Skipped a whole day of Tijuana. Man was it boring in San Diego Sat night. Made my return to Tijuana Sunday. Sunday is usually my cheap 60 dollar San Diego hotel night. But I missed Tijuana. Sunday at 7 pm all bars 1000% better than Friday night,. All the bars had ample woman and men. But much better woman ratio than Friday. Did not talk to anyone in HK. HK can be rough place at times to find woman to talk to you. I supposed you sit in Chavelas it may work eventually. But I generally only sit 4 minutes in Chavelas. Yes, Captain, I was just imagining someone running up thousands of dollars worth of charges on my cards and also identity theft. I was stressing out for sure. Would have had to call my card companies and cancel everything plus would have had to report passport card lost and replace it also. Drivers license, Such a headache and such a bone headed move to not have immediately placed my wallet back in my pocket. Just thought I would share the story in case someone else happens to lose their wallet as a possible solution. So at this point it was around eleven and figured I would take a taxi to the border. Standard five bucks. Tried getting a ride in Hong Kong van but it had literally took off. I sat in the back seat and took out my wallet for the five bucks. I stupidly placed my wallet beside me instead of back in my pocket. Surely this guy was going back to the zona to pick up more people to bring back to the border so thought about walking back to the zona and looking for this guy since I didn't have any money on me anymore. Also thought about jumping in a HK shuttle back to the club. Then it hit me that this guy eventually has to come back. So went to the drop off spot hoping to see the same taxi driver again. As a million things were rushing through my head, I kid you not, about five minutes after this whole thing happened the taxi returns with a single passenger in the front seat. I run up to the guy and said hey you just gave me a ride and I forgot my wallet in your car. He looked surprised and said go ahead and look in the back seat, if it's there it's there, if not I don't know what to tell you. This guy literally had no clue. I couldn't believe it but my wallet was right there, untouched with everything inside. Wow. I thanked the guy and gave him ten bucks, although looking back he didn't really do anything and I just happened to be lucky his next passenger rode in the front instead of the back like me. Either way in the end I was just happy to have my wallet back with everything in it and didn't mind giving him the ten bucks. By the way, before You guys tell me about the "dummy wallet" I know, I know. But since this was an impromptu visit I only had my regular wallet and didn't want to leave it in my car that was parked at Ross. Only had a 5 minute wait at the border and made it back to Ross literally minutes before it closed..

I have difficulties understanding this scenario.

There are no taco stand in front of HK's front door on Coahuila with a row of taxis or HK's back door in the alley. HK's bouncers and security guys have to stick very close to the doors to do their jobs. They would never wander away to the taco stand at the corner.

Street girls would not be welcomed to solicit where people stand and eat their tacos. Tacos guys would shoo them away. A couple guys would hang out in that corner and tout for mermaid Massage or the & see bar, but pimps for street girls would never show their faces anywhere, much less soliciting for their girls since it's illegal. Fist fights, scuffles and brawls happen sometimes in front of Hong Kong. Don't start fights but you have the rights to defend yourself. Best thing to go to HK's security guys for protection and witnesses. They are employed to protect clients and are good at it. Just tip them for the hard jobs they have to do. If policia squeeze you, tell them you are willing to go to the policia station nearby to explain the situation to the judge. It's only 2 small block North West of HK. Polciia stations have judges in site 24/7/365. They are not all bad, a lot more fair than the stupid, greedy Municipal Policias.

Also hide your money and keep only a small amount in your wallet. If policias find no money in wallet, they will not search you for more. If you act weak, they will bluff you out of all your money.

First off, WOW. Tijuana is f*ing crazy.

Not only is this my first Tijuana Monger report, it's my first time to Tijuana ever. F*ing insanely awesome and crazy place, (with some drama-I'll explain).

Before discovering these boarder towns. I continue to be disappointed / surprised that I've been paying stateside PD and Tryst prices in for years. $800/ HR in some cases in CA or AZ, etc for one chick, one hour, one pop. I'm probably over mongering stateside for awhile, or not, I'm pretty weak at times. But to the Tijuana report.

