Thank you, made me confident enough that I didn't have to cut my trip short to rush back to the border. Ended up leaving the Zona at 12:17 and walked right through CBP with no line, and was on the last train back which pulled out of the station at 12:47.

No problem. Yeah, there's typically little to no line around that time.

While the trolley does run until 12:45 the last trolley leaving the border is packed to the gills with every meth'the out homeless person in the area. I'm a big guy who looks like he can handle himself but even I was a bit sketched out. The car I was in had me and two CBP guys who had just gotten off duty and then about a dozen homeless who had taken over the end of the car and looked like they were setting up camp for the night. I was nervous enough about it that I ended up getting off the train about halfway to downtown at the well lit park and ride where the CBP guys had parked and then getting an Uber the rest of the way.

LOL. I guess I can see how some of those homeless can be intimidating, and many of them do have mental health issues, but 99% of them are harmless in my experience. Never had any issues with any of them in all my years going down to Tijuana. My thought is worst case, you could've simply gotten out of the car you were in and moved to the next car at the next trolley stop if you were that uncomfortable. Don't think you necessarily needed to abandon the trolley altogether for Uber, LOL. But glad you overall had a positive experience down there.

Mxico, all the major cities in Mxico blow away MDE, maybe Bogota is a little better than MDE. MDE is one of the most overrated places I have ever been. Terrible food, crime, lots of drugs, way too many sex tourist, also many of the girls have horrible attitudes. I love the Mexican girls. Stick with Tijuana, you guys do not realize how good you have it.

The food in Tijuana is incomparable even to what we have in the US. Would love to check out MDE at least one time.

Medellin or Tijuana guys?

Mxico, all the major cities in Mxico blow away MDE, maybe Bogota is a little better than MDE. MDE is one of the most overrated places I have ever been. Terrible food, crime, lots of drugs, way too many sex tourist, also many of the girls have horrible attitudes. I love the Mexican girls. Stick with Tijuana, you guys do not realize how good you have it.

Really? I've read that BBBJ and GFE in general isn't standard in Colombia which uh really reduces my interest.

I wish I got paid for promoting Colombia. Hahaha Of course in any given situation, ymmv. But in my experience, both are the norm in Medellin. In fact, it's the GFE that is the biggest draw. In many settings, the girls don't even negotiate time. I've had to ask the girls to leave more than once. In fact, if I was to put a negative spin on it, BBFS is not uncommon. While some like that, it's a step too far for my personal comfort.

That is a very fair point. English is scarce in Medellin. I am certainly not fluent but speak and understand enough Spanish to get by, for sure. If I spoke zero Spanish, I'd still have a good time in Medellin. But if a monger is intimidated by the language barrier, I understand. I was going to go back to Rio but I found the language barrier difficult. I learned minimal Portugese before my first trip. But I found it more challenging when you speak virtually no Portugese.

Last trolley from San Ysidro I think is a little before 1 am, not midnight. And they start back up aroud 4:30 am in case you miss it.

Yes, taxis and Ubers would definitely be available if you miss the last trolley, especially taxis as they are aware of the increase in demand given that the trolleys aren't running at that time. Have no clue on the pricing, though I'd assume Uber would cost more than usual at that time.

I hadn't been in a couple of years, my takeaways from this visit were:

Hong Kong still has the hottest putas and was busy when I got there at 8:30, but by 10:00 it was so packed you couldn't get a seat and it was too hot for me.

Tropical was less crowded, had a decent selection a few that did not meet my standards offset by a few diamonds in the rough, but my lack of Spanish made it a challenge to communicate with the girls I talked to.

Chicago was busy and had girls many of whom were close to on par with Hong King's offerings. Spent a great hour in a booth right next to the jacuzzi show making out with a hot little thing from Mexico City, but ended up very surprised when she eventually told me she doesn't go arriba.

Street girls are still a great value, had a fun 20 minutes with a cute little (significantly under 5 foot but with a tight but proportional body) thing who said her name was "Meeechel". Had a better session with her for $40 than some I've had with Hong Kong girls for $100 or stateside escorts for $300-$600.

I live in the west coast. Every time I plan a trip to Colombia and the intricacies of flying out there Tijuana traps me with its simple access and I always ended up there. Now my chances of flying and being in Colombia is a once a year opportunity and I doubt I will ever go there.

Do yourself a favor and visit Medellin. I'm a fan of Tijuana and I'll be back there in a couple weeks. And you are spot on about convenience if you're west coast. But the levels of service are night and day. That can be a little subjective, of course. And if you are more of a wham bam kind of monger, Tijuana may be sufficient. But I'd recommend you take a trip just once. I fell hard. LOL.

I just got back from 7 weeks in Thailand. Why 7 weeks? Because it's cheap enough that I can afford to take that ammount of time off work without pay.

Rent a condo get GFE service for next to nothing. 28-60 US average price for short time from most freelancers more if you're looking for bar / gogo stunners.

I just don't find good value in Tijuana anymore but don't get me wrong it is a nice distraction when work keeps me busy enough that I can't travel to other more economically.

By Tuesday things were fine in fact Monday was the big flood day out here. Billi9ns of gallons sewage untreated flowed into ocean though from Tijuana. But the hotel in Tijuana was fine and yes you smelled shit on Tuesday as soon as you walk I to Mexico I thought the person on the 12 peso bus to revolution had sat in shit till I realized everywhere smelled of shit even the beach on Tuesday in San Diego you could smell the shit.

That makes complete sense why over the decades they have called Rio Tijuana the shit river sending all the poops into USA. But basic, small homes that were flooded in Nasty City still valued over $600 K WTF!

I believe this move is going to be into Monterrey. These two companies are going to be the biggest car exporters from Mexico to the rest of the world in few years. With that follows a large and complicated supply chain employing hundred of thousands of labor workers.

The question I have is would this make any dent in the flaw of sex workers that flock in / out Tijuana?

I know a regular BG of mine who lives in Monterrey, I asked her about it once, she said she heard about it and like to look into it further. She didn't seem to be enthused.

By the way the Mexican economy was one of the better performers of 2023. Lots of positive things going on in Mexico.

Never been to Medellin but there are convenience benefits to Tijuana (literal walking distance from the US, large percentage of chicas and other workers in the club and hotels being sufficiently bilingual, acceptance of US dollar) that Medellin and some of these other desinations will never have.

For what it's worth, Maxifort is my favorite. Works well and for whatever reason, the side effects are not as harsh.
