Which uber service level are you requestng. I always choose UberX since it the least expensive. My only guess is that drivers are ony picking up people that using higher levels. This is probably because there are less drivers.

Always UberX. As I said, I used them on Tuesday evening, from Centro to Mision 19, back from there to Centro / Zona, from Zona to hotel. Zero issues, and no longer than a 4 or 5 minute wait. When we go to the airport we often need an UberXL and those are harder to find.

Went down with 2 bros, arriving in La Zona about 6. Light was still out. The hot afternoon soon turned breezy, chilling me in shorts and tank top.

In Tijuana I use Didi. It's like the Mexico version of Lyft. It's a ride share app exactly like uber. I used Didi to go to the zona and back yesterday with no problem.

This is a grea idea. Tijuana needs clean up the area and get rid of drug dealers that constantly yell "quantos". The govt also needs to crack down on police corruption. I will the police credit for getting rid of most of the bandito's in the Zona. Take care of these problems guys would be much more willing to visit the Zona.

I agree prostitution at Tijuana should be promoted in USA.

I used Uber three times yesterday. I think the longest wait was 5 minutes. My GF uses them constantly. Never a problem getting a driver. Sometimes a bit longer of a wait, but that's not the norm. I think the problem is on your end.

I heard today that the govt is charging more fees for Uber. Apparently many drivers have paid the fees so this is why there has been less Uber drivers. Tried contacting Uber to report the problems. But have not heard back from them.
