THE SCENE: I'd read a lot about HK, and I have to say I'd built a pretty grandiose picture in my mind. After you get patted down and enter (there was no cover or minimum) you descend a few steps to the main room. There's a bar to your left (but the meseros will take care of your drinks) and steps up to the balcony to your right. In the middle are first a couple of raised dancing platforms and then a stripping stage surrounded by chairs and with a ring hanging from the ceiling. In the very back is another stage where the infamous shaving cream shows happen, but we'll come to that in a moment.

The girls on the raised dance platforms don't strip. They basically stand there in their club clothes, maybe grind or sway a little and if you tip a dollar, they may (depending on the girl) let you rub their ass or tits, Some get a little wilder, some less.
