I love going to Colombia. So far I have been to Cartagena, Bogota and Medellin. I was in Medellin recently. There are other cities in Colombia that I want to visit.

I got the feeling from another person who posted a report of their trip to Colombia. Like gringo's stick out quite a bit and get a little pressured when just walking the streets? Any tips on mongering? If you don't mind me asking are you "gringo" looking. Not look like local etc.

I really miss the place. Last trip Nov. 2019 went to Botero Pza. And started talking to this one young Venezola and hated to leave. Wanted just to scoop her up and take her back home with me. If I down there extended would have large apartment with several rooms and keep one in each like a rich Arab! Yummm.

I have a regular that is coming back to town in 2 weeks and I see her social media updates. In the pictures it looks like she is wearing a wedding band and it is always when she is on vacation to tropical locales. Last week I posted that on Wednesday there was an adequate selection in several bars, at 10:30 AM.

This Wednesday, at the same time, HK, Chicago, and Tropical were so dead that their autopsies had been published. But, in all three cases, the selection was adequate by 1:00 PM.

Cancun is a very popular vacation city. There are lots nonstop flights from Cancun to most other cities, including LAX, everyday.

To minimize airtime and layovers, we can fly the long route non stop from LAX to Cancun, open jaw return from GDL to LAX:

LAX to Cancun, return GDL to LAX via Delta or Jet Blue $238.

Then take short Regional flights nonstop to cities in Colombia and Mexico:

CUN to MEDELLIN.

Medellin to Bogota.

Bogota to CDMX.

CDMX to Monterrey .

Monterrey to Guadalajara

GDL to LAX by delta or Jet Blue total $384.

Total $622 plus about $200 airport tax. We can visit 6 major monger cities quickly with all non stop flights. We can go in Sept or October when the weather cools down.
