Can people who printed online FMM form & crossed border by foot please respond:

A. was it totally free when your FMM dates were under 7 days.

B- did you walk in through the Foreigner line or the Mexican national line.

I am guessing the bribe seeking cops will not accept and insist on a fine.

The 7 day FMM is free, the 180 day FMM is $30. If $30 is a deal breaker you should just stay home and find a different hobby.

How can we get 7 day FMM for free?

I paid $20 for same day entry last week. It was essentially a bribe with nothing given for the payment except to let me through.

I should have paid $30 for 6 month FMM but I was not thinking straight.

Yea. Luke shared how it's a little more intense in Colombia. He had a taxi driver take him around to some of the bars. And it sounded like that maybe the best if your solo as the sheer number of solicitors is a bit intense. As I took as intimidating.

Yeah I have limited Spanish and reading the Medellin boards seem like you need to have better grasp of language as they don't have it setup like Pattaya or other monger destinations for English. I'll try to make it out one day before I expire. Some were saying Medellin is more short time wham bam thank you ma'am, Bogota has more variety, and Barranquilla more passionate ladies. Hobby is very YMMV so I take what they say with a grain of salt. For now the chicas in Tijuana have turned the passion to 10 and satisfy me for the moment. I don't mind solicitors or hawkers, but I would mind having someone that has a trigger happy finger pointing a barrel at my face. If it was the states, then I'd give them what they want and they would probably end up meeting their maker.

Considering Rizo De Oro. Is the inside easy to navigate (unlike Cascadas?) Does Rizo require $30 in cash like Cascadas does (refrigerator deposit)? What do why'all think of the restaurant associated with Rizo? Do you know if Rizo has room safes?

I find Rizo easy to navigate, but not sure of your definition of "easy". I just pay their deposit and they ask if I want the frig unlocked. They just charge for whatever I consume. The restaurant is great for me, but not sure of your preferences. The front desk can tell you if they have a room safe or look at the website. I have the penthouse booked for next week. Hope to have another all night bender. Have fun!

Forgot to mention photos of double room I had a few days ago are on the Chicago forum as I met a Chicago chica at Rizo on her day off. The double room had a safe, but I rarely use them.

Columbia would be cool to try, but have read on their trip reports of being held up at gunpoint and the chicas purse stolen by motobike guys. Some say not to be out after sunset. I'd really need to get my bearings, but the pricing seems to be the best compared to Thailand. Also some of the bros reports are pretty entertaining for Medellin.

I just went to pickup a chicken salad and drink ($15) and noticed they sell bottles of beer for $4.50 in SoCal. I got no entertainment value, but did get a healthy chicken salad. Not sure where the people live where $30 is too expensive for a night out. I know my living costs are outrageous for SoCal.
Also the gas just to drive to the border is around $30 and then pay for parking.

People won't pay the 30 bucks if Hong Kong is unimportant and they could care less about Mexico. I pay it because I like Tijuana other offerings like hotels and interesting bars. But many guys are going for HK only, not the rest Tijuana. Some don't even need sex. They can simply go to San Diego strip club. A news article today said that prostitution is running wild in streets in broad daylight near the navy ships, and the girls come out in droves on payday. This is in San Diego. Must be people who can't go to Mexico due to military, no papers for USA, or wife doesn't let them out for more than half hour. Imagine HK prices if military and no papers dudes could go to HK. It would be 160 for 20 minutes probably.

I don't hand out tips to everybody. But I do buy a 180 day FMM every six months, which equates to about $5 per month or, in terms you can understand, one HK beer. If neither you, nor your group of spendthrifts, can afford $5 a month, none of you can afford HK's exorbitant prices, either. Why are other countries' rules so hard for gringos to comprehend?

Glad $30 is the cost of admission for 6 months. I've had to get business visas for other countries and you have to write a letter of justification from sponsor and then have their embassy approve you in addition to charging you $300-$500. I just wish they made it easier for the chicas to come visit in SoCal.

Same here. Exit tax from Costa Rica about the same amount and you can only stay on 90 day visa there. The country in general is poor and needs some money. I don't mind helping a little and I am NOT a big spender on drinks etc. in the clubs. I pay the girls fairly and tip if good but can't see wasting a lot of money on over priced drinks.
