I will be in Tijuana for my first visit in mid November and would arrive from Cabo San Lucas airport. After staying for a day or two I plan to journey to Coronado Island to spend a day as my flight is not until later in the evening. Any recommendations to travel there from Tijuana. I understand there is a ferry on the mainland to the island but don't know the best connections to get over there.

Can you please provide detailed steps on how you did this and time for each phase?

I also go from SD airport to border via trolley and the total takes me much more time. At least 100 minutes.

Example: Airport to Trolley (via public transit): 20 min.

Trolley to Border incl wait time - 70 min.

Walk through border and catch taxi / HK-limo- 10 minutes.

Ride to hotel - 10 minutes.

TOTAL: 110 minutes.

Thought I would give a few cents. I flew in San Diego Intl at 2:35 pm. Took the trolly to San Ysidro and was at my hotel by 4:00. .

Nah, the "HK" on his shirt stands for "Hard Knocks". Hard Knocks a documentary of NFL preseason training camp that's produced and aired every year by HBO. Every year, the NFL selects a team and basically forces them to be on the show as most teams don't actually want to do the show (due to it being a distraction with cameras following players and staff around every day and other issues).

Several Jets players, including Aaron Rodgers, have made it clear they don't want to do the show but are kind of being forced to do it over the course of the next month anyway. So the head coach wearing the "I love HK" shirt was I guess meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

I get tricked as well sometimes when I saw the HK billboards when driving on some of the freeways in San Diego. It took me a minute to realize that it was for the restaurant in Harrahs.

Actually it's surprising how many comics and tv personalities I have heard talk about HK and the Zona in general. Seems like everyone knows about it these days and like being a porn star it's not stigmatized in society like before.

I went to La Corriente with a friend. But was not impressed. LOS Arcos is one of the best seafood and restaurants in Tijuana. The food is & ambience is great and the prices are reasonable as well.

Grand is chica friendly. Maybe Lucerna?

Most serious coffee is Container on Revo, and I intend to try out Malvia:

IMO the best seafood in Tijuana is at La Corriente. There's one downtown, the original, and there are a handful of others that are even nicer inside. The red snapper tostada is the absolute must have, and everything there is more delicious than the other seafood places in town, like Lion Fish.

My research indicates that huachinango, or red snapper, comes from Baja California Sur.

Millions of untreated waste spews into the ocean at several points up and down the coast, and has for years. It's a major problem the EPA and San Diego have been trying to resolve to no avail. For years I see fishing boats trawling in these waters every day. Because of these conditions I never do seafood in Baja. In spite of being labeled as coming from somewhere else, you simply can't be sure the seafood isn't sourced locally and therefore poison.

Last minute decision to head over. Making a pit stop in Vegas then over to Tijuana. I have been going for years and love it, but lately I have noticed the need for some change of scenery and sadly more recovery time LOL. I am at the point now that any grimy hotel and street tacos just to be 24/7 by HK is not the ideal set up anymore. Don't get me wrong. Still a fun time and will do this, but not the entire trip.

This being a working trip as well, I do need somewhat of a decent hotel where I can do some work during the day as well as be around a nice area I can pop in a coffee shop if needed or desired.

So, I want to make this trip a bit different than the standard Revo, ticuan / Pueblo Amigo and bars only trip. I want to expand and try new things and new places.

I am fluent in spanish (I would say 8. 5/10) so that helps I think and feel I am missing out.

So I want to:

1. stay at a new hotel. Nice but girl friendly. Any suggestions in the Zona Rio area perhaps? Or even Centro, just not Ticuan or PA. I was thinking City Express or Grand Hotel? Anyone know if they are girl friendly? I also like the hotels without a lobby to check in (kind of like Villa De Zaragoza) where girls can go straight to your room. No BS.

2. check out great restaurants. Seafood would be great without having to go to playas or Puerto Nuevo.

3. see some escorts / SA girls. I got this. Just need #1 to be a place that allows this.

4. get a nice legit massage. Revo has some spots but I think there has to be better out there, also would love some spa services (Shave, haircut).

5. get some work done in a nice comfortable area. Nice Hotel helps but want to switch it up. Coffee shop etc.

6. Non ZN clubs. I am checking out Deja Vu, Amnesia, Cueva del Peludo. I know the reviews aren't the best and nothing tops HK, but I am curious and it's part of the expanding.

Also noticed that there is a Xolos game this weekend so plan to try and check that out.

If anyone has any suggestions on any of these it would be greatly appreciated!

I'll be back in Tijuana for a couple nights, likely on 7/20 & 7/21. I'm going to spend a few hours in the bars whatever nights I'm there. One night, I hope to buy a bottle of Don Julio and just relax. Might not even go arriba. Just want to have a nice, chill night and relax. If anyone wants to help me avoid ingesting the entire bottle myself, PM me. Not sure if I'll spend more time at HK or Tropical. I'm going to try to avoid some regulars but each of those bars have several regulars. LOL. But I'm thinking Tropical might be a better low key option.

Asked my friend at Goodgirls to send me someone at 5:00 and got a couple of tacos while I waited. Sry I can't remember the girl's name but one of the younger ones. Session was good. I was surprised by what she asked for a tip at the end but we figured it out and she went on her way.

HK was not overly crowded but I only went during the day. Met Cp Solo and friends Monday afternoon. Thank you Obi for the beer! Thanks to both of you for trying to help me with my phone issues!

Ran into an old friend SW. I have had sessions with her since before the pandemic. She was very excited to see me and said I had walked past her several times and made her sad. I had not seen her. Our session was great as always and I gave her 600 pesos.

Chicago was not really exciting during the days.

Since I have GE exiting Mexico was without any wait and I was back at the airport 3 hours early for my flight.

Was it worth going over the 4th? Hell yea. Not too crowded and plenty of fun to be had.

Actually you can register and login without having to pay. When popup for choose subscription appears click on the background & choose San Ysidro. It will then take you to a page to select what lane you want to view. Your option is view site from a browser. If you are using a smart phone go to browser menu when the site loads and then choose desktop. Then choose what lane and what camera you want to see.

I prefer light or lighter skinned girls. But thanks for the info.

Skin tight yoga pants and sort of like a sports bra she was popping out of with a short jacket over it. Several tattoos. Just pass by Ibiza and take a look, she will stand out. This good news. I have been waiting for some new hot SG's / SW's to show up. Did she have light skin. ? Please give description & PM me contact info. I am fairly surprised since the street action has been lame for quite some time now. The CBP border site is very unreliable. I prefer bordertraffic dot com site. The video cams are free. This gives me a good idea long the lines are before heading to Tijuana. I never drive to Tijuana unless I have a need to take my car. It is far easier & faster to walk. I normally walk to the Zona if it is still light. Afterwards I catch the Taxi Vans back. The taxi vans are only $1. Just catch wihite purple striped van by 2nd & Constitucion. If you head back after 9 there typically little to no people waiting. You also do not having to worry about cop stopping you.
