Hey guys,

Is anyone going down to TJ tomorrow? If so, do you want to hook up at the border? I am a newbie to the TJ scene and would like someone with experience to show me the way to the light. First couple of rounds on me.

I arrived in TJ about 8pm a week ago Tuesday. I never go midweek so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Even though there wasn't as many girls on the street or in the clubs like Chicago or Adelitas, the ratio of girls to mongers was much better then it is on the weekend. Also some of the starting prices were lower then they are on weekends and I'm not talking about the "suky, fuky $5" pitch that when you respond you find it's just the price for the room, but a lot of the girls were ready to give full service for $20. Of course the real hot ones still asked for the moon but I had no trouble getting my suky, fuky, sin ropa, two positions for $30 plus the room from 2 very young and pretty SW's during the course of the night.

I guess it finally had to happen. I was harassed by the TJ police. I know I’ve said in the past that if you mind your own business, don’t look for trouble, and keep a low profile you’ll never have a problem with the local police. That’s exactly what I was doing when a squad car that was shaking down some local street people called me over. The first thing he asked me was if I spoke Spanish. When I told him no he asked in perfect English if I had any drugs on me and I responded with a firm no. I assure you I don’t fit the drug profile. Whenever I’m in TJ, I never wear expensive clothes or jewelry because I don’t want to invite an opportunity for a thief. I wear jeans, clean tennis shoes because of all the walking I do, and a nice casual shirt. He then asked me what I was doing in TJ. I told him I was a tourist and was just enjoying their fine night life. He made me wait until he was done searching the street people that he was already working on and then searched me. I was expecting him to try to plant something on me or try anything to get some money from me but that didn’t seem to be his motive. When he got into my pocket and reached my BR he made me take out my money and put it on the car's hood. He was purposely making an effort not to handle the money himself. He made me place it right in front of where I was standing. I had about 3 hundred in 10s and 20s on me and probably would have given him about $20 but I was prepared to make him take me to his captain if he shot for any more. He didn’t. When he saw I had nothing illegal on me (he even made me lift up my pant legs so he could check my shoes and socks) he then rudely told me to go home. It took all I had not to tell him that if I went home I couldn’t spend my money in his dirty city, spreading it around his bars and restaurants. That it was people like me that his economy depended on and if he had any common sense he would spend his time stopping real crime and leave the tourists alone. I didn’t say any of that. I just followed some of my old rules that focused on keeping a low profile. I stopped into a local bar and had a few beers. I then took a few laps until I found a SW that appealed to me, got laid, and then took a cab back to the border. I had a great time in spite of the prick cop and an even better one the next day. Because this post is already to long winded, I’ll write about it in my next post.

I don't think they have internet but I stay at the San Ysidro Travel Lodge. For around $60 per day it's at least clean. I can hang out and party in TJ and after I cross back to the US I can walk back to my room. This way I don't have to park at the border and worry about a DUI driving back to a hotel. If your looking for something nicer, Google hotels in the San Ysidro area and check their hotel ratings, their distance to the border, and their internet access. You can drive back to your hotel after you cross back over or take one of the cabs that are always waiting on the US side.

If you want to stay in TJ both the Camino Reale and the Hotel Pueblo Amigo are very nice hotels and sometimes you can get a good deal on priceline. Hotel Pueblo Amigo also has some very nice nightlife in the mall next store. Stay away from the overpriced massage parlor in that mall but if you speak spanish, and have some pretty good game, you might do ok with one of the local girls. I don't know if either have internet because everytime I plan a trip I do my internet homework before I get there and Monger during my time in the area.

Speaking of mongering, Houston is one of my favorites US spots to spend a few days. It's one of the last places over here that's still wide open.

I'm from Houston, TX. I'm planning a trip to TJ during labor day weekend. Can someone give me or recommand a hotel near the boarder so I can look it up in google map and get the direction? Perfer a hotel or motel with wireless internet access

I went last week. Just flashed my driver's license and was on my way. They scanned it though. So I guess its lucky that I don't have anyone looking for me at the moment.

