I plan to take a tour of Mexico from the North all the way to the South of the country. I will be starting my adventure in Tijuana. My next stop will be Guadalajara. From Guadalajara I will be heading to Mexico City. I had planned on going to Monterrey from Tijuana but decided to skip it and spend more time in Mexico City. From Mexico City I am going to Puebla. From Puebla on to Oaxaca. When I leave Oaxaca I will be heading to Cancun to wrap up my trip. I am pretty excited and looking forward to so much fun. I will be leaving reviews for the respective locations along the way.

Any pointers and recommendations will be much appreciated.

I have heard that Mexico has good bus connections inside Mexico. Comfortable buses with air condition and you can start your journey from Tijuana bus stations. (you need google timetables). In addition, Mexico is planning a high speed train and for tourists have already started work on a "Maya train" in the Yucatan peninsula connecting Cancun with these old Yucatan pyramids.

What brands are sold in packs of 12?

Farmacias on Revo sell the Figral box of 10 x 100 MG for 320 pesos; farmacia Piri sells the same box for 120 peso or 60 cents a pill.

Figral is a well-known and reputable brand for generic Sildenafil in Mexico.

Looks like you live in Tijuana. Would be helpful to know more good deals near La Zona, good eats, good bars ect.

Every time I am in Tijuana in the day time I would try to get down to Calle 4 to buy the big clams. They are fresh, delicious and cheap, like $5 for a dozen, about 5 Lbs. Socal Supermarkets sell hem for $8 a pound but not as fresh.

For raw oyster on the shell, the Mariscos Paisano guy at School Girl corner has the freshest, about 50 cents a piece. His shrimp coctele is fresh, crunchy, delicious. At his location you don't have to put up with the dead-fish stench like at other mariscos stands in the crotches of rotten HK putas hehe. You can watch the school girls in front of hotel Rapido and Michoacan, some are young, hot, sweet and sexy in bed.

Mariscos El Choforo on Constitucion in the Cathedral Plaza has some very good seafood combos, delicious and cheap. I usually stop at the tienda across the street and buy a few beers to drink with their food.

A few hole-in-the-wall restaurants on Constitucion serve the Caldo de Rez, a delicious soup of beef ribs with vegetables for 40 pesos. That soup is delicious comfort food but they only serve it in the morning. Lunch and after they serve only chicken soup. Where else can I find caldo de rez near la Zona?

Besides tacos, any other tasty Mexican dishes that gringos should try?

Somebody should try to fill Anthony Buordain's job as the purveyor of fine food and hot pussies in La Zona.

I went to Washington Dental years ago and they are awful. I got a root canal and it was still bothering me a few months later I ended up have the tooth extracted. I recommend Clinik Tijuana. They are much more professional.

Washington dental do they provide good dental care? Have you used them? I'm looking to get work done. I know got some cavities and other stuff. Wonder how much they charge and would recommend?

Farmacia Guadalajara has locations in most cities in Mexico, Like CVS in the US. I've bought and used their Generic 100 MG Sidenafil many times. Today their website lists it at $129 pesos for 12 doses. They cycle their best pricing between different quantities so always check their promotions. It's also usually listed in their flyers.

I went down today. HK is closed, they say there were some girls up in the hotel, but the guy told me a bucket of beers were like $90 or some shit. I just laughed and kept walking. Lots of street girls out, but I didn't partake.

Washington Dental towards the bottom of revolution is great.

The west, new crossing is closed until December maybe, so you have to cross at the old crossing. I actually came back out at 4 pm or so, and there was no line until inside the US building.

Costco in the states had no membership requirement, for the pharmacy, at least t by e last time I went, which was several years ago. Viagra used to be a lot cheaper at Costco than cvs. Last month I walked into a pharmacy one street behind ceasars and the generic viagra pills were about the same as the cheapest sildelafil in the states, milligram for milligram at least..

Same thing for alcohol, many states prohibit the use of memberships to purchase alcoholic beverages. So you can walk into a Costco without a membership if you state you are buying purely alcohol. But you cannot purchase any other products at the register without a membership card.

