that 'last day in tijuana' has arrived and i still had a few things on my list. (very few 'birds' out in the street. too damn cold!) first, about 11:00 am it was back to adelitas to set something up with jocelyn, the young hottie i'd met yesterday. she was there alright, but seemed to have the attention span of my cocker spaniel today. all those gfe vibes had evaporated as i chatted with her a bit. seems to happen so often for me with the really cute and extremely young. so i passed and saved my $$ and time for something better.

tried to get into the famous chicago, but it didn't open until 1 pm and was totally empty. a shout out to fellow monger 'super steve' here on this thread for all your guidance. i'll just have to save your favorite joint until next time when i can chase up some poony much later in the evening.

checked out a couple of other places like la gloria (dead) and playboy club (just flat out disgusting, and i've mongered in some 3rd world joints where you needed a delta force team as a wing man) oh, and 'gold something'-all gorditas. finally finished up with a session in chavelas with a 30 yo sporting some impressively large and natural pechugas. she was friendly enough, and for the 3rd time i received a 'completa' with just a simple request, and bbbj at no request. but alas, the final session of my first and very memorable trip to la zona norte was just so-so. but i'm not going to 'biatch' here 'cause it was all good in the end!

i know full well most of what i'm going to say here has been covered elsewhere on this forum, and by better, much more experienced authors than me. but if these opinions assist just one rookie coming to tijuana a little bit, then i feel like i've repaid some of my debt to those who've been so helpful.

1) language. english works just fine, all the ladies really speak the 'language of money'. (see point #2, below). but if you bother to learn a few of the 'pleasure words', like please, thank you and maybe even, 'you are beautiful, baby! ' it will add to your enjoyment and make your chicas a bit more comfortable as well. i speak spanish but i'm of two minds on that subject. i like to make jokes and put the chica at ease, and some of them can be damn funny as well. but man, some of these gals can also talk more than most people can listen!

2) costs. this place can really be fun, but is totally designed to suck money out of your wallet like a dyson on high speed. i didn't bother to exchange dollars, and you could probably save $5-10 dollars a day if you worked at it. but do bring lots of ones for the taxi, the dancers and those always-with-their-hands-out waiters. as good as the sws looked at times, i stuck with the club chicas. for about $50 i got 30 min. of 'completa' attention with finer women than i ever expected, and never paid more $60 at the most.

3) day-time mongering. i was concerned my options might have been limited as for business reasons i could only get down across the border at that time. but while some places like chicago weren't open, most of the clubs were and there were plenty of women. many told me they preferred days and only worked day shifts. i'm sure nights and weekends rock and i'd like to experience that someday, but you'll do fine in 'daylight' as well.

4) wir? or more specifically, would i make tijuana a long distance punting trip? oh he'll yeah, i'd come back in a new york minute given the chance. but as for being a true destination for mongering only, i'd weigh flight costs, etc. my opinion only, but if latin destinations like columbia or maybe the dr are reasonable, there really is no comparison. if you do come down, and especially if you are making multiple border crossings, i wouldn't even bother without a passport. that 'no-docs' line (drivers license only) looks brutal! i'm talking hours long.

thanks, again, to all you guys with the details on tijuana here. if i lived anywhere near san diego i'd be personally responsible for a major chunk of the trade imbalance with mexico, and dead damn broke all the time!

I am going to be in Tijuana Thanksgiving weekend for the first time, would any one like to meet up and hang out. I will be staying on the Tijuana side until Sunday.

A few questions I will need internet connection because I will still have to check in with work over the weekend. Are there any internet cafes in the zone as I don't feel comfortable taking my lap top with me. Also do you pay the girls after or will they insist on payment first, can you just show them you have the money lay it on the counter and let them they can have it after you are finished, will this work. Made my way back across the border a bit earlier today, and found myself in 'La Zona' shortly after 11 AM. I swear there were even more ladies in the street than the previous two days, and a couple were awfully tempting. But I was determined to give Adelitas a close look today.

