600 pesos for her, 17 for the room, she was pretty good. Asked for payment upfront. I showed her the money and said despues, she insisted. I seriously considered walking away, but decided I would risk it. She performed very well, with good attitude, and earned a small propina.

Feeling like I wanted a girl more typical of the Mexican body type even if older (thus far I had been with petite, girl next door types). I went next door to Adelitas. After talking to a few girls, I was approached by Linda, holy smokes batman! She was curvy with a small belly, her face was open and expressive with large brown eyes, plump lips, and a big beautiful white smile with dimples. 22 years old, got her a ficha we talked about an hour, very relaxed, then went Arriba. She seemed to truly enjoy herself. Giggles, small kisses, pleasurable facial expressions, just passion in general which seemed to be lacking on this trip thus far. A true GFE and a beauty in my opinion. She was definitely my favorite. 1500 pesos plus a propina cause we went over the half hour by 15 or 20 minutes or so, plus her attitude was phenomenal. Got back across the border by 4 pm. Unfortunately, I had to head home the next day cutting my trip short. I am glad that I got to end on a very positive note though, that face will be with me until my deathbed!

    Some reflection:

I don't think I like Hong Kong, I know that is basically heresy. I am an avid strip club guy, and I was hoping for a strip club experience on steroids, so it is very possible that my expectations were simply not appropriate. It seemed difficult getting the girls to engage with you and the ones that I was interested in were very aloof. I get plenty of aloof strippers here home! It was really difficult to tell which ones I could have connected with. Making eye contact rarely worked. More often than not a dollar offered (and taken) would get me a Gracias and nothing else, I mean not even a flash. There's a strong possibility that my personality just doesn't fit, but I'll certainly try again one day. Adelitas is the opposite, the girls seem to have a very relaxed and natural approach to making conversation and developing even a superficial connection with touch and eye contact, though larger than I prefer they are still very attractive in the face, most of them. The street girls took some getting used to. I've never gone up to a hot girl in America and said "Suckie fuckie, all your clothes off!" So I was shy at first, but over time I was able to gauge interest, the smile that reaches the eyes and communicate smoothly from there. The SGs, aside from the first one, were generally sweet, appreciative, and a couple even joked around with me. I had some genuine laughs even with the language barrier.

In General: The people seemed like solid, patient people. The food, no matter where I ate was phenomenal. One downside was the state of parts of the city. There was trash everywhere, and the deterioration of the city was apparent. I wonder if I had gone further away from the border the areas would have become cleaner and more inviting? I never thought of myself as small town or sheltered, but I may have to consider that I am, I was paranoid to the point of distraction, and at times a little fearful. Not for any particular reason mind you, it was just there.

I have yet to try Mision 19, I was planning to do so today (Friday), but I had to cut my trip short. I really like the Pueblo Amigo hotel, where the Casino is. It looks like a professional, even upscale operation. Otherwise, I think that day trips from San Diego are perfect for me. I felt much more secure with my stuff across the border and only carrying what I can afford to lose. The only way I would explore more of Tijuana or head further south is with a buddy.

Overall: While not quite living up to my expectations, I would return now that I understand the game a bit more. With a bit more experience I think I can crack Hong Kong. I definitely want to explore more of Tijuana and areas further south. I did not feel that there was much of a language barrier because people were extraordinarily patient. However, even using my limited Spanish with a smile on my face seemed to put the girls more at ease, so learning the language much more thoroughly is high on the list.

I want to take the time to thank everyone that contributes, without your guys' input I believe the trip could have been much more difficult, so thank you all!

    IB's Trip Report (Part 2)

    Sunday 6/17/18.

Woke up early, God only knows why. Walked to Restaurant 58. The walk was reasonable, but man seeing the zona norte this early was eerie, I was super paranoid. Seeing the sidewalks and the streets in the light of day with hardly any people around, I was struck with just how filthy the place is. How run down it looks. Restaurant 58 was delicious. They have a very varied menu and many types of smoothies. Cost hardly anything! Everyone was super excited because Mexico was playing soccer, I tried watching it, I really do not understand that sport. Got back to my room, napped. Eventually went around the block and found Carina I think her name was. Went for the typical 400 peso deal in her room. Had her bathe with wipes that I brought. Again, sweet, pretty. The room was 70 pesos and seemed clean. I like the beds in these rooms because they are lower and I can do standing mish and doggy, built for the short guys!

