I am not trying to save money. I would much rather bang a chica at a love motel than sit around waiting for a room at Cascadas.

So my question is simply availability of rooms at noon at love motels like La Mansion.

I've never had a problem with motels being full during the week. I know some have had issues on the weekend. I think Primer and Mansion are the most popular with Americans and lots of girls. If your girl doesn't care what motel you go to I'd probably just use Hacienda Soler Motel. It's not as crowded and is actually the motel that Musas uses to take most of the pics of the girls.

I would ask Ticuan if you can pay a fee for a late check out. I've used this many times in other cities in Mexico because I usually take a late flight out so need to be in the hotel as late as possible. Usually they will extend your check out till 6 pm. And will be less than a motel if they allow it. I know it's not a money issue but more convenient than having to drag your stuff all around.

Unless you definitely want to bang a chica during that time gap my opinion is to save your money and forget about the love motel. Just take your bags to Cascadas and ask them to hold onto the bags for a couple of hours until you check-in (which they will be able to do, can tip maybe $3-$5 for this though in theory I don't think they make you tip anything). You can spend the couple hours of gap time walking over to Revolucion and getting food + drink or checking out the various shops. Or you can hang out in any of the Zona Norte clubs for a couple hours until it's time to check in. Or there's even a dedicated room Cascadas has for guests waiting to check in. You can sit in there if you want and check your e-mail or watch the TV. Either way am of the opinion you don't need to waste your time and $$$ with the love motel.

Well starting Saturday PedWest will be closed again because of the increase in migrants.

They also said it could effect the drivers crossing due to more agents being used to help with the asylum seekers.

So, do I need a reservation at Premier on a Monday at noon? Can I make one?

So I think checkout at Hotel Ticuan is around noon and you can't check-in to Cascadas until 3? Unless you definitely want to bang a chica during that time gap my opinion is to save your money and forget about the love motel. Call Cascadas and say you caught an earlier flight in, failing that ask Ticuan for a late checkout. You shouldn't have to book a temp motel.

If you are picky about which room you get most weekdays you should not have a problem checking in early.

You can try back side receptionist first to see if they will let you check-in early. You could try to tip the guy $10 if he is hesitant.

Besides you can leave your bag at the Checkin desk anyway in case you need to wait an hour for your room.

Ask Ticuan to hold the bags for you at the front desk. Cascadas can hold them as well. However, I'd avoid option #2.

I know for a fact that there are some women who owed a lot of money to a person (or groups of persons) for transporting them to Tijuana and given housing and clothes. And these women owed a lot of money for those expenses. And they were guided to the clubs to work as prostitutes to settle their debt. And if they could not, they were threatened with serious bodily harm. There are organizations that funnel girls from all over Mexico to Tijuana. Some of these women work in HK. I know because I personally intervened in one case.

You might be hearing garbled stories about padrotes.

Otherwise, for a lady in Sinaloa to bus it to Tijuana is not expensive, no need for a criminal cartel to pay for it.

What I do know is that bars offer free rooms to ladies in Sinaloa, they hear about it and bus it up to Tijuana.

I've stayed in Caesars and Valerio before, and I like them both. Always had a clean room. Caesars is a place you could take your family to, but valerio is the place that has helped me kick out a girl who was causing problems. Always a place in my heart for valerio cause they know the deal and don't beat around the Bush.

I was wondering if anyone has ever stayed at hotel granvilla or hotel catalina? I'm going to be in Tijuana this weekend and wanted to know if there is something I should avoid.

The only good thing is I know most of the women in HK are not being forced to do the work. Other parts of the world is more sketchy and not sure if the women have their passports taken and they have to work off their travel debts or debts their family owes. Also not sure if youre dealing with Russian mafia, Chinese Triads, Japanese Yakuza, Mexican cartel, and the list goes on. Hopefully the women are educated enough to save and invest so they are not stuck in the vicious cycle of alcohol and drugs that are so prevalent in these businesses, but most of the time, they come from poor backgrounds and with more money, the lifestyle creep sucks up every penny and they have to keep working longer and harder to keep up with the cycle. Their families and friends ask for loans that never get paid back and most are just trying to survive. It is always the same story but different countries. Sick (insert) farm animal, family member, etc. and the stories could be endless to try and pry more money from unsuspecting mongers.

On the average, there are 266,000 crossings each day. Split it in half and we roughly get 133,000 people. Toss the 33,000 mongers that goes to HK every day and we are down to 100,000 people that could cross to work. Not anyone but still plenty.

Yep, there are loads of US citizens who live in Tijuana and commute to San Diego. And Mexicans going shopping in the US.

To be able to work for $20 an hour in the US, a Mexican would need a green card with Social Security number. Not so many of those.

It's not like anyone in Tijuana can just go to San Diego to work.

There are also US residency requirements to maintain the green card.

It has already begun in SoCal. In-and-out had signs posted they are starting at $20 an HR. McD for 2 combos and happy meal is like $30-$40. I recall it being $15-$20. ....

I remember handing a dollar for a Big Mac and Coke and getting back change.
