It just depends on the girl. A lot of the street in the US girls will agree to a facial and then back out of the deal. For those seriously considering a move, yes you can definitely find a place for $300. I did the research. But for $300, it's not exactly comfortable living. That price point will have you in some pretty tough neighborhoods. Generally speaking, prices decline the further you move from the border.

On the flip side, $600/ month will get you a nice place. I wouldn't call it a luxury apartment. But very comfortable. The place I almost rented was $800 and it was extremely nice. New, safe. The other thing that was nice was that the utilities were SO inexpensive. $50 would have been enough to cover all utilities.

One other thing to keep in mind. If you do it legit, it's not as simple as going and renting an apartment. The locals have to put up a property guarantee. (Think title loan on a property.) Gringos have to pay a pretty steep deposit (much more than first & last months).

300 for 2 br wow. I don't think you can find a 2 br place in Cali for less than 1500. You saving a thousand plus in 1 month possibly wow. And 600 for Health Insurance for 12 months wow. That 600 will only get you 4 or less months of Insurance in US. Dealing with international housing costs like in Tijuana while making USD is like using a cheat code to win a game faster.
