Planning a trip in the coming weeks and because I would like to partake in more than just HK I was looking at booking a room outside of the Zona Norte. I have done some research on Hotel Caesars and being that it seems like it's within walking distance to Zona Norte it's one of the locations I am considering. I have already that it is a provider friendly location but I also noticed that just up the road is another hotel called Rio Rita. I have yet to see this hotel mentioned anywhere on the forum and was wondering if anyone has experience at this location. It isn't too much closer to Zona Norte than Caesars but hey every little bit counts when trying to maximize time in Tijuana right? If anyone has experience with Rio Rita and would know if its a worthy option please let me know. Thanks and we'll see you'll in a few weeks. Happy Hunting!

Dawned on me after being in Tijuana the last couple weekends is if you have a buddy trying to not spend to much money. You just pick a girl that you both like, you buy her a beer and both of you sit at the bar swivel seats. You both tip her $1 bills and she loves it as she is getting twice as many tips and the waiter won't insist that both of you bought a beer as one if you already did and she is drinking it!

While I love going up and screwing the girls in the hotels. I totally love just lap dances and grouping the gals. Little kissing etc. For a lot cheaper.

Hang out in these bars enough, and say Hello, to other guys when they are next to you, and some will buy you drinks, and drinks for the woman to sit with you. I took one upstairs once because I felt like I had to spend money after a guy bought her 3 drinks to sit with me.

Greetings. This is just a general recon post. I'm surprised I still even have this account. I used this when I was overseas.

How is the mongering in Tijuana during the daytime (typical work hours)? I have time off to burn. I figure I'll try hiding out there sometime.

Is knowing Spanish a must? I can only order tacos.

Passport required? Can I get by with just an ID?

How is the pedestrian traffic? Is it easy to cross on foot? How long does it take to cross the border?

Any spots to avoid? I plan to travel alone.

I'll be reading through the forum over the next few days to gather some intel.

Summer mongering in Tijuana is hotter than shit. Drink your water.

Spanish is a must. They will not understand you when you say Tacos.

Avoid all the blocks north of the Chicago Club.

Passport only required if you walk across or plan to come back to the USA.

I'm sorry maybe I'm missing something but it kinda seems like your post should be titled "how to unnecessarily give away free money".

If you buy her a ficha there's absolutely no need to tip any extra. Of course you're your own man and you do as you please with your own money. But the general rule is if you buy her a ficha, that includes lap dancing, grinding, groping, kissing etc no need to tip anything extra.

I live about 5 hours away by plane from San Diego. I have still managed 5 trips since April. Been going to Zona Norte for about 10 years. Look forward to contributing some positive info here. I am set to return to Tijuana July 25 for a week at least. I used to be a Bar Girl devotee but have developed a taste for SG's lately. I enjoy reading all the posts on here. Appreciate the time it takes to post that info.

I hear ya! Wow. 5 trips since April. I can see why as it's quite a place. I am looking to go down in July again as well and before Covid hit I was starting to find SG's as well. There are some gem's out there (and some non-gems) but it's kind of fun to do the discovery and you can't beat the price which is half the price of HK or other places.

Knowing the prices were low for SG's. Last Sunday morning I almost went down to find a SG just to take a shower with and play a bit with her body in my Cascadas hotel room. (Junior was wore out). Wish my Spanish was better but it is improving a bit.

I stop in Gloria bar often when I don't know what I want to do next. Hit up a cvi bar on revolution? Go back to my hotel? Go find a street girl? More beer in HK? When I find myself walking the circle around the block, and unsure what to do, I'll jump in Gloria. Its about 2 bucks a beer. I never see any black guys or against and only once another white guy but I also never had anyone look unhappy I was there. The woman are not going to fit the look for the hk crowd. If looks are less important you could find a good girl. But the hotel they use didn't have a sheet just the bed spread on top of mattress that I had to lay on. That's disturbing enough to not repeat. I did like the speakeasy they had. It was in their hotel a small spot, full of eoman and men. Seemed like more woman than in the bar and everyone was on top of each other so all the woman were saying Hello, to me. One gay guy also followed me around to 4 seats till I literally told staff to hold him while I ran out of the speakeasy.

That is an option. I don't have a source of passive income yet or being able to work remotely. I am working on the latter. Most of what I have found is not up my alley (passive sources) but I'm still looking.

I try to expand people's horizons when I can. You can get a one bedroom apartment in Polanco, Condessa, Colonia Roma or somewhere else hip in CDMX for around a thousand bucks a month no problem and even less if you're willing to do some legwork. Also, keep in mind that Polanco is like the Beverly Hills or Park Avenue of CDMX. A monthly parking spot in Manhattan would cost a thousand a month if not far more. I lost touch with NY prices the last several years so not sure of current conditions.

Going to live in Tijuana, to find a decent place to live, for purposes of saving money, is a bad idea. It would be like going to live in Brooklyn nyc if there was cheap housing in. Brooklyn. You need to really want to be in Tijuana for it to be worthwhile. Like you said you can still buy houses in USA if you get away from California and the east coast cities and away from east coast suburbs. Tijuana is for those looking for an adventure that need a different country. Really badly. In Tijuana A 1 bedroom that a gringo would feel safe in, that's not gona be pretty or eith any kind of security will still cost you 600 month.

I've driven trucks across the lower 48, it's obvious it's cheaper than most places outside of the coastal states. I don't like the variable weather as I am California native. I am actually looking to Las Vegas in the short term as it keeps all the things that interest me within a reasonable distance.

The only reason I am considering Tijuana because of how I currently make money. If that changes my options open up more.

It is better in just about every possible way except for easy access to California. Another big plus is it will cost you less, far less because it's not filled with people making California pay driving up the price of everything.

Thanks for the shoutout. The other place I wanted to go but missed it was La Gloria's next to Adalita's. From Luke's report on youtube if you know who he is? He said it's a interesting club to visit for the cumbia and other dancing. Some hookers and little older waitresses.

Long time no see. I am trying to hatch out a plan.

Both of my parents died who I lived with since 1999. Their health started to fail in late 2016, early 2017. My mother passed Sept of 2018, My step father March of 2020.

The house has been sold. My sister and myself will be moving out by August 1st or maybe a little sooner. I have my Second Draw PPP money and want to save the majority of it. So instead of renting a cheap apartment in LA County (the lowest I found was Lancaster for just under $700 a month for 1 bedroom), I thought hey, why not just hang out in Tijuana for awhile? I haven't been down since about 2017 so while I'm sure some things have changed, other things haven't.

The main reason for doing this is; My BK isn't quite two years old so I don't qualify for any FHA or USDA programs until that point which is Sept 2021. My next business is best run out of a house, townhouse or condo with two car garage because I have two cars and likey adding another. I may have to move to Las Vegas or Phoenix to get the kind of pricing I want but that's for another thread.

So my questions are -.

Any use Airbnb in Tijuana? Any other affordable options exist (fully furnished)?

What sort of flights are available directly from Tijuana? I think I want to scamper over to Costa Rica, maybe fly to Mexico City and then onto Argentina or Brazil?.