I suggest you walk over, the traffic on the way out was crazy and it was only a Tuesday.

Saw a stunner in LC who offered $50 for half an hour, but I was already heading out. May be worth checking out though.

From the information I recieved the passport rules were changed this year Jan 1. But with althe confusion and uproar, the are very leinent on this rule until Jan 1, 2007, so fellow mongers, get your passports now, it takes about 3 weeks unless you pay for a quickie, 3 days and about $150.

To Jackson:

The 'first letter capitalized' problem indicates that the poster's caps lock key was on. Something on the forum causes only the first letter of each word to be capitalized.

I have seen this problem before. It is definitely not a guy sitting there trying to capitalize every word, lol...

Lots of talent next door in the plaza, but it's big money and it's mob saturated. Go in if you have money and are prepared to spend it.

There are no problems bringing a girl to the room. If you know in advance of the TLN arrangement, then register her at the desk. Yes, register her. There are several reasons for this.

1. The guy who works the desk at night might not be the same guy who checked you in.

2. Sure, Hank owns the place but if security wants to be a prick, they CAN send the girl away.

3. One night after a TLN I drove the girl back to the Zona and was stopped by the cops who "saw" her giving me oral sex in the car (illegal). It was bullshit of course and when I offered to have him come with me to the hotel to prove she was registered with me there and we were there all night, they had nowhere to go but the hole they came out of.

4. If she rips you off, or kills you in the room, the cops will have clues. (Go ahead, tell me this never happens.)

5. If she OD's in the room, registering her will help you if they think you did her in.

When you check in, register Mr. and Mrs. Whateveryournameis. Tell the desk that she is arriving later etc. You are in Mexico. Document your situation and then shred it when you cross Stateside if you want to.

I understand that some will see this as over the top but you must remember that you are not in the USA and therefore your rights are very [BOLD]G*O*N*E.[/BOLD]/ It's up to YOU to protect yourself.

Not registering the girl is like opening the door to a stranger, of which there will be no record.

I've had 2 experiences with Team Juanita. The agency support was awsome. I first went with Mia and it was a very good experience. When I went the second time I couldn't resist not going to see Mia again....and it was even better. As I contemplate my third trip, while Dulce is higly recommended and has great reviews, Mia is still very tempting! Just wish I could get her for a weekend.

I went down south this past Saturday. The good news is, the taxi drivers who park near the Mcdonalds when you go to the right to enter Tj, were asking for only $3.00 usd to go to centro. It's about time the greedy bastard came down. I guess the taxi libres are having an affect on them.

The bad news, it was so crowded, especially in a/b, many girls were asking $70.00 usd. I don't usually go to a/b but I had a friend who loves it there. Not only is it crowded there, but it was so hot also. That day was not a buyers market. Because it was so hot, I stayed outside in the peanut gallery and timed some of the guys who went up. Average, about 20 minutes. I do admit, a/b still has the best looking girls on average.

We also went to t/b and l/c.. At t/b there were a few cuties but of course they were ocuppied. At l/c I was able to hook up with a very pretty girl named Melissa. Tall, slim with black hair. She said she has been there for two months.

We go upstairs and she goes to the bathroom. I take my clothes off anticipating the fun I will be having. She comes out and ask for the money first. I tell her I don't pay first, always at the end. She insist on the payment up front but me being stubborn and getting bad service when I did pay first, I told her no. She is probably the first girl in over a year to ask for the money first. Anyways I stood my ground, she stood hers, end of session without anything happening.

As we walk downstairs I ask the counter guy to give back the money. He says they don't do that anymore but if I get another girl, I would not be charged for the room. This is different from a couple of year ago when they did give the money back.

I went back to the bar, pick a girl who looked friendly and went upstairs. She didn't ask for the money up front. She wasn't bad, but wasn't great. Cbj and no kissing on the lips. I did nut, so she served her purpose. I gave her $600 pesos.

My friend took two hotties from a/b. Not sure about the names but he said one was good, the other was very mechanical.
