I have been to the zone at least 30 times over the last 10 years but always stayed in Chula Vista and crossed daily. I am coming in September from Ohio for a long weekend and am considering staying in or near the zone for the first time. I keep getting emails from Hong Knong about their rooms. Are there any reccomendations from the well traveled gents that contribute to this forum who obviously know a lot more about where to stay than this occasional vistor. Any help would be appreciated. If I am asking in the wrong forum please let me know.

Rosarito actually has a couple decent monger spots. It's not for mongering on a budget but if you want a strip club with an option to fuck the girls at Bada Bing are pretty fucking hot, they have much more of an American look than girls in HK area. So I know the common saying is to not follow guys trying to show you around, but obviously with any rules there is common sense involved, the last two nights I've had Mexicans that lived in the US for a long time and had to come back here to wait for marriage residency and the other just lived for so long that I guess it's like being a resident. Anyway it's pretty nice having a translator and someone that can teach me a couple things I don't know. Even though I'm on a mongering vacation I really haven't been mongering as much as I planned, I actually have been taco mongering more than working girl mongering. Today I did a street girl at like 12 before I headed to Rosarito. Rosarito is a ton of fun, horse back riding, four wheeling, hyperlights. It's a great place to bring a girl down to I'm surprised more guys don't talk about it. I planned to go back to Tijuana earlier but I went down to the bar in Rosarito Beach Hotel and there was this girl signing there and she was so frigging sexy and I liked her voice so much I had my first groupie experience. I'm actually loading a song on youtube right now I took with the DSLR camera. Unforunately I think it was her first night public, they have no CDs or nothing. Finally hit badda bing after groupie movement was over but felt like picking up a girl for real so after a quick stop at another strip club right down the road me and this mexican / semi-american guy went to las pulgas. 3 friggin nights in a row and still haven't picked up a girl there. Danced with plenty but my spanish needs enough polishing without music pumping to make it harder. Gave up there and went to HK Adelitas, got my buddy a SG who somehow let him do greek for free, I had my tacos and called it a night. There's a guy that supposedly has a escort here in Rosarito that's hot tomorrow so hopefully that will pan out otherwise tomorrow night I'm going to pull a girl from badda bing. It's a little pricey but I just like the name of the club, it might not be exactly that but it's close. BTW Rosarito Beach Hotel, not so special. I'm picky as hell and this hotel has tons of things it could do to take it up a notch. Lots of hot little mexicans and mexican / american girls running around everywhere though.

Hey Phordphan,

I got my GOES approval in April or May. Had to go through the background check, interview at LAX, etc. They told me I had to do the whole SENTRI thing separately and go to SD for the interview.
Did the SENTRI thing earlier in the week. What a PITA.
Now you're telling us that now this is unnecessary? Why didn't that dork at the SENTRI office mention this?
Or am I not understanding this government-generated gibberish.

On July 12, 2011, USA Customs and Border Protection (CBP) began issuing Global Entry radio frequency identification (RFID) cards to new Global Entry members (not already in possession of a NEXUS or SENTRI card).
Global Entry members who were approved for the program prior to July 12, 2011, and are not current NEXUS or SENTRI card holders, may login to their Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) account and request a Global Entry card for a $15 card issuance fee. For more information on Global Entry and the Global Entry card, please go to www.globalentry.gov.
The card operates as a SENTRI card for Global Entry members. Global Entry card holders must follow all program rules for SENTRI when using their card at land or sea ports of entry, including having their vehicle registered and inspected prior to driving it in the SENTRI lane. For more information on SENTRI, please go to www.sentri.gov.
The Global Entry card can be used to travel into the United States from Canada and Mexico at the land border using the NEXUS and SENTRI lanes. For USA citizens, the Global Entry card is also a Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) compliant document for land and sea travel. For more information on WHTI please visit http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/va...ready_set_go/.
Global Entry cards are not valid for use to travel into Canada in the NEXUS lanes or at the NEXUS kiosks at Canadian preclearance airports. For more information on NEXUS please visit www.nexus.gov.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This card may not be used at the Global Entry kiosks. Please use your passport or USA Lawful Permanent Resident card.

