It is not out of left field- it was in response to your post in another tread-sorry if that was a stretch for you. The info is current, or at least Feb. 2011. Four Todo La Noches (that means all night, FYI).

Don't worry- I will save my breath with you and let you fight with others.

tijuana is a stop in purgatory. there is no other way to look at. it can work for you only if you mold it into something.

i finally found a hotel that i feel comfortable in for $22 a night. it took me since 2001 to accomplish that. now my trips to tijuana are no longer weighed down by hotel expenses. things just got better for me. not to mention i uncover more and more affordable restaurants with really good food.

like you all i am missing in tijuana is a gfe. i had one for a second but she wasn't humble enough in asking for stuff. see ya.
yeah i got a little sense of the usa thing. i was in a nail salon and i asked this cute college girl something in spanish and she replied in perfect english and i was like damn your english is good, and she was like yeah i go to college in san diego. i guess the abercrombie shirt was a give away but i figured they had a couple down in mexico too. i think you will get a gfe no problem, the mall wasn't loaded with girls like other areas but i would try girls working like at the supermarket or what not. now if you're talking about gfe from a club or something that may be harder because of the way the clubs are run. better chance with the massage parlors, i think i almost had one at new body but then i was late to meet another one getting off work at hong kong and when i got back the other one was gone. i was just trying to smush too much stuff in too little a time. i'm going to philippines this week, from the sounds of it it is gfe heaven. i have a couple girls that work for me over there who are already head over heels for me, it sounds like you can pretty much walk up to any girl and they are smitten. even at 60 you can be dating a 18 year old no problem. i might just have to learn to love asians because i'm still going to want 18 when i'm 60 i'm fairly sure.

FYI, many, many of us go to Cr and spend very little in the DR, and are still able to get TLN with high quality chicas for 100. Mabye you DO want to join another board.

I mean how many bars do you know that always have a couple guys drinking at 9AM? I had fun in Tijuana, I just kind of kick myself because for what I spent I would've had way more fun in Costa Rica. I went into less high pressure places but did not like the talent. Also New Body isn't really high pressure I just let myself go a little and probably was with the wrong girl. Still I've say down with girls at Del Rey for like an hour over a drink or two at normal prices and then sessioned or told girls I didn't want to session but if they were hungry I'd buy dinner and we grabbed a bite. Like to me that seems like a better way. These places are a lot more like the strip clubs in Costa Rica which I have been in, but never go back because of exit fees. I think having an apartment in Tijuana would be great because you could set yourself up a little GF to take care of things, things being you. I still think the potential for a normal GF there is very very high, and think using HK and places like that as self esteem boosts would make it a very good place. To me I love the idea of going out on a date with a girl and if I don't get anything going to Del Rey and just screwing some hot columbian or something like that. It makes for the perfect scenario, and I think not often enough to guys take advantage of it. In my observations you can pick up a girl 2 notches higher than you could normally pick up a girl in a latin country. I'm sure I will be back in Tijuana again.

Tijuana trip Thursday the 30 th

I made my monthly trip to Tijuana. I won't cover all the details since all the trips nowadays seems to be following the script of my previous reports. Hang around the usual clubs for an hour or 2 then head over to Las Chavales meet up with GF type buy her 5 0r 6 of those MF'and lady drinks and at 8 pm when she gets off head over to Las Pulgas where she can have some reasonably priced man size beers and dance the night away. She loves to dance and drink and she has been a blessing she seems to always have a good time and alot of fun to hang with.

This night was a bit different than the other nights as we were leaving we ran into Roberto a waiter I knew from hanging at at La Tropical Bar. He was just getting off work and we invited him to come with us over to Las Pulgas. He said he never really goes out drinking or dancing all he does is work. But he said he would give it a try. It was great to ahve Roberto with us, Roberto is fluent in English and Spanish and it really helped to finally have a translator along on our date. By about 2 in the morning we were all pretty buzzed exept for Roberto he was extremely drunk, we left and put Roberto in a Taxi and headed to my GF's car. As we were walking down the sidewalk all of a sudden here comes Roberto. Apparently he got into some kind of argument with the cab driver and now he wanted us to get him home.

