Posts: 14US Bridge Closed - "Tuesday through Thursday 2am to 5am"
I searched the forum and could not find anything with bridge and closed.
This Thursday 8/15, I parked at the Jack in the Box as usual at 8pm and walked toward the US east side bridge to cross over to west side to enter Mexico though the turnstiles. The Border Patrol/Customs guy that usually guards the exit to the downstairs tells me bridge is closed and I have to go around. This means walking north west 3 blocks on San Ysidro Blvd across on Camino de La Plaza (west 2 blocks), and then south 3 blocks south on Camiones Way. I think this is almost as unsafe as walking to the Zona with uninsured motorists flying around not caring about pedestrians and lots of bushes for muggers to jump out from. And I'm still in the US!
On the way I pass a taxi next to the Jack In the Box that offers a $5 ride to the west side. I guess that would be more appealing if I had 2 or 3 friends with me, but I wasn't going to pay for a 3rd taxi.
Finally I get to the other side and I see the other entrance is also locked down, closed with a permanent sign that says Closed: Tuesday through Thursday, 2am to 5am. You would assume with a sign saying that, the bridge would be open at Thursday 8pm. Nope the customs & border patrol agents can't even figure out how to post a sign with correct hours. (Thursday 5am was 15 hours before I attempted to cross.)
Anyways Zona was standard for early Thursday night during this recession. Nothing special, nothing crazy. AB and HK are still as good and safe as ever. Thursday the good fresh batch arrive around 9pm. Any earlier is definitely hit or miss.
Good luck

Also, if you look at your previously referenced article, you will notice how precariously close the unconscious victim's head is to the concrete pillar. I can guarantee you one thing that it was not carefully placed there with precision but dropped there in contempt. If your head hits a solid object as such, you will suffer a concussion at best and a broken neck at worst. You do not want to be fu_king around when it comes to your head.
I am not trying to come off as some doom and gloom type individual. Out here in Monterrey, MX, I see or feel nothing different in regards to safety compared to last year even though business is universally down 25-30 percent(YOY). In fact, I would strongly recommend any guy that can take six months off to do so as I have never seen better conditions in regards to P4P in the four times that I have lived here in Mexico. I am positively and unequivocally getting the absolute sh_t fuc_ed out of me right now.

Posts: 194I went with a wingman arriveed Friday night. Traffic really sucked getting there from 5 miles North of Oceanside to just after the fairgorunds. We arrived at about 7:30 cab to the Hotel, and walk to the Zona.
We first take a stroll through the alley. It seemed that there were more women out than usual, with some very hot bodied young things. As usual I don't have the b*lls to pull the trigger, although with how hot some of the laides were it will be soon.
First stop Tropical so the wingman can get in on the 2-1 beers. Some decent looking ladies (all hooked up), and the music is blaring, so we leave.
We next head over to Chicago Club. I see a favorita that I haven't seen in months, and siting with her is another Gringo who had written he would be there. We have a drink, and leave so the guy could be with her if he chose, and said we would meet up later. Not many people in the club, but some nice looking ladies for the small amount there. For those of you who are into Asian's, she was in Friday night.
Off the Adelitas. I have never seen it so slow in Adelitas, not many women or mongers, even hottie corner was bare. We have a drink and head out to Hong Kong.
Hong Kong was packed. The vibe was rocking, with probably 50-75 girls, and mongers galore. My wingman score with a hot spinner, who later was in the lesbo show.
We head back to Chicago Club, and I meet up with the old favorita. We go arriba for a GFE experience. She has another gringo on the line so I say bye bye, back for a quick walk through Adelitas. It was the same scene.
On to Las Chevlas. The wingman and I are the only Gringos in the place, and it is busy. Soon one of the ladies in the club comes up and asks me to dance. Off we go, no chemistry so go back and sit down. Wingman leaves to go to HK, so now I am the only Gringo. No problem, a senorita is eyeballing me, and soon comes over. I would say 6-7 in looks. We talk (a very loose interpretation of our conversation), and soon go arriba. First non-shaved P4P lady I have been with. This woman loved sex, and another GFE session. I go back inside for a couple of drinks, and then decide to go back to the hotel. Walk outside and it is daylight. I look at my pocket watch and it 7:30 AM, and walk back to the Hotel.
We meet to check out at noon and walk to breakfast at Nelson Restaurant in the Nelson Hotel. We stroll to the alley and the wingman hits up a young thing with a bod to die for. She says $20.00, and yes sin ropa. He decides to pass, but she is definately on my radar for my first street session.
Back into Hong Kong, and the infamous Salma jumps on me. The wingman pulls a hot lady dancing on the bar in front of him (says it is her fifth day, which is true because of what she asked Salma), and we are both off to arriba. Salma is her usual "what do you want, does it feel good", and a good session.
We walk back to la linea with virtually no wait, and back home.
A frist for me three BBBJ's with no negotiations, and all three GFE type sessions (6-8's). My last trip it was about hard bodied spinners (8-9's), and the session, while O. K., lacked the intensity of this trip.
I also understand that some of you may want to rip on me for walking from the Zona to Ave. Revo. Yes, there are risks involved, but not only is my head on a swivel, but I will actually stop several times and turn around. I stay keenly aware of the situation. If something does not appear right, I step into the street and let the possible situation go by, or cros the street. Thoughts from this trip. Adelitas was as slow as I have seen it in a year, most other clubs had about the same amount of women, but far fewer Gringos. There were more street girls, and some real stunners.
I will be back next weekend with another group fo three-four guys.
Health & happiness to all.

Posts: 603LAPD stopped using choke hold years ago
Due to too many deaths and law suits the LAPD stopped using choke holds. It is just a matter of time before some gringo is either put into coma due to lack of oxygen to the brain or flat out dies. Losing your money, ATM card, passport, car & house keys, shirt and shoes is one thing but is it worth losing your life? To save $5 on a taxi in and out?
Until we hear different (that is until a task force removes these vermin) don't be walking up or down the hill on Constitution, Ninos Heros and by all means do not walk from the clock on 1st over to Ninos Heros or even to Constitution.
The street girls in those areas can either move down the hill or pay the cops to remove the vermin.
Link below very informative as to why LAPD stopped using the choke hold.

Posts: 62On my last trip to the zona, I spent 2 nights at the Fiesta Inn and cabbing back and forth from the hotel to the zona. I was very lucky not to encounter any muggers or rateros. I limited my movements from the zona to el arco and up and down revolution and only in the day time. At night I stayed in the zona and only moved from AB,HK, and the alley.
I am considering going to the zona tommorow as I'm off for 4 days. In your opinion with all the muggings is it safer just to cab to the AB bar and stay in the bar rather than hit up a paradita?
It seems like they are targeting those intoxicated by alcohol and gringos. I'm a big guy and it's usually a deterrent as I used to be a professional wrestler and I still have a lot of that size on my frame that guys with bad intentions tend to stay away because of the fact that if I got in a shot or two they'd be stunned.

I remember when the federals used to hang out on the corners in packs of two or three. That would stop the muggers from having an escape route.
Guess taking your shoes will prevent you from chasing them.
Still everyone on those businesses know this is happening and its hurting their income. Why do they not each just pony up a little money and pool it together to hire security? Security at the corners in packs of two or three will stop them from trying to mug people. How much would it cost each large business..200 -300 pesos a day max? Smaller ones 20- 50 pesos ? Less than one customer spending at their business. They would easily make that up with more costumers .
Alley has the camera but security on the two corners of Constitution Ave would have an effect on all businesses in the zona. Used to love seeing the cops standing there.

