To be honest, over the years I have read many of your posts, and I feel like you've always had a very strong bias towards Tijuana to where you can't enjoy any other place and give it a fair chance. I've been there to Tijuana too, and overall was not impressed with it as a mongering destination where I would go out of my way to take a "sex vacation" to. If I ever went again, it would only be because I happened to be in the area. There other places I strongly prefer, especially my two favorites of Brazil and Germany. Restaurants are all tiny, expensive holes in the wall except the upscale Casa Blanca at Plaza Bolivars with outdoors seating's, but it was raining on an doff day and night. Unable to find any taxi at night, I walked about 7 blocks from bar Bocatorenas downtown back to the condo in Castro Viejo, it was dark like a ghost town, with lots of dark, wet, filthy alleys, pretty scary. Panama City and Castro Viejo are not recommended.

Bogota's Santa Fe district has lots of girls on streets, in bars and casa de citas, many Vennies, some very hot, but the whole area is muddy, filthy and nasty, dog shit every where, reeking of feces and urine. ST hotel rooms are about the same cleanliness as Tijuana. Food in Colombia is very bland, nothing good even in upscale restaurants.

Medellin is a very beautiful, scenic city with nice weather, dry, cool. I went to bars at the famous Lleras park, upscale Isla club, low price casas. Girls here are mostly heavy and pudgy, heavily tattooed, very hard to find slim spinners. What would happen when you get sick? Colombia looks like a very poor country, with very poor public services. Do you know enough about their healthcare system, health insurance and the quality of care they can deliver there? Do you think when you have heart attacks or strokes, they can do competent jobs to save your life? A friend just had a triple heart bypass in the US, the bills totaled over $1.2 Mil. You think Colombia will spend that much on you, or even has competent medical providers who can do it?

In contrary, Tijuana is right next to San Diego with its good healthcare system and many medical facilities staffed with competent professionals. If you are stricken by illness, you can walk, crawl or hire some guys to push your wheelchair across CBP checkpoint and dial 911. An ambulance will be happy to run over quickly, pick you up and deliver you to the right medical facilities, medical care givers will do everything available, including some very expensive procedures, so they can bill your insurance or Medicare. Isn't that sweet?

You can find decent 2-bedroom apartments in clean, safe areas near the border pretty cheap. Partner up with another guy so you can look out for each other in emergencies. By my estimation you would have plenty money left from your pension every month to spoil your bar sweethearts to death.

I know this isn't a CO thread but a lot of discussion of it in here. Becoming increasingly dissatisfied with "U.S. dream" and social unrests. I have enough pension income now to do it if I want. $2000/ mo. + more as I age. In San Diego still could only afford a small apartment and nothing else.

I can continue making "big bucks" in USA Almost $100 K / yr. and in a good month maybe save $2 K but why? And that is with absolutely zero SA or SB action which is very risky now in TX and then they girls keep want repeating which drains the finances very quickly.
