Crossed through PedWest fairly late on a Wednesday (closes 10 pm, so maybe 9:30), waved through by the lone guard, no forms. Walked across the bridge to the Arch. Had intended to stay at Chicago's hotel (Jalos) on the basis I'd found a real keeper there last time (June), but 1) She wasn't in evidence in the bar and 2) they didn't have AC in the rooms. Now on the other hand you will find those chicas that will quote $20 USD for basic serice which is about 368 MX pesos and charge even more for upgrades. Some have reported to pay $40 USD for street walkers which is about 736 MX pesos. One street walker is asking for $100 USD minimum. Being proficient in negotiations is a good tool to have. Never go with the first price that is given to you. Always counter with a lower offer. Keep the market prices stable.

Yes, they are high, I was doing the estimations conservatively. Hmm I suppose I need that negotiation tool but for what is it, the price is fine with me but you're right it does drive up the price for the chicas. I'll need to practice haha.

From my first experience in Guadalajara, I swore off clubs in any places other than Tijuana (though I did go to Las Violettas in Aguascalientes) since a HK girl will cost you about 3000 pesos for 30 minutes. Though I did go to an upscale one the'Klub and I was warned it would be expensive. However the issue was not the girl, the ficha was overpriced. For that one night I paid about 7000 pesos. Lesson learned. Apparently places like that are illegal in those cities so that drives up cost. I have read that there are cheaper ones but there's no place like Tijuana for that.

For SWs even from the forum in Guadalajara, members do not recommend that either since it's a hit or miss. I saw a chica by the expo area once and it turned out to be a dude so no thanks.

Forgot to mention Mexico City, which is the largest metropolis in the Americas and it's a melting pot. You got places like La Merced "La Meche", Tlalpan, La Condensa where they are streets full of SWs and the escort scene is crazy. Welcome to the Tijuana site. You made a very wise choice.

Lots of guys would cruise the tracks in SOCAL for street girls, risking busts and stings by local PDs, which can be a huge inconvenience, embarrassment and expensive.

How long does the bus take to get to Playas? That would be an interesting ride with the locals.

I don't know exactly. I've taken it 3 or 4 times for beach visits, but never timed it.

I imagine it would not take much more time than a taxi because it makes few stops between downtown and the beach. Most of its stops are in the Playas area.