Posts: 502Just got back from the HK, adelitas area. Stopped in all the bars and checked out all the street girls. Also walked down to purple rain. I have to say this Friday was worst than my last Friday here. It's packed and the girls weren't as good looking. The best part of down there was the tacos then walked back to Las Pulgas with a new buddy I met, probably the best wing man I could magically make appear. Waiting in Tijuana for his probation period to end so his residency from marriage make him a US resident, if anyone knows how the process works you'll understand. Anyway he's a free translator and he's like a tiger on meet he jumps on every single good looking girl in Las Pulgas. I only wish I had him Wed. Because Friday sucks there as much as it does down around HK but I'm told Sat at Las Pulgas is awesome so we'll see what tomorrow holds. Every girl we talked to in Las Pulgas was receptive, but at the same time it's a negative because I would be working my minimal spanish skillls and find out that the girls we're talking to are married. I'd personally prefer to be turned down then waste my time, or another instance this 18 year old girl is dancing wth me for a couple songs and all of a sudden her gay looking boyfriend shows up. There's positives and negatives but I didn't pull anyone out of Las Pulgas and supposedly this guy does it often. It was kind of funny because he's teaching me a bunch of shit and at the same time we went to HK which he's never stepped foot in, I told him don't use tonight to rate the place because it was horrible, very few hotties and a ratio of like 15/1 guys to girls. He told me where he lives which is like 10 minutes east from border the clubs there the girls will give you a blow job in the club for like $20, can't wait to try out the local pleasures he said there's no Americans that go there which is right up my alley. El Cheapo Gringo is in the house!

But it moved quickly, and I was through the whole thing in just about an hour.
Weekends are probably worse.

Posts: 2569Pedestrian crossing wating times?
Does anyone know how long the wait is in the pedestrian crossing around from 4-7pm? I crossed back over in late June / July and people were lined up all the way back past the pedestrian bridge to where the street ends. It takes roughly about a 1 hour to cross.

Posts: 433Bill here reporting on what's important to him.
Good news is the dollar is appreciating.
The Leyva hotel now has free wifi.
For those interested, there is a pregnant girl working out of Monitos who is fair skinned and cute.
The tacos at the corner of Coahuila and Constitution are as good as any in the zona and you can take two of 'them, pile on the complimentary beans, salsa and jalapenos, etc. Ask for a spoon and you have a meal for 2 bucks.
The best value for a roast pork taco has to be at the flea market on weekends. They just pile on the meat and you almost feel guilty for I think 8 pesos each. You will be waiting in line behind the locals.
Did a very hott street girl on west side of Const. Walking down hill before Coahuila. Had to have her sin ropa for 250 plus 50 for the shitty room. Just my type. Slim, taller than average, georgeous face. She let me bend her and take my time and I think I told her I loved her.
Took a regular sg on const. Just south of Coahuila. Brunette, clean, face is average but body is hard and her natural tits are firm as she lets me do as I please. 250 sin ropa in my room.
They had an excellent rock band by the mariachi stage on I think Sunday night. Anybody catch that show? Just caught the last set as it was over about 9:30 pm.

Posts: 502Just got back from New Body, there are 3 gourgeous blondes working there. Most likely fake blondes. But if you like that playboy look these girls blow away anything I've seen in HK. Hopefully one of these days I will give it a whirl.

Posts: 502Unfortunately a lot, and it wasn't mermaids it was Maria Bonita I think. $140 total I barely negotiated, what's even worse is I think I screwed her last time too. I actually was just walking around town and thinking about last night, I wasn't hammered but I was buzzed and really picky. Thinking back there was a girl I wanted at HK but she wanted 80+15 figured I could get her down but still seemed high. But unfortunately after bar hoping all down Revolution ending up at Las Pulgas and being a pussy I ended up tired and wanting a piece quick so went to closest place to hotel. I spent way too much last night so I have to try to pull the reins in a bit if I'm going to make this last a month here mongering. I got a ton done this morning though, finally I know my way around Tijuana so I can walk instead of taking taxis. Everything is a lot closer than I thought. I also got my mexican number this morning so I'm officially a citizen. Ha ha. I got some photos of the walk from Ticuan to HK Adelitas area I will post. Not any girls at 9am worth taking a picture of. Unfortunately I'm using a DSLR camera so don't think I will take that out at night. I like Ticuan more the more I am here, there is a supermarcado a 9 iron away from front door, and New Body I think has the best talent for a MP which is only a few blocks away also, front desk staff is super nice and has cuties working. I'm still trying to contact a couple guys about renting a condo on the beach, if I stay at Ticuan I will only last for about 2 weeks until my you're an idiot throwing money away voice kicks in. The internet is also good enough at Ticuan to use magic jack. 4down1up.
