Posts: 124Adding to what Tempe Jon wrote, here's my take on the trip.
Saturday we rolled out of Mexicali around 11am. Had breakfast at McD's and plotted our course to Tijuana. It was hell finding parking. All usual parking spots were FULL, even the po-dunk ones. It took us almost 2-hrs to find one and we ended up at a Mexican Insurance/$$ exchange/$5-parking place that was 3/4 miles from the POE. We have reservations at hotel above Club Hong Kong. I, for one, really liked the room. There was coordinated colors, art deco sink, walk-in glass shower, flat panel TV. It was well worth the $50 (750 pesos). The hotel staff was very friendly and made the stay more enjoyable. The elevators were broken so we had to take rooms on the 2nd floor. It was noisy because the clubs on this strip are open 24/7 and the 2nd floor is where they let the club girls rent their rooms for sex. Between the thumping of the bass and the radio chatter from the hotel staff, I found it hard to sleep. The strange thing about this hotel is that it was one a separate hotel and a separate strip club. The strip club closed down and the hotel absorbed it, and converted it into more hotel rooms. So, in the middle, where the two businesses connected, is weird. It's all full of corridors. Getting from the North end to the South end, is a *****. So, remember which side you are on and enter through there.
Clamslammer met up with us and we all migrated over to Club Hong Kong. Most of the night was spent at Club Hong Kong. The ladies were mostly hotties and I quickly found a gem by the name of Chelsi. A 22yo with the smoothest skin, natural breasts and amazing nips. She asked for $80 for 30mins but I talked her into $60 (800 pesos). I was a little buzzed and still fighting off the FLU-like feeling. It took me a bit longer but I she managed to squeeze it out of me.
Club Hong Kong has some fantastic music, great shows, and the variety of chicas is amazing. There is also a waiter walking around with a bottle of Tequila with a dildo dispenser attached to the length of the bottle's neck. When the whistles start blowing, watch out. He'll try to make you drink from it! . This place is rocking 24/7 and I would have to say that there were at least 70 ladies walking around the 3-story club. They also have several private VIP room that you can reserve for $90 / hr to party in private with your buddies. I expect that to be a great place to bring your 4 buds. 6 chicas, and have a crazy fuck-fest right inside the club.
The street action is pretty impressive. There are all sorts of girls. From old to young, fat to thin, gorgeous 10's and cracked working girl 0's. All of them lure you with the promise of $20 sex. It's the upsell that will pinch you. Extra to get a req'the condom, extra if you want her to be topless or nude, extra for blowjob, extra if you want more than just a mechanical fuck from a robot working girl. This is their job and it's a numbers game. If you speak the language you may build a rapport with them and get more than you expected.
I took several walks around the block of my hotel. We were in the heart of the ZONA. I fumbled through my broken Spanish and was able to make friends with two of them. It was a cold night so I offered gestures of kindness like buying them hot beverages and offering them some candy (borrowed that last one from Granjefe). They kept asking to go to my room but I kept declining stating that I'm just not into mechanical sex. I like sensuality. In the end, one of them offered me a mutual massage and a blowjob for $20 and we played for over 45-mins. It was a little after 7am by then we finished and she said she was going home. I offered to walk her out buy her breakfast. She accepted.
It as a good trip to Tijuana. I learned a lot and it was fun hanging out with Tempe Jon, Granjefe, and Clamslammer.
It was a short $5 taxi ride back to the border crossing. The line was about 350 yards to the gate (or 2 hours) and we opted to take the $5 / pp shuttle to the front. It was a 30min ordeal, but still saved us time. If that pedestrian line is THAT long, it's worth it. You can best judge by just walking along side of the line and seeing where it goes. Once you reach as far as you can go, the shuttle service guys are waiting there. Take them, or walk all the way back to the end.
I've updated my monger map. It can be viewed here: https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=U...mid=1343663535