Tuesday arrive in Tijuana, entrance at SY is seamless midday. Taxi to Pueblo Amigo Casino was $5. Chose Pueblo based on a referral from a fellow monger and a great call! Hotel is completely girl / guest friendly and staying at a casino with nicer rooms is fun. Also, it's just close enough and just far enough away from the craziness of the zona.

Tuesday night didn't get out till about 11 pm to HK due to emails / work and the place was popping! No idea how many girls, but at least maybe 40-50 roughly, prob more. All shapes and sizes. So the little handler is sounding off in Spanish, I'm drunk, but not slammed and then he grabs my arm to like demand my attention or something and I shoved his little ass 10 ft back across the sidewalk. No one reacted, the HK bouncers, the taxi drivers, or even the little handler who hit his head upon arrival to the sidewalk after I sent him for a ride. No one did anything? Then as I'm turning back to the taco stand I see 3 police officers literally right behind me like they were there the entire time. Foolishly, I assumed they saw the situation and were about to be on my side. I was wrong. Almost immediately the police start asking me for money. $200 to be exact. A random American next to me getting tacos as well who spoke perfect Spanish started telling the officers the story and it was clear they didn't care and merely wanted my money. Shook me down, asking for $200 or I was going to be arrested, but all I had was $68. And yes, they checked my pockets and wallet. So they took $60 and left me $8 for a taxi back to my hotel. Unreal and a learning experience.

Needless to say my second night I laid low and got some delivery ladies from Musas, which was honestly even a better experience but I'll report back on that in another post. My fingers hurt enough from this post.

All in all though, I love me some Tijuana!

You're probably going to die if you continue to be careless. Are you sure no one took a photo of you with your cash? It is too much of a coincidence that everyone took a shot at your wallet.

If you run into problems, go back into the clubs. Security will block any troublemaking locals from coming in. But understand this, security is there to protect the club, they are not there to protect you. If some one pulls a gun and shoots you, no one will help, no one will testify, security films will disappear. This is Mexico and you are not Mexican. They will not give a fuck if a drunk gringo dies. Who has been shot there in the past that has been reported on this forum? Let's see, a security guard, 2 drug dealers, a waiter at the end of the alley. There is a reason why the military patrol this area in 8 man teams. There is a reason why you will see "no guns in Mexico" signs before entering Tijuana. If you are forced to defend yourself, drop the dude and leave. Do not fuck around or you're going to have a hole in your head. Tijuana is the murder capital of the world for about the last 10 years.

Yeah I wouldn't get to drunk your first time in Tijuana and hang around outside the bars. I don't think anyone was tipped off to you just that they might of noticed you were drunk and at that time you were an easy target. From your description I am confused if you were in the ally or the front of HK. Because the only cart that I know of by HK in the front is the hot dog guy. So if you were in the ally that is the worst area to hang out in because it has more seedy characters in a small area. As far as you feeling safe because the door guys were watching that is the last thing they care about. In general as it has been discussed before it's pretty much every man for himself in that area and you get numb to all the bad stuff. Especially being an American they will have less to do with you and just assume you get what you deserve and they would be looked down at for helping you. The guy that tried to help is nice but doesn't seem from your story that he was willing to go the extra mile for you with the cops. Maybe you were more drunk than you think and he figured it wasn't worth it. The good news is nothing really bad happened and you will learn from your errors.

This is a bizarre & disturbing story. Seems odd since there is rarely working girls on that corner. The best way to handle this situation is to go back inside HK or another business. Perhaps the cops and guy saw you as a target given how late it was. This one reason why I usually head back before midnight. This also goes to show how important to not let your guard down in Tijuana. What reason did the police give you for demanding a bribe.

Not only is this my first Tijuana Monger report, it's my first time to Tijuana ever. F*ing insanely awesome and crazy place, (with some drama-I'll explain).

Before discovering these boarder towns. I continue to be disappointed / surprised that I've been paying stateside PD and Tryst prices in for years. $800/ HR in some cases in CA or AZ, etc for one chick, one hour, one pop. Tuesday arrive in Tijuana, entrance at SY is seamless midday. Taxi to Pueblo Amigo Casino was $5. Chose Pueblo based on a referral from a fellow monger and a great call!
