There are refugees from Labanon who are not Muslim and are Catholicos Christian Orthodox Armenians. I bet this is who is down there. The Armenians in Hollywood obviously are USA citicens.

Maybe a dumb question, but I'm seeing a combination of people talking about pesos and usd. Is it beneficial at all to exchange currency into MXN? Seems the main 4 bars and hotels all accept USD and its harder for me to divide every MXN by 17 to figure out the USD equivalent.

If you're sticking to the ZN bars and not getting any street girls, the added brainpower isn't worth it to exchange to pesos.

Only requirement is if not a Hongkong Club or Tropical Club bar girl then she has to produce identification.

If HK or Tropical bar girl, then you may be subject to a hidden fee of buying beer and paying extra time to hotel after the initial half hour agreed session.

Armenians from Armenia have no real reason for political asylum in the USA. Perhaps the migrants are: Syrians from Syria, Kurds from Iraq or Palestinians, they have a greater reason for political asylum in the US. But they may not get asylum in the US because they should ask for political asylum in Mexico first according to the rules.

They are the main negative of Ticuan, I watch them at the buffet and they take crazy amounts of food, hogging every public part of the hotel and always with bad attitudes in the elevator. 4-5 in every room. Ticuan won't let me have two chicas in a jacuzzi room but I see them bring extra (small cots) into their rooms.

Today I was buying socks on constitution and two 4'7" fat Armenian brothers were blocking me and all customers from paying as they yelled "give me dollar" to all the cashiers. Not just arguing with one employee about the stores return policy, but blocking the other cashier from working and helping the other customers.

Small dick foreigners ruining it for the average gringo monger. I told the 2nd brother if he wanted to block me from paying the result would be his family never seeing America. We both might go to jail but I won't be the one blocked from crossing the border. Lucky for us both a 3rd cashier opened up as they could only block two.

Even my east Hollywood Armenian friends know that their people are the worst mannered I'm the world. Fat big nosed wives and horrible tempered short fat men.

I'm not Armenian but I wonder how you know that in Hotel Ticuan all of them are Armenian? Especially two brothers in the shop? Do you have this information from the hotel reception or do you recognize the Armenian language? Can you distinguish between the inhabitants and languages of this part of the world: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, Georgia, Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt? I can't, only if I see their passport. BTW Kim Kardashian looks good and she is of Armenian descent.

I lived next to "little Armenia" for 7 years so I'm a little familiar and had many bad experiences. Everyone I've asked at Ticuan has responded that they are Armenian or Russian.

LOL, I don't know man. You're basically saying you know 8 people who've gotten drugged and robbed at least one other person who was robbed and killed down there but at the same time saying "hey, don't worry about all of that. Go down now it's worth it!

Especially if you are a native American who doesn't know any (or speaks very little) Spanish, my opinion is that Tijuana will generally always be the superior option. A good percentage of chicas, meseros, club / hotel staff, etc. In Tijuana speak passable enough English that the "language barrier" isn't too much of an issue there. Would imagine it's much, much more of an issue in South America. There's also a comfort in knowing that the USA Is literally within walking distance / few minutes Uber ride if things get uncomfortable in Tijuana for whatever reason. You're much more isolated in South America in this regard. Not to mention the USA Dollar is universally accepted nearly everywhere in Tijuana, unlike most places in Colombia / Brazil. This all just speaks to most probably having a much higher comfort level in Tijuana, which is much more USA -friendly than South America for the reasons I've mentioned (as well as several other reasons).

Colombia is a shit hole. Read the Colombian threads, guys or their friends are getting drugged or robbed all the time. This is just not that common in Mexico, unless you are actively seeking drugs.

Yea but those are 8 people over 7 years for going to Colombia. If that heps. LOL.

About the US dollar in Colombia I just use the ATMs to pull pesos out. I never bring dollars to Colombia because the rate is about the same between ATM and exchange facilities but in Brazil I bring dollars to exchange because it makes a difference.

On scale of 1 to 10 Mi espanol is like a 5 but my listening is a 7. So I'm not fluent as you can see. If you speak no spanish now. Trust me that place will force you to learn some quickly LOL which is a good thing in my opinion.

I've been to many countries around the world and language barriers have never kept me from going to places like Qatar, Kuwait, ect.

I have been to Tijuana three times so far and I only went last week because it was a closer flight.

Another reason is the women are in general better the further you get from America.

Get out of your comfort zone and do not let fear stop you. Your missing out on a lot.

When you go.

1. Attention to detail (closer attention to the women but to all of your surroundings. Motos included especially when your walking at night by yourself).

2. listen to your gut feeling while there.

3. Be positive.

4. Relax and have fun.

It's worth it man trust me. Cold approach and facebook will be your friend over there (well at least in Medellin and Cartagena for me).

I stay away from Tinder but it's up to you if you want to use that.

As for as street girls. Be alert! The casas are safe but that is not my thing.

What's so crazy is that he was the only one that said something. The others did not care (I've done it before). And he's area of responsibility was the restaurant not the buffet in the ball room. But whatever. I've been over it.

Do not be afraid of Colombia man trust me it's worth it!. Just use common sense when out there but the women are soooooo much nicer and genuine in Brazil.

P.S. All the scolopamine stories are true and it's a lot more than what's being told or reported but hasn't happened to me (knock on wood). I know 8 men personally who have gotten scoped and robbed and the guy that got killed (robbery) from Atlanta I knew him as well and a few others who are no longer here. It can differently get dangerous very quickly in Colombia.

Attention to detail will keep you safe most of the time.