I try not to post my experiences. Not because I'm totally afraid of blackmail, but more because they are usually unsuccessful or unimpressive.
Before I went to Tijuana, I had contacted a member who told me he would meet me. He had been in the area a few days and was a very well-experienced person, so I was happy to have a guide. I got his phone number and exchanged texts about meeting in Tijuana.
My first trip to Tijuana had been 8 years ago. I had mainly gone here to get dental implants.
I showed up at Tijuana's parking lot outside the border.
By the way, a confusing situation here, there's several parking lots outside of Tijuana. Some of them post "24 hour parking" for $15, some of them simply post parking $10. I took the $10 parking and found out later it was $10 per 8 hours, and ended up paying $30 for staying about 20 hours.
I crossed the border without problems. I texted my buddy, and met him at HK club after getting a room. We chatted and agreed to meet downstairs in an hour or so.
I took a quick walk of the place to see how much had changed. There were a lot less girls than I previously remembered. Perhaps most depressing, the same "schoolgirls" at the corner were there. 8 years older.
Unimpressed, I nevertheless met my buddy and we went in. He told me about a membership and I thought I'd be back to Tijuana pretty often (never really went back after this trip) and got it for about fifty bucks. Turned out I'd wasted a few bucks I'd have saved at the hotel if I'd gotten the membership first. If you are intending to do lots here, get one of those memberships BEFORE you come, as you don't have to pay as muich for the hotel, you get free shuttle to and from the border, one free drink per visit, you get friendlier girls (apparently) , etc. I don't think it was worth it since I only came once, but for you others (who specifically like HK club) it might be worth it. I didn't really care much about prices (just including this info for others).
I had a pretty good time drinking and ogling the girls while my buddy didn't really drink and seemed happy to just watch.
I did have one annoying experience in the club. At one point, wandering around happily lusting after girls, a server started to push me and speak rapidly in Spanish. I got kicked out of HK club! I argued with the door manager and he said patrons wandering around HAD to be holding drinks or they would be politely pushed into buying them. So you have to get used to carrying around a drink, which is kinda lame, but I guess the bar wants you to be buying more and more drinks. Not a very friendly experience though.
I found a few girls who I considered hot as hell. After a long time overseas, I was in the mood for a FULL woman. A tall, big boobed, probably plastic (I'm not good at telling) WOMAN. I found one, a very tall girl. She said $80 and I agreed because. She was just that damned hot. I don't really feel like arguing prices too much when I'm trying to have fun, and it seemed like $80 was reasonable.
I went up with her to the room and it was pretty damned awesome. Great time.
Later I went back down and met up with my buddy. He was cuddling with a girl. He was having a good time. He'd apparently gotten quite a few trips and was settling down with the same sorts of girl. He was totally into a different girl than I was looking at, and it was great fun chatting with him, but I felt like he was having fun with his girl and I wandered off after a bit.
I ended up wandering around about twenty minutes. I met this hilarious old dude who was like a pensioner living in Tijuana. He had apparently settled down to a life of living in the area. He gave me a grand tour, sorta, and bragged about how to find girls of the right type (really cheap easy find SW's). I bought him a beer just as a salute. He was really washed down and obsessed with money like most long-term ancient mongers I'd met. A depressing hint of a life to avoid.
So I wandered into Adelitas after touring HK club a bit more, just to see more variety. I found Adelitas to be pretty lame compared to previous memories. Being pretty drunk I was happy to just relax and wander around checking out the ladies. One lady was particular friendly and pretty darned hot. I asked her if she liked to kiss, since I loved the shape of her mouth, and she gave me a nice little kiss there and said yes. I agreed on the spot to take her up to the room, being in the mood. For some reason, as we got into the room, she demanded the money up front. She started to give me pretty damned rude spirit. Eager to just have a good time, my mood started to change. She gave me a half-assed BJ, refused to kiss me, wanted to turn down the lights, etc, even though I said "Nah, I want this", she would just do it anyways. And I decided to just get the hell out of there. If you aren't having fun, just leave. I yelled at her a bit about giving her a waste of money and demanded some back drunkenly, then realizing I was a drunken ass, I wandered out. $60 wasted.
I headed back to the other club and bumped into my friend who was startled to see me pissed off. I chilled out after a bit, figuring that I'd drunk too much. Then I saw the same chick I saw earlier. I scrambled and got her name ("Mimi") , and hit her up for another trip to the room.
This time it was even better. She made lots of little appreciative sounds. Although she didn't really like to kiss me, it was all worth it from her incredibly hot body. I was thoroughly satisfied with the experience. Afterwards I got her number and she was eager to meet up again. She gave me a sweet kiss on the way out.
I fell asleep pretty awkwardly on the bed, drunk, and woke up too late to enjoy an experience.
I got up and was pretty unsure if I wanted to have another experience. I headed up to the border. I'd enjoyed some aspects of my trip but was having a crisis of conscience by this point.
The border wait was like 3 hours, and then I got the car cost. Meh.
That's my report, and if you have any questions, I might answer eventually.