Now the first time we went to Las Pulgas we took cabs to get around and I did buy her a few shots of Tequila but since the Tequila made her so drunk she could hardley walk I made sure NO tequila if she was driving. I have come to trust her driving even under the influence. She is pretty much on auto pilot and get from Las Pulgas to the Motel on the other side of Tijuana no problem. However this changed the equation no we had to get Roberto home. It was a nightmare we were driving the wrong way on one way streets, Roberto was having trouble remembering how to get to his apartment. We finally got him home and we were going to head to the Motel exept she was lost. It was like being on a bad amusement park ride. The streets are not marked very well but when I would figure out we are going the wrong way on a one way street I would try to tell her but she seemed clueless. And then it happened we passed a police car we were going the wrong way on the one way street, he turned around and pulled us over. All my Mexican nightmares flashed into my head she was going to jail Maybe I was going to for drunk in public or maybe I would just be stuck there no clue where I was. But guess what this is Mexico after her pleading with him for a little while she handed him ten dollars and our problem was over we were free to go. Wow just imagine if this was the USA driving drunk the wrong way on a one way street and just missing a police car. Certainly you would expect some jail time and costs of a couple thousand dollars.

So after that everything went back to the usual script made it to the motel had a great night and headed to the border around 11 a. M. There was a long line but it moved pretty quick ended up being about an hour wait.

So my next trip is going to be later in July for her birthday. If anyone has any ideas on something I can do to make her birthday special let me know. I am pretty sure I will get a room at Hotel Ticuan, since it is conveniently located right behind Las Pulgas I just don't know about the Jacuzzi suite since MAD GUY reported a smell coming from the Jacuzzi.

Oh yea one more thing I would like to add an advertisement for Roberto if anyone is going to La Tropical Bar and you would like a good honest waiter make sure you find Roberto, he works the day shift untill 8 pm It has been said on here many times Las Chavales and Tropical Bar are good places to go to find GF types, but the main drawback is you should speak basic spanish. Roberto speaks perfect english and he is more than happy to help with translation. You won't have to worry about him pulling the potato chip scam or short changing you. Just tell him Hugo recomemded him and don't mention this site specificly.

    Safety in Mexico

Safety is a primary concern when I go to Tijuana. On Sunday I'm headed to San Antonio for business on Tuesday. Have never been to Nuevo Laredo and reading never made me comfortable with that town, but was planning a Monday trip to see the sights. Hadn't yet figured out what's available and where to go. This article has changed my plans. If this happens in Nuevo Laredo, it could happen in other border cities.

    http://www.cnn.com/2011/US/07/02/mex...html?hpt=hp_t1

"Texas authorities are urging residents not to cross into the Mexican border city of Nuevo Laredo during the Fourth of July weekend because of intelligence that a Mexican drug cartel plans to target USA citizens."

Hello, Party God. Happy to hear that I was able to help out. I visit ISG quite often to see what's happening with you guys, looks like you're getting along quite well. I live in Tijuana, have a business here, and things are going well. Thanks for asking.

nice to hear you had a great session.

you can look forward to the san ysidro border crossing being more of a pain in the ass than a whiny bar girl. they'll be shutting down the left side while work goes on at various times, making the trip back by car a huge problem during peak times.

i cross at otay now. it's faster. if you go and do not have any of the speed passes, stay in the far right lane (not the sentry lane).

I can confirm what the past two ISG brothers have said, a Mexican national was shot by CBP. I was advised it took place across the river from Purple Rain. RIP.

Last night, going into Tijuana, all was tranquil. Nothing unusual. In fact, the traffic was light. Did not see any police or mil activity.

Spent the night at AB. Took Room 303, which is at the top of the stairwell, and facing the street. Hooked up with Angelica, a gal I have know for almost 4 years. Good session, approx. 1 hour. BBJ, and then some. Damage, $60, plus one drink. With her, I always request 30 min. ; however, we often go beyond that. Nice gal.

My plans to spend two nights were cut short, due to work. This morning, before heading home, I had a Continental breakfast at Monte Carlo restaurant. Entry back into US took approx. 40 minutes. The line began at the coffee shop Volea.

Looking at the expansion taking place on Mexican side, already there is a completed over pass. How quickly they work! On USA side, there is now a massive crane in place to do some serious work.

You might already know this, but a migrant was shot by Border Patrol, at about 7:30 PM or so, and they shut the whole area down.

Don't know about a gun fight; however, three bodies were found in the morning. All were executed.

"Minutes after 06:00 hours today, officials traveled to the colonial streets of Amparo Sánchez, La Presa, belonging to Tijuana, Baja California. They discovered three men executed." El Blog Del Narco.

May get hot this week. Stay low, stay fast. I'm headed down there on Weds. Or Thurs. Will report back.

The taxista could be full of shit. Remember, the border crossing is undergoing major expansion. That is, on both sides of linea. It is a joint (US/Mex) $630 million expansion. Interestingly, we pick up $577 millon of the tab.

Already, the walk back to my usual CONUS parking lot is 2x as far. The old bridge is closed. As the project progresses, it will affect our usual transit patterns and/or methods into the Zona.

Official GSA info on expansion can be found here:
