I used to stay there all the time. Prices go up in the summer ($90 ?) and they are usually pretty full. Although with Covid who knows. GREAT location for food and transport to Tijuana.

Wow $ 90, I think it is much cheaper in the off-summer season. I have stayed there a lot of times at this motel when I lived in Northern California. There are a lot of restaurants around like: McDonald's, Denny's, Taco Bell, Angus steak, Aunt Emmy's breakfast (my favorite), supermarket, liquor store and right next to the "E Street" trolley station. Last trolley from San Ysidro is 1258 AM. If you are later in the night a taxi from San Ysidro to this motel is around $ 25. But overall it's a good location to visit Tijuana and San Diego (trolley travel time 20 min to San Ysidro or downtown San Diego).

And that's where I ran into a slight problem: Motel Pacific's nightly rates like many places in CDMX are only for Mon-Thur as Fri-Sun the hourly rate formula is better bank for them. Good for them, bad for me.

Anything on Booking or AirBnB that won't break the bank? Don't mind a short Uber ride to from border / zona norte to / from hotel.

Cars too. I rented cars for last 5 years 600 month. Then bought one its costing me 2500 month in repairs never mind the 10 k I paid for it and the fact it's in the shop 75% of the time.

Then you apparently overpaid for a "luxury" car at the end of its projected life, with tons of deferred maintenance, and never learned how to DIY. There's nothing in this world more expensive than a cheap German car. If you're going to drive cars like that you'd better learn to wrench. Yes, I speak from experience. My stable includes two 20-year-old Beemers.

Now I need more of a connection and I love tour guides in foreign countries that serve as translators, tour guide, and fuck buddy. They share their corner of the world and I offer the same if they are ever in my hood. Kind of like Anthony Bourdain going around the world eating and experiencing the various cultures. They definitely left out the monger parts I bet.t.

Yeah the girls hate to see Americans over spend or tip too much. When I'd go out drinking with the ex once I started drinking to much she would take my money because I'd always over tip. It's weird because we think we are being good people just helping out others but to them you are acting stupid and wasting money.

Speak for yourself. In many of my travels I have latched onto a girl, or perhaps vice versa, and had a very good time exploring parts of the city and country that most tourists don't get to see. It's a much better way to get to know more of the culture and cuisine of a country than just sitting in a bar night after night.

Nothing like waking up to a BBBJ and fresh fruit or food they made or ordered. They genuinely seemed more pissed off about people ripping me off than I was. Not saying Putas replace these other people, but just saying they have more value than is given and I don't look at what they give as "sad" to those who spend time with them.

I have had long term girlfriends over the years and I think they were healthy but it's just not the type of relationship I am looking for right now. I really enjoy being on my own and being able to pop down to Tijuana at times and have some superficial relationships where at times we can't even understand each other's language.

Also if I want meaningful conversations I have friends and family for that. Yes snuggling with a Puta isn't as nice as with an actual girl friend who cares for you so they will never replace that but still special talents they have I don't consider sad.

Comedians are professional entertainers, but I have never left a comedy show feeling more "connected" with a comedian. Even if I did, I'd still realize putas just seem funny because they're fine as hell, otherwise they'd be professional comedians.

It's insane to me that some mongers pay to spend days at a time roleplaying boyfriend-girlfriend. It's even more insane how much they pay, how much crazy shit they put up with having real arguments in their fake relationship, and the kind of lies they believe. The funny thing is you'll never hear these losers be honest about how much energy, time and money they've really invested in putas because even after they've been played they try to convince themselves some part of it was real.
