If someone could answer this question for me and help. If I go to Tijuana whether walk in or by vehicle, then come back- do they do a temperature check? Or some type of screening? From what I read, any reason visits are ok now, but I would still do the dental appointment thing. Last thing I would want is to be be quarantined in Mexico for a couple of weeks. Is Vaccine Required? Or a covid test 72 hours ahead?

When I travel within Mexico, I've never been asked to see my FMM, even at the airport. Technically, you should have one for your travel dates within Mex, so they may make you fill out another at the airport. If they feel like it.
You already tired of the paisas in MDE?

Posts: 3801Travel Advice From Tijuana to Guadalajara
I'm thinking of crossing the border and taking a flight from Tijuana to Guadalajarra. I have a USA Passport, a USA Passport Card, SENTRI, and Global Entry. My question is can I travel within Mexico, meaning board a flight in Tijuana using my USA Passport Card and return with it as I don't want to take my Passport with me, but would bring my SENTRI card with me to cross back from Tijuana into the USA.
The next question is regarding the FMM, I used to get the six month one but haven't been in a while. Any advice on this?
Thanks in Advance.

Posts: 597I normally drive to avoid the hassle but I was under the assumption that border crossing for non essential purposes was OK starting today. Wanted to have a couple beers and bang out a SG. Told the agent I was going to the casino and they sent me to secondary with about 20 other dudes in the room. Finally got me for the $30 FMM. I've crossed on foot about 15 times since Covid. Sucks because I only brought $100 with me so I ran out of money quickly with only $70 in La Zona.

LOL. That was easy. I parked in a Blue Line lot in SD and took the train to San Ysifro. Had my pre-filled FMM from the web, my reservation, my fake work emails, everything. I walk straight forward through a few corridors and a federale stops me inside the checkpoint and says, "Mexicano?" I say no, American, and he asks for my passport. Looks at it for four seconds, says "Next time, American line," and sends me out a door. Suddenly there I am on the streets of Tijuana. Oops.

Not that Black men have a "need" for paid sex services anyway, just saying.
