Staying low key and not drawing unwanted attention to yourself is indeed the key.

If Dogers69 "stories" are even 25% true. There is undoubtedly something about him and the way he behaves in public, which makes people want to slap, attack and abuse him. In that case. He should really examine his behavior and what it is about him that provokes people. Because I have been coming to Mexico for over 15 years, and I have never once been slapped by a bar girl, "choked out" on the street, or anything remotely close to it.

It *mostly* is that simple. A lot of times on these boards you hear the stories of people getting in trouble in Tijuana but honestly, you're just getting that one side of the story from that person's perspective. They'll almost always leave out / minimize the part where they did some really stupid shit to put themselves in a bad situation in the first place. Yea Tijuana is definitely not the place to be a hothead or a tough guy. A couple weeks ago I was checking out of las Cascadas and the front desk guy tried to tell me I needed my receipt to get my deposit back. I told him I wasn't informed of this when I checked in and I no longer had the receipt. He replied "go get it from your room". I told him I'm not going nowhere I need my deposit. I guess he could tell I was getting mad and he gave me my deposit back. But I had to control my anger because I knew he was trying to trick me into giving up my deposit, and I was on the verge losing my temper and cussing the guy out. Then I probably would've got banned from las Cascadas and possibly banned from HK. So yes sometimes you just got to take a deep breath find a calm peaceful solution.

Zona Norte. Miles from USA border. Light years from USA Culture

Its nice to see so many young attractive chicas who have not destroyed their bodies with excessive tattoos or ruined their appearance with excessive drug use.

Many providers in the USA. From Strippers to who provide extras to escorts in the USA have excessive tasteless tattoos, or have bad teeth and facial appearance from drug use.

These young girls in the USA are being falsely flattered by boys with no brains and / or never traveled outside their area. This is particularly bad in the Midwest, I think other parts of the USA are better.

If I didn't remain calm and polite in HK hotel when ski mask gunman tried breaking into my room, saying they were police, I definitely would not have returned to America alive. In Mexico, the other person is always correct and you just say "sorry" , and remain calm. Otherwise don't go.

Has anyone else had similar results?
I have tried all of the brands that you mention here. The best of all of these for me has been Maxifort. Do yourself a favor and try a brand called "Bullenza". It is sildenafil but works every bit as good as Pfizer Viagra. Much better than Maxifort. Go to Farmacia Similares or Sanborns to get it.

Mainly keep a low profile, don't act like an ass (this is probably most important LOL), and mind your surroundings as you're walking around. Don't venture out from the core areas of Zona Norte, especially at night. If you look like / fit the profile of someone who has $$$ maybe dress down a bit. In particular for street girls appearance isn't all that big of a deal IMO. I always prefer nights, but daytime / afternoon might be better looking for street girls if you're especially worried about your safety. But again, I've been to Tijuana solo 20+ times (which I guess actually isn't a whole lot of times relative to many on this board) and never had any issues.

Anyway, if your Mexican or like Mexican music and can find fun in chubbier woman, Gloria bar still has 2 beers for 4 bucks, a lot of woman, I qas only gringo in it. To me Gloria bar has taken over what was once Chaveles. Was quoted 70 by 1 girl who most would rate a 6.5. Only problem is, 1 time I was in the Gloria bar hotel, the girl didn't shower before or after, it was sex on bed spread no sheets, I don't think there was towels for either of us. Its just a lot issues if your hygienic at all.

That's exactly what I feel. Unlike HK, Adelita"s is a no go zone now.

What reasonable precautions can I exercise while in Tijuana? I'm focusing on the paraditas (street girls).
I'd say definitely come down. It's the unknown to you but there's nothing to be afraid of. Being from Chicago, you're going to be blown away if you're used to The Admiral, All Stars and Heavenly Bodies. I know well the 708 now turned 630. There's no secrets to staying safe in the Zona. Just the usual practices when in sketchy areas. I'd say the #1 rule is to not engage in conversation with any male on the street not wearing a bar uniform. Buy yourself a forum membership so you have access to PM and I'll help you out.
