I don't just think you will not, I know for sure you will not every time (maybe 50/50).

It works days, nights, weekends. You may and may not be able to strike a good bargain during busy periods, but using pesos, at a roughly 10:1 rate, will net you better deals, no matter what.

And, yes, with practice, you can get some semblance of GFE for your $22. It's still a buyer's market.

It takes me roughly 2 hours to drive to the boarder and 2 to come back.

This won't work on Weekends I bet, only during the week and not on Friday because less tourist means less chances to make money and in this trade ladies tend to take whatever they can get and make it up later in the week.

It's not up to the cops to enforce the health card requirement. There's a city agency Municipal Medical Services SMM in spanish that does that. The cops provide back up when the inspectors come around.

I had no idea, thank you for the info. I think my premise was based on the fact I've seen cops asking a woman for the card. But I think it was just because she was a sure bet not have a card -from the States, in her 50s, and unfortunately, an obvious drug user.
