Since between now & the end of the year I can only visit on weekends taking a deeper look into other options than HK & Tropical expensive rooms. The La Cueva hotel is much cheaper & it seems drinks are cheaper too.

The club has an attached hotel available for overnights & also an attached restaurant. Seems to be owned by HK group. Restaurant menu is close to same options & prices.

Here is my assessment of La Cueva Del Peludo:

I have been there several times. It completely reminds me of the old Las Chavelas next to Hong Kong. All of the times that I went, I was the only gringo in the place, so mostly locals frequent the joint. It has a couple of strip poles and they play mostly banda and norteno music. When you enter the joint, you will notice that there are like 10 guys to 1 girl but you don't see a lot of the guys hit on the girls. Most of the working girls are in the 5-7 range in terms of looks but I have always noticed a handful of pretty attractive girls to be found each time. #1 - In my opinion not worth it to pay for more than a single but I'm cheap (prefer the word frugal LOL) and low-maintenance. But if you've never checked out the larger rooms before and want to see if it's worth it, maybe go for it just to see how different your experience is. Rooms are 70% off Mondays and Tuesdays, and 20% off all other days with the VIP card.

#2 - Other than OXXO there's the Soriana Supermarket on Revolucion maybe 500 feet or so from the huge Arc that will have everything you listed. Licores Cactus is a liquor store I go to about a third of a mile down Revolucion (but a block or so off the main drag) that I like to go to for liquor and liquor accessories, though not sure off the top of my head if they sell all the products you listed.

#3 - Stopped using cabs in Tijuana a long while back unless absolutely necessary. Ubers, shared taxis, or walking for me. Uber or Didi (Uber-like app used very frequently in Tijuana) will always be cheaper than a cab.

As far as breakfast, the Senda Norte across the street from HK (next to Tropical) might be worth checking out there. Never had breakfast there but did have a late night dinner which was fairly good. A chica who I've known for a long time recommended me Mantequilla and Sabor A Mi as breakfast spots in Tijuana to check out. Went to Sabor A Mi and thought it was pretty good, though personally didn't think it was anything special or anything like that. Both are popular spots though.
