That station is at the corner of Madero and Art 123 but I don't think Greyhound stops there anymore.

But you will probably have to wait in the bus lane for a few hours. And the bus will let you off at the border gate and you will get out of the immigration crossing building at the greyhound pick-up: to the bus to 12th and Imperial Greyhound station. You may save some time waiting in the bus as opposed to waiting in line to cross, but the price will be (I think) much higher than a $5 taxi ride to the border and a $2. 50 trolley ride to 12th & Imperial Greyhound station.
That's not the best way unless your continuing further North on Grey Hound I. E. OC or LA.

I was reading about the border crossing times. Has anyone tried Greyhound from Tijuana to San Diego? Is the bus station area safe to go in and out of and how far from the HK is the bus station as far as cab cost.

Thanks to the veterans for all of the information. I am going to be there November 2, 4 and 5. Anyone interested in a beer or two and some hunting?

The "new" pedestrian bridge has been in existence now for more than 3 years.

I get there at 10 pm, and the guy says $20, I am like fuck that shit, I will park at the lot across the freeway. So I park over there and found out why. The new pedestrian way over totally sucks. Before, it didn't matter what side you parked on, now it does. It is a very long walk now.

If you like birria de res, this place rocks. A ton of flavorful, slow-cooked until falling apart, juicy beef. Enough that the tortilla can barely hold all of it. Crowds of locals lining up for them, no gringos in sight.

I was only able to snarf down two. I wanted another, but just couldn't eat any more. 15 pesos each. Worth every centavo.

SW corner of 4th and Ninos Heroes. Daytime for sure, not sure how late they're open, but probably not after dark.
    Hey man,

I'm a huge fan of the Birria. The best place I know is on the corner of Ninos Heroes and Calle Coahulia. Its right next to my favorite sea food stand. Here it is: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.5376168, -117.0404778,3 a,75 y,84.87 h,81.41 t / data=!3 m4!1 e1!3 m2!1 s4 SmDRRDijNMR1 KZDRSQWDw!2 e0.

This picture was from 2009 and the grey building in the back is now a restaurant. Can you post a map of the are your favorite taco place is? I'd love to check it out.

    Thanks

    SD Blue line parking station

Parking an older car at Blue line trolley station would save the $20 but not the same security level as the parking lot.

I will (and have) outed those who try to cut / try to squirm into the handicap lane / or other actions to cross without waiting like me. I'll be damned if I wait for three hours some slimy bastard is not going to get away with it. And yes the CBP will react and send the bum to the END of the line!

La Malquerida Bar vs La Valentina Shout out.

La Valentina is slow moving, La Malquerida is more unpredictable.

    Music is limited. Moving beat.

    Chica demanding drinks Privado option.

    No Privado Easy to mingal.

I have not stepped into La Valentina for some time.

There are usually 10 to 20 girls working there. The price they want to go to the room is usually 60 but with a bit of negotiating you can get to 40 or 50. In the wee hours the place gets pretty busy with off duty BG's and people who work in the near by clubs. Also a good place to drink without spending a lot, 2 beers for around $3. 50.
