I do believe on the north side of the parking lot you will find the world famous Hotel Tapatio. Some may ask world famous? This hotel did have its 15 minutes of fame when it was all over the world news with reports of fugitive Christopher Dorner being sighted there. I did spend one night there and it was certainly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

And I also have walked that block many times, and there are no street girls just a bunch of blankets spread out with people selling everything from tools to shoes, with a lot of old cell phone chargers mixed in.

These days I use Hotel CECI.

Heard about those apartments but never wound up there. You must have been with a total tramp if she lived there!
I've only been using Hotel Campamento in the last eight months, guess I've been lucky. I too have noticed that groups of two or three cops like to hang out for stretches of time on the SW corner of Revo and Coahuila, but they don't seem to be up to no good, like searching mongers. They just act like slackers talking among themselves.

As far as the El Burro Apartments, I remember being told a decade ago that it was managed more like an apartment building renting cold-water-only SRO rooms for something like $100 to $120 a month, mostly renting to working girls. Back then I was under the impression that they didn't rent S / T rooms.

Last year I went down a few times with the on 'Amigo Express' runs. We arrive in Tijuana around noon and leave at 7 PM. Since I bring a lot of crap with me, just doing S / T rooms and sitting I the bars with all my crap was not ganna work. So I was looking for the cheapest places to rent overnight. But yet staying in the hotel room only seven hours, I could accept accommodations that were even below my very low standards. Since I didn't plan to sleep overnight, I looked for the cheapest places, specifically seeking out SG hotels that charged no joiner fees. The first one that met these new requirements was Hotel San Jose at 150 pesos with no joiner fees. Hotel San Jose worked well for my needs on these Amigo Express runs. On one trip with the I go to the Hotel San Juan to check in, and this is what happened from the first half of my AlleyScat #67 trip report:

"I rode down to Tijuana Wednesday afternoon in the "amigo express" with monger buddies the and HugoTheMan. Because we were only going to be present in LZ for just seven hours, I planned to take an overnight room at Hotel San Jose located on Nino Heroes. It is a shithole of a place, but it only costs 150 p for a room and they do not charge (extra chica) joiner fees.

I approached the hotel and spoke to the San Jose Hotel's concierge clerk Ezezio. He told me that they don't rent their rooms.

To overnight guests. I told him that I did that just two months ago for 150 p, but he insisted they don't rent out their rooms in that fashion. He then said "The owner of this hotel also owns another hotel just around the corner (as he pointed towards the alley).

And they rent out rooms overnight. Let me take you there right now. " We left, seemingly leaving the San Jose Hotel unguarded.

As we were walking on the alley's south sidewalk I said to Ezezio that the reason I wanted a room at the San Jose was because they didn't charge any joiner / extra chica fees to their hotel guests. Ezezio said that the hotel he was bringing me too also did not charge any per-chica fees. Ezezio walked me up the stairs of the El Burro Apartments, which are located across the alley from the Hotel Mini.

At the top of the EBA stairway is their room #4, which serves as the oficina. I've seen the large overhead sign for the El Burro Apartments during every one of the tens years I've been mongering in Tijuana and I never knew they rented their rooms like hotel rooms.

I remember being told many years ago that they had crappy, cold-water-only rooms that rented very cheaply by the month, like for maybe $100 US per month. Well. This hotel was like a ghost town with no activity. No one seemingly coming or going. In Spanish Ezezio explained to the older lady running the place from room #4 that I was seeking an overnight room. She asked for 150 p, which I immediately gave her. I was assigned room #5, which was the absolutely worst room I have ever seen in LZ. Believe me, that's saying a lot! Hopefully I was able to upload the pictures of my room. The bed sheet was either stolen or retired from Cascades.

I asked for a key to my room, but the oficina lady said that she only had one key to my room, and that she was keeping it. I was told by Ezezio that she would unlock my room every time I wanted to enter it. A small section of the room's window to the hall was not covered. Without a curtain rod, I could not place a sheet or a towel up against the window to block someone's view into my room.

    Oh well!

Elizabeth was my first cita chica and I knew she would be freaked out by the uncovered potion of the room's window. So as we waited outside my room for the lady to unlock it, I pointed this feature out to Elizabeth. It appeared that from the hallway a person could not look into room #5, but that was because the light in the room was off. So Elizabeth had no problema. Later in the day I would discover that if I left the room light on when I left the hotel, this lady was going into my room to turn the damn light off. I also later discovered that if the room's single light was on. An observer from the hallway could see everything that was going on in my room!

After lunch with my quasi wingman at Rio Cielo, the next chica I brought up to my room was Norma. As we waited for the room to be unlocked, the lady informed us that I had to pay a joiner fee since Norma was my second chica. I disagreed and said that Ezezio told me there were no extra chica fees here. The lady disagreed with me and had Norma tell me that I had to pay it. Then an older gentleman popped out of room #2 and backed up the oficina.

Lady in telling us that this hotel assessed joiner fees. But I tried to hold my ground with all three people before me obviously losing patience with me and my cheap ass ways.

In a moment of weakness I asked how much was the extra chica fee. I figured if it was some tiny, token fee, like the Eduardo's tiny 30 p joiner fee, I would just pay it and consider the El Burro Apartments as a one-done horrible experience that thankfully was limited to just seven short hours. But when the lady said that their joiner fee was 50 pesos. I grew a backbone. I shook my head forcefully NO NO NO.

As the gentleman retreated back into room #2. The lady pulled out her key, unlocked my door, and held her hand out for a 50 p payment instead of paying this *****, I reached for the doorknob and gently closed the door to my room and took two step towards the stairs saying once again that we all need to talk again with Ezezio. The woman immediately backed down and motioned me back to my room, saying I did not have to pay the fee today. She unlocked my door again and motioned to both Norma and I to go into the room while saying "pasalay". Once in the room, Norma gave me a big thumbs up, than gave herself to me for 150 p plus two regalos.