I went in expecting the place to be smaller than the HK, and perhaps not quite as nice. And yes, as often noted elsewhere, the Honkers sets the standard, but I found myself pleasantly surprised. As also often commented on, it's a bit darker making it harder to assess the selection at hand, and frankly, many probably wouldn't pass muster at the HK, but there were more chicas than I expected as well. It's also probably unfair to make this observation after just one visit, but they tended to be a bit 'curvier' than the HK ladies. I still managed to catch the eye of a very cute little raven haired spinner, just 22 yo. She was damn fine, and giving off some real GFE vibes, and I almost pulled the trigger. But I just couldn't do it as I had something (or someone) else in mind. I did determine 'Jocelyn' would be working the day shift again tomorrow, and she promised 'todo para mi' if I was interested, and for what I thought was a very reasonable '$50.

I was running short on time as I had to head back to 'la frontera' within the hour and hurried on over to the HK. I'll admit it, I was curious if my MILF of day 1 was there. anyway, i decided to keep myself out of the hk club and try some of other joints this time. i wasn't too impressed with chevalias. girls weren't too friendly, nor all that hot. i also didn't appreciate the way the dj paraded every damn dancer around, carrying his mic, and 'demanding' a tip for the chica. i don't mind tipping, but man, these guys and those meseros, 'robe boys', etc, are relentless. como moscas! i slipped in and out of a couple more minor joints, then finally landed in 'tropical'. i kinda liked the vibe, though it certainly was not crowded, there were actually several decent options here. i settled on 'paola', a tapatia milf (sorry ath!) for a little trip 'ariba'. the price was a little less than the 'honkers', and i negotiated 'complete access', though she said she doesn't do this 'very often' (sure, and i'm george clooney's older brother). i will say this, she was extremely tight on the approach, and there was a lot of grimacing involved, but damn if she didn't eventually take it like a champ!

i finished off my day with some tacos from the street cart at the corner of coahuila and ninos heroes, right in front of the 'taqueria 'sherry' where i ate on monday. i believe others on this forum have recommended this place as well, and it was tasty and very busy, always a good sign.

the line back across was all the way past the pedestrian bridge, way past the 'cheese grater' as somebody else referred to it. but it went fast and i was thru in 20 minutes at about 3 pm. one thing i have noticed, and more experienced travelers in the line have pointed out to me, the far left lane, next to the always empty sentri lane, seems to move a little faster.

thanks again hombres, for all the intel provided beforehand. oh, and one last thing. the behind-the-jack-in-the-box, parking spot i mentioned was simply an acknowledgement of thanks to some other monger who'd been kind enough to point it out elsewhere. geez, don't some of you guys know how to take a damn complement?

There's a area in Philadelphia called Kensington that has street walkers who will have FS with you for $30. Trainer your mistake is trying to compare the local market with back home. It does not work that way. Bill likes the Chinese buffet near the Palomar trolley stop in Chula V. Clean, fresh, huge and only 8 bucks lunch with drinks and dessert.

Bill likes to find a free parking spot near the border, walk the half mile to the turnstile, then walk the rest of the way knowing he just saved money for his hotel.

Bill likes the tripa, suadero and buche taco stand for 11p between the 2 Coahuilas.

If Bill is up to it, he will get 2 girls and 4 tacos for 500-600p all in. The conversion comes to $38-$46 US.

Chinese food blows bigtime in Tijuana. Stick with japanese for sure. Right in front of plaza Rio is a japanese joint and also next to la torre de fundadores in a mini mall as U-turn off madero onto aguas caliente.

Living here in Taipei West, I eat a lot of very good, extremely authentic Chinese food from all of the main branches of Chinese cuisine.

I suspect many of the respected members of this board wouldn't know good Chinese food if they tripped over it. Just kidding!

But, seriously, you aren't going to find good Chinese in any sort of buffet, and you sure as hell aren't going to find it in Tijuana. Unfortunately, the chicas don't know that. Going for Chinese is rather a treat to them, and seems to be a frequent request.

Yes, the Chinese in Tijuana is bland, insipid and uninspiring. It reminds me of the crap that used to pass for Chinese food in the USA when I was a little kid. However, it is different from Mexican, thus it's probably a bit "exotic" to the average bar chica.

If you want good Chinese food in Mexico you have to go to Mexicali. The original inhabitants about 107 years aho were Chinese. There is a huge Chinese influence there with over 400 Chinese resstaurants.