Can't wait to read about the juicier details in HK!
Surprising that the $5 you paid for the border crossing service was worth it, I tried it before and found it to be a scam especially if it is early traffic and many cars are trying to pass through those lanes as well, that time, I actually got dropped off just before the turnstiles back into US immigration, apologized to 3 angry looking tattooed dudes and told them I was really in a hurry, good thing they turned out to be really nice guys who let me in front of them, hehe.

After our pit stop in Mexicali on Friday night. 2nd Chance, Granjefe and I got up and went to Tijuana. This was my first ever trip to Tijuana. I had been to Nogales, Los Algodones and Mexicali but never the most famous, Tijuana. I had always wanted to go to Tijuana so I finally got to go. I sort of joked with the other two that my mongering trips keep getting farther west. I started out going to Nogales two times and then some people on this board convinced me that that was not a good place to go because it was so expensive. Some other mongers convinced me that I should go just a little bit futher and go to Los Algodones. I went there and liked it but then some people on this board told me how Mexicali was so much better because it was bigger and had so many more opportunities so I should go there and I went there and liked it a lot returning there several times. Tijuana was always on my mind because of course it is probably the most famous place in Mexico, maybe the world for mongering so now I have went there. The problem is now of course there is no where further west I can go! Tijuana has to now be the final frontier. LOL.
The trip definitely did not get started off good. It did get better though. I had read all the advice on this board and other mongering boards about parking north of the border and I even had the address of the UETA parking lot programmed into my Garmin GPS which everyone on both boards seem to say is the best place to park if you are going to spend at least one night in Tijuana. We got there and drove right to it but it was full. We drove around the area and each and every freaking parking lot on the border was full. We did find one that would take us but they wanted $27 a day so we told them to go to hell. We drove around the area for 2 hours in and out of every parking lot to find out they were full. At this point I was getting frustrated and I was at the point where I was going to just buy the Mexican auto insurance and drive in and park at Pepe's parking in the Zona which the Hong Kong Club's website had told me I could park at for free for staying at their hotel. I really did not want to drive into Tijuana especially on my first ever visit and of course with the reputation Tijuana has for car jackings, muggings and whatnot but at this point we were tired of looking for parking spots for 2 hours and I was going to do it. Granjefe and 2nd Chance were not crazy about the idea either. I really did not want to risk driving my fairly nice, sporty, bright red flashy looking car that had the word "Gringo" written all over it with personalized license plates on it and American bumper stickers into a place that was known for trying to do things to American cars but at this point I thought I had no choice. I figured full coverage Mexican insurance would cost about $25, the cost of parking at that crazy expensive spot so what the hell. We pulled up into a place that was a combination Currency Exchange and insuance seller that had a drive up window to buy the insurance. As I was in the drive up lane and after I had gotten my registration and American insurance documents out. 2nd Chance notices and open parking spot right next to the place for $5 a day that had been vacated. I quickly drove through the drive through and into the spot and took it as quick as possible. It was a very small lot so we were extremely lucky to get it as the opening appeared precisely at the right time. We got it, paid for the spot and exchanged some money and we finally walked over the border. I have read many posts on this board and another board about parking spots and I have never seen a report of someone having troubles finding one. From reading these posts I was under the impression that parking was plentiful down there near the border and that I would not need to worry about finding a spot. I found out wrong. When I go back to Tijuana in the future I am going to have to figure out some better way of getting a spot instead of driving around for 2 hours looking for a spot. Anyone have any ideas for the future?
I had a coupon for a free ride to the Hong Kong Club. I had called them up just like they had told me 45 minutes prior and they had said to go to the McDonalds that was by the border crossing. I waited and no one showed up. I called again and all I got was a messaging service and told them to send the shuttle and she said she would leave a message. We waited and waited and they never called back while we were waiting. I was getting a bit upset as we were sitting there in the middle of the most famous city in the world for muggings, pickpocketings and theft with our luggage waiting for the shuttle using my expensive Android Smartphone right in the middle of this. We finally got angry and said fuck it and got a cab for $5. The cab took us right to the Hong Kong Club where I had discounted reservations. We go there and immediately jumped out of the cab and went to the reception desk and said we had reservations. They then sent us to a different reception desk because they could not find them. We went to the other desk and they could not find them. I had booked them under my name. They looked and could not find them but said they had three rooms they could give us. I told them that I had a special, internet reservation rate that I expected to get since I had these reservations. They finally gave us the rooms for the special rate I had been quoted. We finally got all of this shit done and then the good part of our Tijuana trip began. You can read my reports about the rest of the Tijuana portion of my trip in the individual clubs forums (Hong Kong, Adelitas and Club Chicago) as this is where the action occurred. We met ClamSlammer while at the first club. ClamSlammer and I had exchanged phone numbers before the trip as he was going to be in Tijuana too so we kept texting each other until we found each other.
Leaving Tijuana Sunday Morning was a little better. 2nd Chance and I got up and we could not find Granjefe. We knocked on his door and he was not there. We were a bit concerned. We started going around the zona into each club and looking for him but could not find him. One of the security guard from Tropical was concerned too when we told him we were looking and he said we should check the local jails and he offerred to call. We politely turned down his offer because we did not think Granjefe would have done anything stupid like that. He said to come back if we decided differently. We then went back to the hotel room and knocked again and sure enough Granjefe was there and he said he was occupied. At 8 A. M. He had gotten up and found a lady and was having an early morning snack. LOL. We laughed and then 2nd Chance and I hung out at the Hong Kong for a couple of hours until Granjefe was done and came down and we hung out for a little longer and then finally went back to the border catching a taxi libre cab.
When we got back to the border the line to walk in was about 3 hours long. We were not crazy about doing this but we all needed to get back home so we paid a shuttle guy $5 a piece to take us directly to the inspection point in about a half hour saving us a couple of hours. I got through to the immigrations person and it was a really young, sexy lady that was a feminazi that knew exactly what I was there for so she purposefully tried to embarass me in the line. She asked me what I was doing in Tijuana and I said I was partying. She asked me what kind of partying and I told her we were at night clubs. This lady was determined to get me to say in front of all of the other people my true purpose of the trip. She then asked me what kind of night clubs and I said ones with women in them. She asked me what kind of women were in them and I said sexy women. I was getting angry at this point. She asked me how long I had been in Tijuana and I said one night. She asked me if I had friends or family there and I said no. She asked me what hotel I stayed at and of course at this point there was no way around it so at first I tried to keep it low key by saying "Las Cascadas" which is the name of Hong Kong's hooker motel. I am sure she knew what it was but I was hoping the people in line, many of them women and small children did not know. She asked me where the Las Cascadas was and what type of hotel it was. Finally, at this point I got angry and I said "OK fine, you really want the details, I went to Tijuana, partied and fucked prostitutes in the Zona Norte at the Hong Kong Club which is a brothel." I think she was a bit shocked when she heard me get this detailed but when I said that she finally said to "go on" and let me through.
We found our car and then drove to a Chinese Restaurant that 2nd Chance had found on the internet on his Android phone that had Dim Souk (not sure if I spelled that right). I had never been even to San Diego before so I programed the address on the Garmin GPS and drove there. 2nd Chance bought both Granjefe and I this meal (thanks 2nd Chance). Again. 2nd Chance ordered everything as it came of the cart in Cantonese. The meal was pretty good.

