Even in SoCal a few mongers have complained they have no money for rent or food, could not afford even hamburgers, and are indignant that some of us still have money to spend on girls.

I was in the Zona Monday night until 5 am Tuesday morning. The hotels were up and running as usual so the raids must have taken place on Tuesday, not Monday. First stop was AB and honestly I don't remember a thing about it. Next was TB and there weren't very many chicas. Maybe 25. Nothing above a 6. Same thing with CC except that there were slightly more girls, maybe 35. The blue haired one wasn't there. She looks decent from far away but she has aged badly for being so young. Got bored real quick so went to the main event at Cascadas. As expected, it was much more lively than the other hotels. My wingman took a liking to a flaquita sitting at a table in the hallway. But her friend was so fucking ugly I refused to sit at their table because the only available seat was next to the ugly puta. So I stood behind their bench for a half hour, chatting and translating for my wingman. Eventually, my wingman tired of his flaquita and declined to buy an additional ficha. She started to give him an attitude so I went and hunted for a young, curly-haired flaquita who had previously smiled at me. She was tatted like Dennis Rodman but she was still hot. Forgot or didn't pay attention to her name, said she was from Hermosillo. Anyhow, I brought her to the table while the other chica was still there, mainly to spite her for giving my friend an attitude. So I buy her a ficha on behalf of my wingman, and we are both showering her with attention. The original puta and her ugly friend were staring us down with contempt. After about 10 minutes they both left in disgust. Kinda funny. We ended up buying the tatted chica about 3-4 fichas. Once when the mesero came around to deliver two beers for myself and my wingman, the chica paid for the round. I thought that was cool as hell, but she ended up being kinda all-business. After the 3rd or 4th ficha she asked if I wanted to go up and I told her I don't go up. Then she left somewhat abruptly saying she needed to go work.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Thursday, I got a text from a Rizo chica saying she is working and that I could come see her at the hotel. So I'm sure many of the girls are still offering services. They basically have no other choice.

I went to Tijuana yesterday evening and beside usual street girls nothing was ongoing. Clubs are closed, so are the hotels attached to them.

Like the notorious cascadas; no 7th floor anymore. Closed by municipal ordinance.

I was told that many girls moved back to their hometown because they can not afford the higher rents in Tijuana anymore.

As another monger wrote they should come up with an outdoor solution or make some streets "walkers only" and the bars on the sidewalks.

I had a great week in Tijuana just got home this morning. The clubs closed my last night but the hotels are still open and some girls are going to go home others are looking for other work. I think if you have contacts now is a great time to go. I'll work on more detailed reports but 6 days: 5 street girls, 3 agency girls, 7 girls from hk and one from tropical. Only the major hotels with clandestine chubs were raided and shutdown: Cascada, Rizzo, Coahuila, jalos. Ibiza did not party and was not raided, still open for business as of Wed, Garcia had the front door sealed, but the side door was open.

The alley was not closed, had a lot of girls on Wed but very few guys. Street girls said they were never raided and have been working as usual.

The news said the demonstration targets and wants to meet BCN's governor, but his office is in Mexicali. So where will they demonstrate?

Arrived in La Zona 4 PM. There were probably 80 -100 street girls in the alley and surrounding streets.

Hotels Cascada, Rizzo de Oro, Coahuila, Jalos were shut down by authorities with suspension seals on doors. That means no more clandestine parties. Ibiza, Garcia and the small ST hotels are open. Suspended hotels would pay fines, make a few big promises, then they would likely reopen in 2 weeks.

The bros heading for Cascada should get rooms in Ibiza, owned by and has the same quality as Cascada.

The press reported there will be a demonstration by bar, hotel, food and sex workers this Sat to ask Baja Cal Norte governor for permission to reopen businesses. I predict compromises will be made for businesses to reopen with restrictions to prevent the spread of virus.

There were paraditas earlier today but half of what you'd normally expect to see. The hotels had employees posted outside entrances but I didn't attempt to enter any and now realize it would have been pointless, as the makeshift bars were closed down which I didn't know when I took a spin around the Zona at noon today.

I went back today a little after 5 and there were lots of chicas. People got to eat as there were lots of new faces. You have to make tough choices as a single mom with kids to feed, especially in Mexico where there are no $1,200 checks from the government.

Seems odd they put a pic of HK at the top of the article, but make no mention of the ZN bars, just those in Rio and Otay and Centro. Maybe they consider the ZN part of Centro? Still, they have quotes from owners in Plaza Zapatos, and none from the management of HK or Adelita. LOL.

We all know how well protests in Mexico work. I think the bars screwed up big time by using the flagrant "speakeasy" formats. Everybody and their dog knew about them, I figured it was just a matter of time before they got shut down again.

Missed it too much while I was gone so I decided I'm coming back for seconds. It's a little scary knowing that someone just got Covid from HK which probably means it's like many people there have it but my trips been booked so I hope I can be lucky!