Ate from the taco cart on Nino's. Wow! Relaxed with a shrimp appetizer across the street, the place with a thatched roof, La Perla right? I like this place it feels like an oasis in the chaos, it seems really clean and the waitress was cute. She knew English too. Everyone was very excited about Mexico winning at soccer, trucks were flying around the block with Mexico flags honking their horns. People were in a great mood. I tried peeking in Hong Kong it was too slow, girls just were not interested. Went around the block instead found Tatiana or rather she grabbed me outside Ibiza. Now normally I don't like that. In fact there's a group of girls on one of the corners that will literally grab my hand and pull on me with their weight, they don't listen when I say no, I have to say let go now very firmly, and pull my hand hard before they do. Anyhow, Tatiana was really cute and turned out to be the best so far, I made a rookie mistake and forgot to ask for oral when I made my 400 peso bid, so was upcharged in the the room, a whole 200 pesos. Dammit. It was worth it though, excellent oral! Then she rode like a champ! 22 years old and claimed to have 3 kids, no stretch marks or anything. She was the most aggressive and active in the bedroom thus far. Ibiza is more like Adelitas and Hong Kong, I believe the room was 85 pesos then I had to tip the clean up guy.

The SGs I had so far were generally slim, short, small breasted (which I prefer) and all had girl next door faces. It was like every high school fantasy come true.

At this point I went to the casino in the Pueblo hotel. It's pretty nice, a smoking section and a non-smoking section. Table games are in the smoking section, the air wasn't as bad as Vegas though. It's odd, I wonder if the cigarettes Mexicans smoke just aren't as powerful? Cause it doesn't assault the senses as badly. Filtration seemed to be pretty good too. Anyhow, with a little luck, a lot of patience on their part, plus a small propina, I understood their system. You go to the cashier and exchange money for a slip with the amount written on it. Before that, however, you go to the girl sitting to the right of the cashiers and get your personal card. This is your ID and can be used on the machines as well. At the table games the dealer takes the paper and your ID to give you chips and check you in, respectively. There are both table games with American money used and table games with pesos. There is no currency exchange, as far as I can tell, so if you bring dollars you are stuck with American money tables. Same thing with Pesos. The ATM only dispenses pesos by the way. I was disappointed because as far as I could tell they didn't have holdem tournaments like I am used to. They did have Ultimate holdem where you play against the dealer. Everything on the felt was in Spanish and I had never played this game before, but with my translate app and 20 minutes of watching, plus a smiling patient dealer, I was set. Minimum bet is 30 pesos, Max is 500 pesos. At the American currency games they are a dollar and 50 dollars, if memory serves, it actually might go higher than that. So a gambler could bet pretty heavily if he wanted to. They have craps, roulette, three card poker, something called Spanish 21, and a couple of other table games that I don't recall offhand.

I spent about 800 pesos playing Ultimate Texas holdem and that killed about 4 hours. The dealer was freaking adorable, the stuff you wish your girlfriend was made of, all smiles and dimples while she takes all your money!

I decided to have dinner at Azuls thinking it would be convenient, since it was about 7:30 pm and getting dark. I waited for three hours and had to change my order twice for various reasons due to kitchen issues. Once they even brought me someone else' dinner. Eventually, I got Carn Azada, it was not worth the wait. I would personally not eat here again. The waiter was apologetic, but ultimately, I should have just gotten a couple of tacos from the taco cart on ninos.

I went into Hong Kong it was a steady kind of busy. I sat at the bar and tried to entice girls to let me fondle them for dollar propinas. It was more difficult than I thought. Many girls just took my dollar and walked off, I guess I have ATM tattooed on my forehead or something. The girls dancing would sometimes be very friendly for the propina. Others would just do nothing, one even told me she wanted two dollars to take off her top, I walked away. I did see the foam show and a poor unfortunate fella that got dragged on stage. That was interesting. I left after a couple hours thinking that perhaps Hong Kong just wasn't for me, nothing wrong with that, after all everyone has their preference.

