Almost every chica I know live with other chicas even if they have kids. Living with other people is the norm in Mexico because it is a family culture. In fact if you tell them you live alone, they may look at you funny. And most of the time, it's not just 2 chicas splitting a place. It's a bunch of them splitting a house, and the off duty one acts as the babysitter for all the other on duty chicas.

Well Mexico doesn't give away money like the US does but they do have lots of programs to help the poor especially single moms. One family I knew would get help with school items and such for their kids if they maintained good grades. Most young girls that get knocked up will also live at home. For those that are completely alone they have a government agency INNOVIT or something like that to help with housing and such. They have some apartments across from city hall that are rented to the poor. Use to know plenty of moms in that place.

You're going to take some hustling puta's word over brother Jinxx? Huh! What!

You think I just made those numbers up in my head? You think I don't have extensive solid evidence to back up every single word I say?

Yea the factories absolutely don't pay sh*t. They start pay at about $100 usd a week. I don't know about you but to me that ain't sh*t. That's also basic minimum wage anywhere in Tijuana including restaurants, not just the factories.

The fact that you take some random puta's word, a puta who's mission is to tell you whatever it takes to extract as much money from you as possible, over a bonafide verified high level monger (Jinxx) tells me everything I need to know about you and your own brain power.

If you fall for straight BS that easily I can just imagine how many lies and scams you've fallen for over the years. I bet I know who you voted for too.

Let me know if you want to call Jinxx out again so I hit you with mountains of irrefutable evidence. Try me, I dare you.

    One Bedroom Tijuana $80

Talked to a HK chica about what she paid for a place a year or two ago. She told me $80 per month rent for a one bedroom with a yard. Guessing it is one of the paracaidista type places in a flash colonia. Visited a similar place years ago. Housing lot was dug into the side of a Tijuana hillside with a wood framed (pallet wood?) house covered with cardboard and whatever with goats running around the yard with cactus planted around the boundaries. Dirt floor covered with paint.

    Professional salaries global

By official governments stats, salaries for engineers in Mexico average 12,000 pesos a month in 2005, about 10% of US engineers' in raw exchange, but in Purchasing Power Parity, it's about 1/3. Taiwan engineers make as much purchasing power as US due to their very strong semiconductor industry. Germany, Japan and Singapore do not do very well.

    "Absolutely nothing".

Taking temperatures is a very, very effective measure that prevents sick and highly contagious people from entering crowded indoor public spaces.

If you're running a fever then you most definitely are sick and at the height of the contagious stage of your sickness.

The goopy sanitizer stuff I don't know how effective it is, but taking temperatures is a beautiful strategy that I wish they used in the US.

I'm an engineer and I work in a local factory here in Tijuana and the nurse that takes care of us here at work makes the same as I do by the way.
A lot of posters like to claim the Mexican woman are suffering from such poverty. I had a friend in Tijuana, who was always getting fired from jobs, due to Mexican government tracking illegal workers. She was from Peru. She cleaned houses, or cut hair, she made enough to smoke 20 dollars a day weed and drink about 150 a month in beers. Probably another 100 a month in cigarettes. She would also take off to Ensenada by bus to get away. The highest paid ex girlfriend in ever had, by far, was a Mexican in Tijuana factory making about 120 k a year. Obviously not assembly line but she was essentially rich considering no mortgage.

They took my skin temperature because and had me sterilize my hands. This seems to be common here (they did this at Hong Kong too! I took a nap and ate excellent Oaxacan food at a restaurant across the street from Caesars (cannot remember the name). I had the ribs in a dark mole sauce. It was better than the food I had in Oaxaca a few years back! I then took a stroll to Hong Kong taking in the entire red light district, as it was only 11 pm. For my tastes, Mexican women have a bit too much "carne"; indeed, some of them are simply fat. However, the number of women in Hong Kong is amazing, and there were certainly some fine looking chicas. As I was all alone, I sort of wandered around for a while watching the show (which was incredibly boring; most of the girls don't know how to dance very well). I made occasional eye contact with the girls, but they were not as aggressive at introducing themselves to me as is usual in places like Spain, Brazil or Germany. Nevertheless, I found one I liked and we took off for the hotel, where they charged me $30 for the room (for only 35 minutes) including a free drink (the chica got herself a beer) and a condom. The chica asked and received $100; she gave an outstanding BBBJ followed by the usual 3 or 4 positions of sex. I finished after 33 minutes, and the chica hurried me out so I wouldn't get charged an additional fee.

I then checked out both Chicago and Adelita, since they are walking distance from Hong Kong. Chicago was much quieter than Hong Kong, and they had something I have never seen before: naked girls taking a bath with lots of foamy soap. I was not quite ready for round two, so I passed on the one girl who I thought was pretty. I took even less time in Adelitas, although it was much more active than Chicago. Lots of chicas, but only a small percentage were beauties (I guess if I were patient, I could have snared a beauty, but this is always a problem in a large brothel).

I then decided to check out the street girls. I would say that about 10-15% of the street girls are attractive. Most of the others either are way too fat or look as if they are infected with something or another. I had too super cute chicas offer to take me to heaven as a trio, but I was afraid that they might be minors and passed. On a related note, I would love to here from some Tijuana experts how one can be certain a chica is ≥ 18 years of age. Are the ID cards reliable, or is it like the Philippines where there are numerous fake IDs?

I took a cab back to the Ticuan, and checked out a massage place across the street. One of the ladies was a gorgeous thin 26 year old, and she took me for a massage. The massage turned out to be full service and included, for a price, bareback everything. When I finished, she was not quite finished and she treated me to five minutes of masturbation. Watching her orgasm was the highlight of my night! She got $120 USD for this performance (full hour).

Finally, this morning I had the pleasure of meeting Jade, a 27 ish year old escort from mexicolindobar.com. She speaks excellent English, and was very nice. Dennis, the owner of mexicolindobar says all of his girls are GFE. Jade would qualify as GFE, although she doesn't really like DFK. She stayed for an hour, and I had a superb overall experience.

Sadly, I must now go back to the USA. The San Ysidro border sounds like a pain in the ass (current wait times exceed an hour), even though I have my Trusted Traveller status. I hope I won't get sniffed by the dogs again!
To answer your question, the ID you have to ask for is the INE, it is grey in color and it's pretty reliable.

Dealing with the stress of not having a real job and the psychological stigma of being a "puta. " Working in the bars listening to loud music, drinking regularly with cigarette smoke getting in their lungs (nothing against smokers). The stress of meeting the quotas required for fichas, competition with other girls, the stress of not being able to pay their rent. Having to sacrifice to take care of their kids when they get sick. I have seen it time and time again. This lifestyle just wears them out quickly. Believe it or not, this lifestyle leads to suicidal tendencies. Most of these girls will tell you that all they ever wanted in life was to be somebody. Unfortunately, the opportunities are not there for these poor women in Tijuana and all over Mexico. You have nurses making 90 dollars a week and dentists making pennies leaving their jobs and going to work in the Zona. Sad and pathetic. Bottom line is that Mexico sucks for women who are single and stuck with kids and no support. And one of the best alternatives to surviving is to work as a puta in the bars en La Coahuila. Sad, frustrating but true. I had a girlfriend that I met in Adelitas one night. She was a Nurse making 90 dollars a week. She told me she was studying so she could be a Nurse in a surgical setting and make more money to hopefully get out of the bars. The salary would be 120 dollars a week. All I have to say is God Bless these women as the stress most of them endure is beyond imagination. Now, many are going to tell me, what are you talking about? Many of these women are beautiful and make more money than you can imagine. Well, that is a minority of them.
