Do you mean the club La Tropa? A Ficha Bar like Tropical, Las Chevalas, etc.

La Tropa is on the corner with Revo. On Revo itself next to La Tropa is a massage place (like Mermaids, Luxor, etc).

I walked back today.

short line with mostly (90%) non-whites which is different from the usual 50-60% non-whites that I have seen. Please do not get this wrong as I am not being racist but just reporting data.

that place of mirrors is OK. it is like a usual Massage parlor. you go in take a small left and the lady presents set of chics (maybe 5) and you pick one and away you go. My experience was not great so I did not go there again.

However, that street is not good to walk on after sundown. there are many other places that are safer.

Although cheap and plentiful, those items you mentioned come with certain risks. A body-builder buddy told me that in the US Customs lines, they look for buffed out Gringos to search them for steroids. Also Mexico cops often stake out pharmacies and vet supply houses (where steroids are sold) and wait to arrest and subsequently shake down those who buy. Same deal for Viagra--I'm not sure if it is a controlled substance like cops will claim but it provides them the excuse to demand a bribe.

Lots of dentists in TJ. Whitening is something they all do now, you'll see many shops as you cross. There is a web site that will assist you: http://www.bestmexicandentists.com/. Check them out.

Regading steroids and HGH, I am not aware of any information that would be helpful as far as procurement. You might want to ask the Farmacia. I would expect that you would have problems crossing if they find it and you do not have your prescriptions in order. You will have problems here if TJPD grabs you and finds prescription drugs on you without a prescription.

The personal enhancement stuff is available all day long in Tj. I think one viagra is selling for $12. here.

Vivamex is between 3rd and 4th on Revolucion.

Azteca is on 1st I think. It's near the intersection of 1st and Rev, but you have to walk about 100 ft from the intersection heading to the Zona Norte on 1st, and you'll see an entrance on the left side of the street to head up to the 3rd floor. Also, you'll see a big banner for Azteca on the top floor of the building on 1st & Rev.

Get a passport, gentlemen. It's not that difficult.

From my experience of geting a passport, its the equivalent of a trip to the DMV. Not very fun at all. Neccessary though.

For those who are not citizens, will the permanent residence card be enough or will I still need a passport? I have a passport but obviously its not a US passport since I'm not a US citizen.

According to the sheet they hand out at the border:

"US Lawful Permanent Residents
Permanent Resident Card (I-551) or other valid evidence of lawful permanent residence is required."