Your story that a Tijuana farmacia sells generic Viagra at the same price as a USA Pharmacy, well that is another one of your patented lies. Generic V sell for around $1 usd in Tijuana, or less. A couple months back I bought a box of 40 at Costco for around $30 usd. Costco.com (USA) sells generic V for $2.88 a pill for $100 MG. Costco Tijuana I bought for $.75. Name brand Viagra Costco USA sells for $798.97 for 10 100 MG pills, Costco Mexico sells same box $1699 mx (shipping included) which is about $80 usd. Viagra, real and generic, costs much, much more in USA than Mexico, not the same.

Hey not sure if this is the right spot to post but me and some friends are getting an Airbnb this weekend near Tijuana beach. Just wondering if the area is safe to stay? Side note I have lived in many different parts of Mexico so I know as long as you keep your head down and don't look for trouble things are pretty smooth.

If you drive back and forth to centro during the weekend evenings you might encounter sobriety checkpoints on the way back. At least they were doing this awhile ago.

I've stayed in AirBnBs in Playas many times. It's fine as long as you don't go looking for trouble. The area where most of the AirBnBs are located is a fairly quiet residential area. There isn't a whole lot to do there, but the restaurants by the malecon are pretty decent.

I tried updating & reinstalling my Uber and did not help. Ended up taking taxi for $3. I was noticing that the Uber app kept showing there was only 6 drivers available. The taxi driver told me there is not many Uber drivers because of Covid.

I have noticed that is harder to find a Uber driver in Tijuana for the past month or so. ? When I have used the app it has said no drivers available about 3 times. Not sure what is happening. ?

Costco Global Membership costs only 500 pesos or $25, good anywhere in the world.

I bought the card with another bros, so only $12.50 each. We checked prices of wines, liquors, beers. They were about the same prices in US, converted to pesos. Did not find any good deal and did not check on other food items.

It's not worth the hassle shopping in Tijuana unless you were going to save couple hundred dollars. I got the card so I can buy pizza in the US. Bought it 6 months ago but have not used it once.

Don't know about returning goods in the US. Product packaging must be in Spanish. How are they going to resell them in US?

No I have not, headed back there in a couple of weeks. Been contemplating keeping my mask on during all the club visits even during services.

As a guy who will not take off his mask during any session as long as this pandemic is still active I encourage you to do the same. I love besos and SOT but when I think about the most important thing it really is fucking. In my normal life I was around multiple people that tested positive for the virus. I was wearing my mask and nothing happened to me. I will put a link that helps explain why I came out unscathed. Now everything that I went through happened before the article came out. In any case the one time I went upstairs at AB I wasn't scared cause I knew beforehand that I was actually exposed to people who tested positive. Still I wouldn't risk it and what for if I've never liked drinking to begin with. It isn't that hard to keep it on. Just don't go a hundred. I've actually felt worse without a mask. But could be cause I went all out. One of the many downsides I've noticed is I'm getting dropped by pussy shots that wouldn't do it pre covid. And a surprising thing is my recovery time has improved during these times. My confidence is not where it needs to be but is because you never know. But I'll die on this hill.

Safe? No its not safe at all. I read the Tijuana news daily there's always crime in playas. Not theft crime I'm talking deadly crime. Its still safer than most parts of Tijuana. And if you don't go to bars or restaurants or walk at night or have a car its unlikely anything will happen beyond a cop trying to empty your wallet. Lets put it this way, its much safer than zona norte, probably as safe as Baltimore bad areas, and much more dangerous than San Diego beach communities such as ocean beach and pacific Beach. Probably almost a 100 times more dangerous if your a gringo at least.

USA Costco accept most? Mex purchase return in USA.

Correct, though to my understanding, you can't use the Costco Mexico membership on the Costco US website. So basically you can't order for delivery / pickup online from the domestic Costco website using the Mexican membership. I did by a Mexican membership from the Costco in Zona Rio a couple months ago and it's been useful for me since I live within short walking distance of a Costco.