Posts: 360I would avoid any unregulated apartment type place. Stay with the places where everyone is legal, and you don't have to worry about being kidnapped. There are enough places to get laid, you don't have to go looking under rocks. Hell, the escort agencies are good too.

i was also told by a local that they are used mainly by high profile clients who don't want to be seen in the zona or pulling into a love motel. hence the higher prices.
other towns in mexico do not have such an elaborate set up as the zona norte so casas naturally spring up.

Does anyone know of any casas de citas in Tijuana? Other cities in Mexico have them. Usually low profile houses with a lineup of girls that are presented to you when you walk in. Prices come with the room paid for, usually 300. 500 pesos for a half hour, the cheapest I found was 150 pesos for 15 minutes.

It does seem like some wall fixtures are not there anymore. Maybe it is part of the normal zona cycle.
Where is country john when you need him? He would know.

What day were you in Tijuana? Monday's and sometimes Tuesday's are a slower. I just wish that the good ones would stick around. I have not been down in awhile. I will go down when the weather cools down a bit.

Posts: 732The exchange rate is 13 Mexican pesos to the US Dollar. Real favorable. There's even exchange casas right in the Zona in case you need change to give the chica and can't break a large dollar bill. Most businesses give both prices when you buy something; in pesos and in dollars.

Compared to May I notice a few less SG's. I haven't seen my two BBBJer's who are like fixtures at their posts. Maybe they just took a few days off.
It is OK down here at the moment but I've seen more action in the past.
The good news is the exchange rate has been holding steady in our favor. That to me trumps anything.