Next morning (Monday), again way too early, I walked around the block. I saw Tatiana, decided to repeat with her, making sure to discuss all of the particulars for a reasonable 400 pesos this time. The girl was laughing, she had no shame. Thus the game I suppose.

At this point I headed to San Diego for a couple of days to explore, sightsee, and recharge.

    IB's Trip Report (Part 1).

    Hey all,

First I want to apologize to those I was supposed to meet, I was dog tired by the time I managed to cross the border around 8 and I admit I did not do nearly enough research regarding phone use out of country, I only had access to WiFi and I did not want to incur roaming charges. In the future I will endeavor to be accessible because I do believe that making mongering friends is important.

    Saturday 6/16/18.

Hong Kong room is nice, they didn't have the safe key which was a bit disappointing considering that if my debit card is stolen from the room I was out of luck. I kept my debit card reasonably hidden in my bag using it to grab pesos out of the ATM only.

You guys are spoiled! Every other street girl I saw was adorable, a lot of them were gorgeous. I must have circled the block 5 times just being a looky loo! Perhaps that was only because it was Saturday.

I went into Hong Kong it was way too crowded. A wall of sound and humanity. Same with Adelitas. Decided to wait until Sunday, perhaps I would be better suited to the slower times.

My first ever Alley walk I tried to take up a SG, I want to say Kathy maybe? A surprisingly American name. She has green eyes and braces. In my room, she wanted payment up front. I said after (despues) she was adamant, she got into that defiant stance that girls adopt. She went into a tirade of mixed English and Spanish the gist of it is that men rip her off, I tried to respond that she has the police on her side, she was not budging. I asked her to leave. She demanded a tip for walking up with me, it's hard because of heels she says (we took the elevator). I said no. She left, but not before shooting a glare my way that could melt glass.

I felt like a bastard. I was asking myself if I should have just went with it, after all ultimately it's only 20 bucks. I actually kept my eye out for her to maybe apologize and give her 5 dollars or something, I didn't see her again though. I guess I just didn't want to come across as a mark and every warning bell in my head was clanging. I'm sure you fellas will let me know how I could have dealt with that better. So far my trip was starting a bit on the rough side.

I decided to eat. Went to the wrong taco cart, cause I had my streets mixed up, but the spicy shrimp taco I had was pretty darn good. Cheese on shrimp, that's a new one for me.

I circled the block again a bit later, found Daniella, short adorable reminded me of a college crush, don't they all? I like how many of these chicas are dark, then wear bright red lipstick, and have big white smiles, it's actually hot. She was very amenable we negotiated 800 pesos for an hour, she showered, I felt unrushed and she was very sweet. A very good deal gave her a small propina for being sweet and patient, she didn't ask about the money after negotiating, it was implicitly understood that I pay after. Went to bed with a smile on my face, my dry spell was finally over.

    Hi,

I will be landing in San Diego tomorrow morning and driving to the border to park my rental car and stay Saturday night. It has been years since being able to go there and I am looking forward to it. Since I will have some time I would like to get a good massage. Does anyone have some insight on massages?

    Thanks!

    Jim.

I can recomend Namaste Spa, it's almos on the corner of 3rd and Revolucion, right next to a taco place, very clean and professional, also Serenity Spa which runs a $20 dll's special, its on revolucion between 3rd and 4th, but this one is a little difficult to get in because its very cheap. Finally, Vivamex Spa, also on Revolucion between 3rd and 4th this is mi last resort, the girls give a good massage but the installations need to be updated, they are a little old.

    Hope this helps.

It doesn't matter what amount of dollars you exchange, you start saving money immediately when you spend pesos. It is worth the very short time to take advantage of the exchange rate and get some pesos.

500 pesos is 25 $ so its worth the 5 minutes to me. I toss money around like its nothing but I don't leave any on the table.

Sometimes there's a line, and then it might take as long as 2 or 3 minutes. I would pass on a long line since, on my walks, there are always other cambios with tiny or no lines.
Actually the last time I had to wait in line at a cambio for 15 minutes, whereas at BBVA bancomer ATM the wait was less than 2 minutes. Also got the better rate at the ATM by 1.5 peso / $. Planned my trip in such a way that it only took an extra 5 min walk once I got off the shuttle at Centro. But if planning is not your thing, and you are in a hurry, the cambio near HK may be the way to go.
