I have moved all of El Tijuanense's dark and ominous reports of the scene in TJ to a new thread:
http://www.internationalsexguide.inf...ead.php?t=2966
I don't know what El Tijuanense's real agenda is, but apparently it isn not to encourage guys to visit Tijuana.
If you want to continue talking about and listening to these obvious scare stories, then please do so in this new thread.
Additional reports in this "Tijuana Reports" thread emulating El Tijuanense's past reports will be deleted without comment.
Thanks,
Jackson

i was apprehensive because as of friday 500 police officers were replaced by federal and military. but i figured that the mob now has more manpower to police their zone.
upon entry into mexico, i noticed that there were substantially less tourists. most crossing were natives. upon arrival at adelitas, there were substantially more police presense who usually patrol in tandem or trios. in fact, it was impossible to not see the police if you're outside. there was a strong police presense.
chicago. dead as usual as of 8pm.
adelitas. business as usual all day. i did not notice a drop off in girls. but there were far less men, which made it more tolerable since the weekend crowd often makes it almost unbearable. as far as eye candy goes, this place has the prettiest girls with many dressed in club wear which is my personal preference. but there were also many in "fuck me" outfits, the "catholic schoolgirl" outfits, and the "i have an obvious bikini wax" outfits. prices are $60 +12 but will increase if you abnormally large, smelly, obnoxious, or drunk.
hong kong. business as usual, but they've now added a multiple-girl chocolate lesbian show in addition to their notorious dual-girl lesbian cream shows. entry is free until 7pm where a purchase of a drink is mandatory before entry. it's actually a good idea since it acts as a crowd control. i don't mind paying for a drink if it keeps a freeloading joe-john-jerry from rudely blocking my view of the stage. the girls in there are slutty as always, with many walking around topless. in fact, you can basically gently pull down any top you want for a preview. exception. not the very-very young looking girls with sashes. they seem to be girls in training since several almost fell off the bars when attempting to spin on the poles. seems as though management is offering them a try-out position to see if they like it. they generally don't go upstairs. but one did wink at me while pressing her tongue to her cheaks to hint a bj. i passed because they seemed ****d.
food. i ate at the restaurant adjacent to adelitas. ordered the beef soup and fish in garlic sauce. since it came with tortillas, it was essentially a 4 fish fajitas meal. cost $6. 50. a little heavy on the salt as most mexican dishes, but delicious.
charity. i also gave 1 old lady, 2 mothers with child (hopefully not borrowed), and an official mexican salvation army worker who were pandhandling a dollar each. i feel like a selfish bastard if i don't. i just hope they weren't the dollars i stuck in the hk stripper's pussy that was later returned to me after purchasing a drink.
overall. i give this vacation a 10 out of 10. i would advise all tourists to this fine destination to really enjoy the land. in other words, womanize and hoar. but also eat and give some to charity. i think you'll return to the us more satistifed and happy for what you have instead of bitching about a teethy blowjob.

I recomend going to the ATM to take out Pesos. The exchange rate for today Nov 22, is 13. 9 Mexican pesos per US$1, and the ATMs give some of the best exchange rates but just make sure you use a safe one (to avoid the scams). Caliente on Revolución has security everywhere and a safe bet.

Now, going forward. I think that I have read enough good comments to know 100% that there will be no money transfers. I think it sounds so obvious, but daddy's brain operation is a real tear jerker.
Thanks for responses

After the airport I took advantage of being in Baja passed by AB then Ensenada and watched the Baja 1000 start. Such a good day, or really like 36 hour period.

Posts: 159Yes the dollar is real strong against the peso right now, sadly due to the US economic crisis as Mexico is the US number one exporter.
I was just in TJ the other day and the exchange rate is in the highs 1300's to the dollar, but depending where you go, you get a little bit less, something like in the 1330's, and then when you want to change it back again into dollars, you get high 1200's, so it's best to use up everything you get, and perhaps use the ATMs to get the best rates of exchange.
For example I have done about 4 street girls my last few trips and all of them accepted my 200 pesos( around $15 dollars) even if they try to up sell me for another $5 dollars, I give them 50 pesos( about $3.50)
I did a BG for 600 pesos last trip again about $45 dollars if you were using dollars. Now some of the girls won't go for this, they know you're getting a deal, and if anybody deserves a deal, it's them, so they will insist on dollars, or instead of 600 pesos perhaps 800 pesos. For these girls, perhaps you can split the difference and make it 700 pesos and you both come out ahead?
Same thing with taxi driver. They don't want to turn on the meter, and charge you $5 dollars. You instead of arguing take out 50 pesos, give it to them, and for you it's really about $3.50 dollars.
So yes it's a great advantage to exchange your dollars for pesos....you'll be able to take advantage of the exchange rate most of the time, but not always. Hong Kong is one bar that doesn't give a shit if you use pesos, they will just charge you more pesos, but most places and most girls you willl get a better deal using pesos.

You might also find that the girl wants nothing to do with pesos, she'll negotiate in dollars.
If you're no good with Spanish or don't understand the currency then stick to dollars. (gold) When the dollar gets to 15 pesos (Plata) then deal in pesos for sure.

You just need to show patience.
It was pretty thin last night in Hong Kongs. I went to see my regular girl and glad she was their, cause pickings were slim.
I did drop my jaw at a SG last night while eating a Carne Asada Casadea at the corner of the Alley. OMG! Even the hombre at the stand was drolling.
So YMMV! If I wasn't finished. I would have been tempted she was awesome.

Posts: 5Need a good hotel reference on the strip
Whats up fellow mongers? I dont post much but I read the board weekly, if not daily. I only get out to TJ 3 times a year since moving to atlanta, which sucks, so i gotta give props to all you regular posters for keeping me informed. Thanks guys! I'm headed down to TJ again in December and i'm looking to try a new hotel on the strip. I always stay at the hacienda de santiago because its clean, and safe(I travel alone), yet pretty close to all the action. I'm looking for something safe/clean, but right on callejon in the middle of the action. The idea of walking out the front door 5 steps and see the SG's sounds great to me. Any info/pricing would be greatly appreciated.
