Posts: 446The K tower is a great place to stay. Have stayed there and have stayed in one of the rooms in the Lucerna complex. Very good service. Lot of people speak English. The morning breakfast was fantastic. Not a place for those looking to pinch pennys but affordable for what one is getting. I do suggest leaving the car there and getting taxi. When I would come back there was usually difficultly getting my car parked. To their credit they figured out how to get cars parked for people staying there but sometimes it was not easy.
Do not know how they are about hookers in general. I had my girl there. She was actually on her better behavior in terms of what she was wearing. Did not try bringing another girl there during my stay.

Posts: 140Hotel Cascadas / Rizo de Oro Expansion? (HK & Tropical Bar Owners)
I was in old Zona Norte earlier this week and noticed something new. It had been a cool two months since I had been there, so I don't know if it had been there for a while and I simply didn't notice.
On the North East intersection of Primera and Constitucion, they've demolished the sidewalk and looks like they're demolishing or renovating the space there. There's advertisement of Hotel Cascadas / Rizo de Oro (same business entity that owns Hong Kong and Tropical Bar).
Anybody know if they're expanding? If so, they're becoming a juggernaut of Zona Norte. I've attached pics of before and what I saw earlier this week.

For those who've never been, K Tower is a luxury property "within" the Lucerna complex.

Posts: 3853One Month Hotel Stay In Luxury / Which hotel would you choose?
At some point coming up soon I might want to rent a hotel room for a month at a nice hotel. To be honest I have used the same place for years. Now with Tijuana having so many options I thought maybe stay in one with a pool that allows escorts. Looking for a luxury stay.
Maybe a Marriot or Pueblo Amigo?
Which one would you stay at for a month a time?
I could go from $3 to $5 K for the month.
Have any of you asked for extended stay prices at the Ticuan?

Posts: 446For me and others including a regular who spends more than I do touching is a must. I hope people talking about the touching girls do not like but guys try to force on the girls.
Something else I thought about why street girls do not work in clubs is some girls do not like drinking that much. Had a girl refuse a drink because she did not want alcohol July 4. In June I was buying a girl water for same price as this girl was at end of her shift and did not want more alcohol. As long as I get my standard interview idgaf what she drinks but I am sure clubs put pressure on these girls to drink beer.

That's is why I like to stay at least 2 nights in a hotel most of the time to smooth out the 3 PM check-in BS. Some hotels will let you check in early if the room not occupied the night before.

Interesting how the experiences of Zona Norte change me and my perceptions.
I am away on vacation and normally a $50+ Motel 6 that looks kind of shitty with a rough looking crowd around the property would scare me away. But after spending enough time in Zona Norte and a few hotels around there the Motel 6 didn't scare me away at all.
The good news is nobody is banging on the door after 30 minutes!
The one bullshit thing that seems to have affected all hotels is this late check in time. Like 3 pm! Wtf. You used to be able to check in like at 11 am at hotels in the 70's.
I don't know what changed but it's bullshit now that you rent a "room" for the night but can't get into the room till 3 pm! What bull shit.
Greg.

I see they said it over and over that it is mostly privately funded. I call bullshit and see another pork barrel project.