TIJUANA. - Tourist, and citizens that they go to the bars of the North Zone and of first picture of the city they are being victims of assaults and in risk of until being killed a known hands of mafi ace like “chineros” and “tapemen” who operate in this zone, without the authority he can put them after the grates. A victim of these criminal bands, who by security prefi ere to omit its name, denounced to Voice Citizen the form in which operates these delinquents, sending individual videos of the moment at which they commit the illicit one. The “chineros” are subjects that rob the properties, the money and until the shoes and the clothes. They hold behind to its victims of way surprise, and they implement a “key Chinese” to the neck, of he is that them there it knows so with mote. These bands operate from the area of the monumental clock, in the avenue Revolution, the street First and Constitution, Coahuila alley, as well as in the Young Heroes, and street Second, that is to say, they maintain a boundary of being able in all the Zone Center without nobody it puts a stop to them and commit his assaults in view of all. At least 5 bands exist, reveals the denouncer, the one of “the Panda”, “The Fat person”, “the Iván”, “Moralillo”, “the Flacoman”, that is dedicated to assault to those who leave the bars or they go by the services of one sexoservidora in the Coahuila street. The “tapemen” on the other hand, called thus to snatch the chains, even, they operate in the neighborhood of the Cathedral, was denounced, and have detected in criminal action two-way that they snatch the purses to the ladies, while they walk by the street in this area. In the sent videos, it is revealed modus operandi: two subjects, firstly, they watch and they study his victim, almost always people in state of intoxication they are the perfect target. The unwary ones are chosen, preferably, in the area of the monumental clock, they are persecuted cautiously by the delinquents, who they hope that its “prey” arrives at the street First and Constitution, so that it lowers towards the Coahuila alley. There, at the precise moment at which this one - her victim approaches to a sexoservidora, they decide to act. While other two subjects are close of the victim, those that came behind, they quickly attack it by the back. They hold it of the neck they drown and it stops to debilitate it and asfi to xiar it, which causes that the person falls without sense to ground. At those moments the other two subjects that they were close they conduct battle and they, in a matter of seconds, they undress the victim of the portfolio, clock, shoes, and articles to dress. The assaulted person is distance in the ground without air and in danger that asfi xie, while the delinquents flee without nobody can stop them. It is very common that these attacks they happen at night or in the dawns, outside of the bars without Municipal police can come up crimes. Even, they denounce that the elements of the Municipal Police - some times colluded with pelafustanesni at least they put with these bands, it is only a special group of the Police the one gets that them to stop. Nevertheless, to the being taken before Public ministry, the lack of the denunciation on the part of the victim generates that these rowdies leave free, in two or three weeks, and return to streets to continue berthing more people. Although the first picture of the city, is a sectored zone by the Municipal Police, the “chineros” and the “tapemen”, operate with total impunity. The assaults are committed against “paraditas”, but they from fear of to be attacked by these bands they decide to shut up, not to denounce the facts, that in many occasions, it is called on to them to be present at.

Ninguno Especial helpfully posted a link to a newspaper story describing the conduct of rateros in the Zona Norte:
http://ed.grandiarioregional.com/imp...%20TIJ_16A.pdf
Unfortunately my Spanish is not good enough to understand it, and it appears to be a scanned PDF so I can't copy the text in order to paste into an online translator.
Can one of our Spanish speakers translate this please? Doesn't have to be word for word. But the gist would be nice.
Thanks in advance,
Bunky

If you have been walking in best re-think and take a taxi. What few police are in the area are paid off by the muggers. Too many deportees from USA are dropped at the S.Y. entrance to Mexico (TJ). Several gang members have re-grouped to form gangs in TJ. Broad day light attacks even on gringos in pairs so a wingman doesn't mean shit these days.
Link below photos taken at NW corner of Constitution and Primera (top of hill). Rule of thumb do not walk South of the alley but the muggers are now slipping into the alley and lower part of Constitution so be extra careful there as well.
Best to walk between the alley and Coahulia by way of Las Chavelas or Hong Kong.

This reminds me of one my previous regular chicas. She would tell me that I should go with another girl when I was the slightest bit hesitant on going upstairs with her. That she would be okay with it. I always admired her for caring enough to help her co-workers make money as well. She was never pushy like many of the other girls either. I usually ended up choosing her anyways. Would give a nice GFE.
