    Thanks!
Just some of the places I go to while I'm out there (most recently just last week):

If you like breweries, Tijuana has a shitload of breweries where you can try cheap, but very solid craft beer. My favorites are Lúdica Artesanal, Border Psycho, and Norte Brewing (the latter two are within walking distance from Zona Norte off Revolucion). I like to hang out in the breweries, most of them also serve good food.

El Museo is a restaurant not too far from the Arch on Revolucion with great margaritas and very good food.

Giuseppis is a solid Italian restaurant chain. One of their locations is on Revolucion. Last week I had a good-sized plate of spaghetti and meatballs with lemonade for 120 pesos ($6).

Favorite taco spots: taco stand around the block from HK, Tacos El Franc (Zona Rio), Taconanzo (Zona Rio), Tacos Casa Sonora (Playas. They feature delicious bbq rib tacos and ribeye tacos). Tacos Casa Sonora and Tacos El Franc are currently my favorites.

Favorite non-taco food spots: Churrasco do Brasil, Mr. Pampas, Las Espadanas. All are in Zona Rio. First two are all you can eat Brazilian steakhouses where you'll pay like a third of the price you'd pay at a comparable steakhouse in the States.

There are numerous small Caliente casinos throughout Tijuana, including one in Zona Norte (alley across from HK). But the biggest, nicest one is the one off Agua Caliente next to the soccer stadium and dog track. I'd recommend checking that one out.

The CECUT is Zona Rio is worth checking out at least once. I found the Museo de las Californias exhibit interesting (spent a couple hours looking through it. Basically a history of Baja California) and it only cost $2.

You can get down to Rosarito, which has a slightly nicer beach than the one in Tijuana, for as cheap as 22.50 pesos ($1. 25) is you're willing to take the taxi de ruta shared taxi out there. I've used it a few times with no issue. Real easy to get back and forth between Tijuana and Rosarito that way. I believe there's even a route out to Ensanada but haven't figured that one out yet.

I have found browsing the bar giving out $1's to grope the girls I like is a good introduction to see if there is any chemistry. The mesero's will be on you quick asking if you want to buy her a drink, just say not yet or something to get them off your tail for another few minutes if your just seeing if there is any chemistry. Yes. You can blow through $10 fairly quickly but its so wonderful to grope the girls with a little sample of there body just to experience a bit of their bodies with out needing to take them upstairs.

For those you find a little chemistry. You can have a drink for the $9 or $10. I have not done but heard others have. When the girl is done with their drink and the mesero asks if you want to buy her another drink, you could say no thank you. And when he leaves ask her if she just wants $5 to stick around a bit longer. If you do this upstairs where there are less mesero's you may get some extra time with her. We all need to support the club and buy drinks of course. But it could give the girl more money and you get more time with her. Just a thought.

I'm more about slipping 20 P notes to a gal onstage or walking by than I am lady drinks. Its a cheap thrill, kinda like a peep show, but way better. Its also a great way to pre-screen them and get a good feel if she's friendly or not to see if I'd consider getting her a lady drink.

Going to go to the Zona tomorrow night, kinda late probably going to get there at around midnight (I live in Tijuana and work grave yard so I'm very much night owl). If anyone's' down to grab a drink, swap stories, pinch fannies, etc. Etc. I'm down.

Phordphan is right. The gold / white taxis are the closest to the entrance and the most expensive. It's $18 to Centro. If you walk down the street to get a taxi libre, it's $10. Uber is about $6 but you also have to walk down the street and I've had to wait up to 15 minutes.

Last time I was there Wed night - Fri morning and I just parked a trolley station no problem. However from what I can find, it doesn't seem recommended to park at a trolley station for more than 48-72 hours.

Planning on being there Sun night - Wed morning.

    Appreciate any tips.
Other thing I have done is find a nice neighborhood 10 minutes from the border. Park your car on the street and call uber to get a lift to the border.

I did a weekend trip down to Mexico this way and it saved me a few bucks.

    Private Parking Near Airport?

Airport parking is $32 for the day. Maybe there are some private lots that charge less near the trolley line or similar in downtown?

I usually fly in and stay in a hotel so don't have a car to park.

Never tried it myself but maybe look into the Caltrans Park and Ride lot in Chula Vista or National City. Though 24-hour parking isn't recommended you can apparently park in these lots for up to 72 hours without having to worry about being ticketed or towed per state law. Parking is free, though in theory is intended for those using alternative forms of transportation from those lots (e. G. , rideshare, Amtrak, bus, etc.). I'm guessing a lot less cars are parked in these lots overnight relative to the MTS 24-hour lots so overnight cars might stick out more. Both for criminals / thieves and security looking to enforce parking after 72+ hours.

    Some info here: https://dot.ca.gov/caltrans-near-me/...k-ride-program.

Again, I've never used it as I've never had to leave a car in San Diego over 2 days or so but might be worth looking into if you're in the 48-72 hour time range.

Also note that residential street parking in San Diego is free for up to 72 hours so you could maybe find a somewhat close neighborhood you're comfortable with that has free parking and try to park there. For residential street parking it's very highly unlikely the 72-hour rule will be strictly enforced.

    Weird Story / Question

When I was in the military, our first trip to Tijuana as young 19 year old men was a bit wild. This was back in like early 2008 so probably not applicable but I remember when we crossed the boarder, we wanted to go to Adelitas and the driver told us that they were closed. We knew that was a scam, and insisted on him taking us there anyways. Because we did not know where we were going, or where it even was, or how long it would take to get there. I remember us being driven around a bit to a residential neighborhood near the boarder, and taken to a house. The guy promised we were fine and safe, and just wanted to show us something before going to Tijuana. We were 3 military guys so I felt like we were kind of safe. So we followed him inside. Once we got in, we were sat down on a couch and given a line up of about 15 girls. Some of which were IMO stunning. We did not partake because we just could not get comfortable, and he did indeed take us to Adelitas.

The drive was not more than 10 minutes MAX. I am just wondering if this is really even a thing anymore, and if so. How does one find it again? I am sure its more risky. I totally get that. I was just wondering if anyone else has had experience with this, and if they knew what I was talking about. Thanks in advance and stay safe!

I park in point Loma or Ocean beach and take the bus to the trolley if parking for multiple days. Bus is hassle full of homeless who smell but I like to park in safe neighborhoods and you can park for 3 days in San Diego before they are allowed to tow you. Actually now I have a paid parking monthly spot I keep but before I found that this was what I did. The car will likely be broken into no matter where you leave it if you leave anything at all that a homeless person may want from a sweater to 25 cents. There's no jail time for these crimes in California it's acceptable behavior for them.

Do I have to be in the club throwing around $1 bills until I find a girl that I like, and then make sure she's not overcharging me for a session?

Is it $1 for a drink, $1 to the mesero, and she hangs around for 10 minutes? Is it $60 for 45 minutes in Cascadas, covered?

Things are a lot more standardized in the FKK scene. You only pay for club entry and it's 50 euros for 30 minutes (but lately it's been going to 100 euros).

In Canada, prices are stated 250 CAD, 1 hour. You take your chances with the girl when you show up at an incall but they've generally been prescreened and meet a good service level.

Two spots, you can find it on google maps "Holiday Lodge Motel" $10/ day but it's dumpy and I've had my car scratched up before there. Right next door though is a new spot that opened up in the last year that also charges $10/ day and is much nicer.
