If you want to see temples, Bangkok has much more to see than Chaingmai.

There was a very small dance club in Chaingmai when I was there a couple years ago. I talked to a cute older girl who was dancing. We negotiated a price for her to come back to my private room at a hostel. I thought you were in the Navy, you should be familiar with lots of places in Asia.

Thailand is exotic but nice, clean, safe with lots of interesting offers for tourists. There are so much good eats on the street. Their Pad Thai tend to be way too sweet, bad for guys with diabetes. Their TomYum is made with coconut milk, taste like soapy water and loaded with cholesterols. The street stalls marinade and grill the same fish nights after nights, at the end of the night put them away and grill them again next night; they get pretty old hehe. I like sea food very plain, like raw, grilled, fried or steam with just a little bit of seasonings so I can really enjoy the essence of the sea, not the condiments. I was sitting in a restaurant on Beach Road in Pattaya, eating a big bowl of steamed cracked crabs and shrimp in spicy fish sauce, washed down with cold beer, so unbelievably delicious and cheap.

Will take the Metro to Huai Khwang for the seafood buffet with live prawns and sea food grilled on charcoal, washed down with beers, only $10 AYCE. Then will mosey over to the soapy massage places nearby to check out talents. I like soapy massages, rubbing my body on the young girls' smooth, soft, sexy skin arouses my senses and raises my dick better than any ED pills. Also will hit the new AYCE Korean steak house off Sukhumvit on Soi 10.

Will sit on the train down to Hatyai. Lots of Islamic Thai girls down South who are shy, awkward and cute. Also lots of hot PRC girls if they had not been sent back home. I quit Pattaya years ago. I enjoyed the first several visits. But after a while, when you looked closer, you saw all the serious weirdos, child molesters, sexpats that had completely lost the plot, etc. , etc. All the hardcore sleaze got old. GG clubs are just the sharp tip of a very long spear in Thailand, and BKK is easily 50% more expensive than Pattaya, and down there the GG's are where you take your date at the end of the evening that you got somewhere else. Not go booty shopping.

$4-5 US is cheaper than a 6 oz beer at HK.

I've been all over both. I like BKK (in small doses) because it, like the song says, is a show with everything but Yul Brynner. But I got tired of the bars long ago. Chiang Mai is way more laid back and the weather is better. Except when they start burning the fields, then it's terrible. My GF has a nice house in CM. Udon Thani is a town that has come a very long way. But I like the light skinned CM girls over their Udon sisters.
