I read this article on my way DOWN to Tijuana! I'm am sure that this is not a true end to all mongers. It did portray Tijuana in a BAD light. Robbery, Death etc. We NEED more articles like this by CLUELESS San Diego people who hate Mexico and Mexicans. EVERYONE on these forums KNOW how DANGEROUS and lawless Mexico is! Let them stay home! More for us!

That's the most depressing fucking story I've ever read. Not doing anybody any good to have that posted up on this board. Of course I guess its kind of a depressing place. Anybody thinking it would be a good place to relocate to don't. Tijuana is great for about 48hrs at a time. Anything more and it does start to get a bit depressing.

I was down in the Zona and looking for a place to watch a college football game. I went to all the usual spots and nobody could find the game on TV. I was about to give up and then I was convinced by the door guy at Mermaids bar to come in and they could find the game for me. Mermaids bar not to be confused with Mermaids massage parlor. Anyway this is a nice place to hang out if you don't like crowds. I was the only patron in the bar.

They have nice TV's with direct tv so it was no problem finding the game. The beers were 2 for $4. There were about 6 nice looking ladies in the place just kind of hanging out. One girl was dancing on the pole, I guess for her own enjoyment, since I was the only customer and I was watching the game. Every now and then I would hear someone say something somewhere behind me and all the girls would immediatly leave, I finally figured out they were headed for the line up at the adjoining massage parlor. The DJ came up to me several times to make sure I liked the music he was playing and the bartender spoke some english and was friendly. Normally I would never go in this place, but now I have discovered a great place to watch football and chill.

I have never had any problems with cops in Tijuana. I only visit Tijuana during the day and or early evenings. Tijuana is still safe. But there is to many shadows for the banditos to hide and wait to rob you.

I got stopped by 2 cops at the top of the hill 3 weeks ago. They made me empty my pockets and patted me down, then sent me on my way. It was around 2am they had a truck there with a Mexican handcuffed in the back. I walked over the bridge back to the gate and the CBP officer asked if I was married. Then warned me to wipe the lipstick off my cheek before I get in trouble with my girl! He was grinning from ear to ear.

I know a lot of folks on these forums complain about Tijuana cops. In all my travels in Tijuana I have only been talked to by two cops asking why I was waiting in a hotel doorway. I said I was told to wait for my chica (by her) and I told the cops her name. Never said another word. I even walk To and From the border even after sunset (newbes don't do this).

Now that said / I have more trouble with MY own government with ME a very US citizen. AS gringo looking as can be. By CBP agents. I have nothing to hide. I go to Mexico every week (sometimes more) when they swipe my passport they see it. Still ask stupid questions. Regular ones no problem (where you live etc.) but when I say I'm in Mexico to go to lunch with "my girlfriend" and they start to pry I lose my temper. Like "where did you eat, where does she live" (not being nice just busting my balls.) Some times I just say it's none of your fuckin business and get me your supervisor. Never have another problem after that. Why is it so hard and long to get into your own country and now they are hassling you to get out at the Mexican border. The new "ready pass machines " Will except and read passbook passports but the border a SY will only except the cards. The photo on the machine shows you how to swipe the passbook (with a chip). Something is not right here.

Ok I'm confused, has your opinion of Playboy changed, when we were talking I kind of got the impression you were digging the Playboy. Are you done with the women there and still find it a nice place to stop for a drink? Or what?

Here is how I feel Playboy Bar should be used.

To go off subject for a moment a while ago I started up a conversation with a gentleman riding the trolley one day. Eventually I became a bad influence in his life and introduced him to Zona Norte. I spent a good deal of time instructing him on the do's and don't's of the adult disneyland south of the border. As soon as he stepped into HK his eyes got really big and all his training went out the window. I sat there and watched him get sold the same unopened bag of potato chips 4 times in a ninety minute period. And then as we were leaving a mesero came up to him and wanted to be paid for the condom that the hotel supplied him with, and he was more than happy to pay.

Anyway to get back to my point I believe if you are bringing a friend who is new to the zona or know of a newbie going, I think Playboy should be used as a training ground, kind of like a boot camp. Give the trainee your best advice and then throw them to the hustlers and scammers of the Playboy Bar. If they can make it out of there with there bankroll they are ready to enjoy all the Zona Norte has to offer. A real learning experience.

Playboy is a cool bar but I've never gotten one of those girls to do anything more than ask for a ficha. They constantly complain about not having business but when I offer them a deal they flake on me. Even the meseros agree with me. That place has so much potential if only the management would keep these girls in check. I've also been told that some will try to steal from your pockets while having a ficha. If you are going to ficha you might as well do it in HK to make it somewhat enjoyable.

I usually try to make my way to Thailand once or twice a year. My company is relocating back to the USA and I have to find some alternatives. I am 4 hours from San Diego and decided to make a trip to Tijuana. I parked at the border and paid $12 for parking near the pedestrian entrance. I contacted Tania from humaniplex and she picked me up in her car and took me to her place. She is probably in her 40s, but decent looking. She provided the longest BJ sessions I've had in my life. So I was upset and left the place and headed to Adelita's.

Adelita's was more of a pickup joint / bar rater than a gentleman's club. I was kind of disappointed with the talent so headed down the street to some other bars while avoiding the pesky drug dealers, pimps, and beggars. I happened to come up to one of the ladies standing outside of the bars and she offered her services for $25. We went upstairs and paid $5 for a room. She proceeded to take her panties off and left her top on. We got down to reverse CG and CG, then I asked how much to take her top off and she stated $10. So the top went off and we went to doggy and that was my weakness. She had an onion booty that would make you cry tears of joy. I had a good and quick release. We cleaned up and said our goodbyes. Total damage was $35 to girl and $5 for room.

I found a cab driver willing to take me back to the border for $5 and that ended my night in Tijuana. When I get more time off in the future, then I plan to stay the night in Tijuana. I am not sure of a good place to stay, but will have to RTFF. Have fun!

In my 3 trips to Tijuana I've probably spent 30+ hrs in HK and have never seen or been offered potato chips.

Can someone tell me the prices for the rooms and girls at the other places other than hk, cc and Adelitas. I went to one of the surrounding ones and the waiter was giving me all kinds of prices to take a girl to the room. I know he was hustling me but he couldn't speak English. Do the waitres set up the rooms at the other places or do I just tell him to buzz off and go speak to the hotel clerk for prices.

Which club? Delicias, La Malquerida. Tropical, D&G, all work the same as the ones you mentioned. Negotiate whatever with the girl, pay the room separately at the desk. The prices of the rooms at all but Tropical tended to be cheaper (and dumpier) than Cascadas or Coahuila.