After the cita I left my room a minute or two after Norma left. The old lady peeked her head out from room #4's cracked open door. I looked at this old lady and handed her a 10 pesos coin. She gave me back a small nod and a big smile. At this point I knew that we were going to become good friends during the remaining four hours of my stay at her establishment. I got that same warm smile from her when I gave her two 5 pesos coins after completing my cita with Melissa. She was just beaming when I handed her a $1 bill after dick down Renata in my newest slimehole room."

    In Tijuana now

Good day mongers! I find myself back in Tijuana and wanted to post a very brief report. I'm doing this on my smartphone because the internet cafe I was just at blocks the ISG! So forgive any typos.

The street girl scene is what I'm primarily into, and with the current 15-1 exchange rate it's a good deal. I went up with a girl named jimena, she is skinny and stands near adelitas, not sure which hotel. Service was pretty good toda sin ropa was 300 pesos. This girl has no kids and when she took off her clothes she looked great. She also has a tight pussy which I find is rare for street girls. She was good enough to where I may go up with her again tomorrow. But there are some other nice ones out there now, overall the selection is good.

I did go to Hong Kong and as others have mentioned on another site, the girls now do not remove their bottoms. Not sure why, but I ended up just pushing their bottoms to the side and fingering them anyway. They didn't mind. Also bought a couple fichas which is something I never do and got some very high mileage / intimate ummm. Experiences. Each ficha was 104 pesos, so I'm not doing that anymore, but it was fun to mix it up and molest a dancer LOL.

Stopped at LCDH to smoke a Cuban, wish this place was closer to the zona, it would be great to rest there between sessions. The staff seems a little unfriendly though, not sure what's up with that.

Wanted to get a massage but vivamex is closed for some reason. Walked past Namaste massage on revolution, but it looked too much like a massage envy or one of those chains. Looked like a place my mom would go to LOL. Any massage recommendations from board members. Legit or with extras, as long as the massage is good.

I'll be here tomorrow too so anyone that wants to hang out shoot me a PM.

I like Hotel Campamentos for S / T sessions. The rooms are fairly clean with complete bathrooms, hot water and porn channels on the televisions.

And at 60 pesos for 60 minutes it is a pretty good deal.

I've been in rooms at the Rivas, Hotel San Jose, The Eduardo, Cuartos Teresa, and over 20 other LZ hotels. I've never been inside of Hotel Pepe, but I've seen pictures of some of their rooms. My vote for the grossest hotel room in La Zona goes to the cold-water-only El Burro Apartments on the alley above El Burro Bar. You would never know it by looking at the entry stairway, and their second story hallway, which are clean and appear to be maintained. Their balcony looking over the alley always has some well maintained potted plants. But my goodness, the room I was once inside of had the sickest looking bathroom with a sink cabinet that was half deteriorated and a shower in serious disrepair. Their bed sheets were stolen from another LZ hotel!

Here are some pictures from inside the El Burro Apartments. I think my room was #5 (first room on the left after ascending the stairs).

And again, I've never seen any street girls standing on the block of Nino Heroes between Baja California & Coahuila.

Almost directly across the street from Pepe's parking lot on Nino Heroes is Dulce Gabanna (D&G).

Pepes is a world class dump. Probably one of the grossest hotels next to The Rivas and San Jose (which I use) but it has porno on the TV's. Hell even Cuartos Teresas is cleaner than that place. It also isn't a safe hotel for newbies to take girls. There is both a parking lot named Pepe's and a Hotel Pepe in La Zona and they are about two blocks away from each other. Artisttype simply didn't realize we were talking about the parking lot, which is owned by the same family that owns HK, BT, Rizo de Oro, LC and Cascades.

As I mentioned before, Pepe's parking lot is sort of the official parking lot for Hong Kong Bar. If you buy a HK VIP card and want to take advantage of the 'free parking' benefit offered by the VIP card, you are required to park in the Pepe's parking lot. Back when I had an active VIP card I would park at Pepe's and then take my parking lot ticket to HK's customer's relation desk. The ladies at customer service would issue me a reimbursement receipt that I could take to bartender and receive a $5 cash reimbursement. At the same time I would typically get my daily free beer ticket from customer service and tip the CS desk lady fifty cents or 5 pesos. I would present both tickets to the HK bartender and tip him 10 pesos for everything (the $5 reimbursement and free beer). Pepe's parking lot is located on Nino Heroes in the middle of the block between Coahuila and Baja California. As Clamslammer noted, Pepe's is on the east side of Nino Heroes. Another way of describing the Pepe's parking lot's location is to say it is behind Rizo de Oro or directly north of RdeO. I will include a picture of Pepe's lot taken while I was standing on the ground floor inside the North annex of Hotel Rizo de Oro.

On the other hand, Hotel Pepe is located on the north side of Coahuila Ave, pretty close to Revolution. Hotel Pepe is next door to the Hacienda de Santiago and the other picture is of Hotel Pepe.

    Yes.

It is open 24 hours a day and there is at least one attendant there on the lot at all times.

    Pepe's parking

Pepe's does have 3 or 4 guys, plus a few Hong Kong's guys, there 24 hours a day.

Pepe's is HK's beer storage warehouse and the staging area for meseros before their shift, so there are always people around.

Ninos Heroes is dark and potentially dangerous late at night. You can take free rides on HK's golf carts between Pepe's and HK / Cascada. There are usually 2 golf carts waiting at Pepe's and going back and forth.
