A friend who was still seeing her the past couple of years lost track of her a few months ago. She's not answered her phone and none of her 'people' have seen her.

I told the guy I would ask here if anyone had seen her in the past 3 months. So anyone see her?

Interesting. I saw her in February, I think. I'd need to go back and check my phone. At the time, she told me she was going to get a temporary visa to the USA to visit a sick (maybe dying) sister. Emergency family compassionate visa, for lack of a better term.

She used to text me regularly, but I haven't had a text since I saw her last. Seems she may have fallen off the face of the earth.

I had went into the map of Tijuana and other places and found that it was in a seriously bad state of repair. People from outside the forum had fucked it up moving all of the places all over the place so they were no longer accurate. Adelitas was actually now located in San Diego according to the map. I am in the process of moving the entire map over to a new Google maps site. I am making this site so that the only person that can change the map is me or anyone else the I set up as a corroborater. The old map was set up so the public could change it and it was so seriously fouled up that it is taking me more than 4 hours to fix it. Unfortunately, I was not the original author of the old map, I was strictly a corroborater so I was unable to change the permissions on that map. The person that set that map up seems to no longer be active on ISG or in updating the map so I am now moving it all over to the new site where no one can make any changes but me or people I designate as corraboraters. I have now finished Mexicali, Los Algodones and Tijuana. The new maps address is below:

I recommend using it from a smartphone with GPS so that you can walk around with it and see where you are going. I have added a few things and updated a few things as well. If any of you are interested in becoming corroboraters so that you can update or make changes to the map send me your e-mail address and I will send you an invite. If you see any mistakes or if you want to add something let me know and I will make the changes on the map. I hope you all like the new, fixed up and improved map of Tijuana!

Across the street from the old police substation. Down the hill from constitution and calle primera on the corner of the alley. You've past it several times. Probably several time in one day. AKA. GROUND ZERO.

Please clarify, when you say that Chicago had these killings are you referring to the famous "Club Chicago" in Tijuana or are you referring to the USA City of Chicago?

Being from Chicago (The US city) and unfortunately living not too far from these areas of shootings and killings I can vouch that sometimes we worry more than we should. It's amazing how I live in a city with such violence yet feel fairly safe there and when I went to Tijuana for the first time I was very worried. But after 2 visits and soon my third I have come to realize it's just a fear of a new place. But I have felt very safe in Tijuana. Even when I walked alone at night (which I will try not to push my luck on) But regardless I think bad things can happen anywhere at any time. Can't worry too much.

On another note, I am probably heading down there over Memorial day weekend. Does anyone know if there are any events that weekend? Or is anyone here going to be there as well? Apart from the typical HK, AB and TB, This trip my goal is to try a civvie bar (Pulgas or similar) and this Nikkis place I keep hearing about. Slowly I want to start exploring more and more of Tijuana. Until I eventually feel comfortable to do it all. Anyone have any other recommendations for a young semi newbie that can speak spanish fairly well to try?

I always hear how DANGEROUS it is in Tijuana and always laugh when I walk down Revolution Blvd. Chicago is far more dangerous than Tijuana and no one puts up a travel ban on Chicago!

The zona was busy. I stopped in AB and finally got to talk to my favorite girl; it was fun. But the rest of AB was slow; the girls missed your fichas for sure. I had one ask where you where, but I did not have a answer.

Here is the story:

TIJUANA- A few minutes ago there was a shoot-out were one person was killed and another wounded.

The attack occurred inside the bar "La Malguerida" [Unpopular] located between callejóand Coahuila and calle Tercera.

As of the moment the male victim has not been identified.

According to the story from several witnesses, a man came to the location, entered and upon locating his victim, started to shoot him at least three times.

After the attack, the subject fled and during his escape shot several times wounding another person.

The murderer was found hiding in a hotel on calle Primera and Revolucion.

Police from different police corporations are at the location and have arrested the suspect.

The area is cordoned off in hopes of capturing the suspect.
