For those seriously considering a move, yes you can definitely find a place for $300. I did the research. But for $300, it's not exactly comfortable living. That price point will have you in some pretty tough neighborhoods. Generally speaking, prices decline the further you move from the border.

On the flip side, $600/ month will get you a nice place. I wouldn't call it a luxury apartment. But very comfortable. The place I almost rented was $800 and it was extremely nice. New, safe. The other thing that was nice was that the utilities were SO inexpensive. $50 would have been enough to cover all utilities.

One other thing to keep in mind. If you do it legit, it's not as simple as going and renting an apartment. The locals have to put up a property guarantee. (Think title loan on a property.) Gringos have to pay a pretty steep deposit (much more than first & last months).

That 600 will only get you 4 or less months of Insurance in US. Dealing with international housing costs like in Tijuana while making USD is like using a cheat code to win a game faster. Like the Warriors with Durant LOL. Will see if the Rockets can disable their cheat code LOL.

How do you get the HK DJs to play your song?

Don't want any in their Eye or Hair

Did some research on facials. I guess some porn makes facials seem fun but some women do not want any proof of your sexual desire for them in their eyes because it may sting their eyes or hair because of cleanup reasons and they say you can possibly infect your eye with it too. That why a lot of girls actually prefer mouth, tits etc.

Know a couple of Millenials and they cannot be bothered to get a passport or learn Spanish or visit Mexico as they work at fast food jobs and play video games in their free time.

Absolutely. However, I am already an expat in the US. But perhaps for not much longer, at least not the US.

Had an ice cream cone in the alley to hydrate. Combination of sugar and cream works well to restore energy and drive up my libido. The alley had a few new girls early in the evening. While I was wandering the alley eating the ice cream cone, spotted a tall, lanky girl in a blue dress, leaning against Playboy's wall, talking on her iphone. She looked incredibly like my favorite actress, Jennifer Connelly, with her light skin, pretty face, fiery grey eyes, pouty lips, even thick eye brows, long eye lashes and a few freckles. She's tall, about 5'7, 100 lbs with her long legs, small but natural, conical boobs, exactly what I like. She works out of Hotel Rapido across from Playboy, but agreed to go to hotel Garcia, which likely has cleaner room.

She said her name was Melissa from Puebla. She took off her dress showing her lanky frame with nice, soft light skin, small but natural conical cups with small pink nips, long sexy legs. She did have a few stretch marks on her belly, but I was totally fixated on her pretty face, fiery eyes and pouty lips, the face I am in love with. I was sucking on her nipples while fingering her clit.
I fucked her a couple of times also but the stomach baby damage and soft titties got old. Add to that she was running back and forth from inside La Gloria to where the dope slingers hang out on Coahilla. Just see what she was up to I walked into LG and saw her at a table full of guys and gals and seemed to be discreetly passing things between them. She has been MIA for two weeks now so there is no telling what happened to her. Sad.

Can Save on more than Housing. . . IMSS.

I guess if you were single, or at least without school age kids, and don't mind an hour or two at the border every morning, or can time your crossing to minimise wait times, then it could work. I'm self employed, work from home with a PC, so wouldn't need to go much. But circumstances won't permit.

Must admit I was surprised at how many Mexicans come over to the US every weekend with their B1/2 visas. Apparently many work in the US daily, though I've only met the weekenders.

I don't find Tijuana depressing, but understand the sentiment. I actually appreciate the humility of the Mexican people. (That's quite a generalization.) And there are areas of Tijuana that feel pretty comfortable. As I said I chose not to move because of quality of life. We have it pretty good in the US and I was unwilling to give up some of our luxuries. And reality is, safety is a real concern. I have no significant reservations about safety when visiting. But I just feel living there feels might be a different story.

Housing Expenses is a good Topic

The issue with US housing is that its a global market as foreigners can even own so that's also a major reason housing costs in US are superinflated. I currently live in LA but currently looking at my options to move to SD real soon.

Not sure if you live in CA. I do not. If I did, I would absolutely consider it. Housing costs, and cost of living in general in CA, are way out of whack. There are lots reasons for that (and far more controversial than I care to discuss). But I'll say that, even living in a state that is far less expensive, I seriously considered moving to Tijuana. I love the west coast and most everything about it. I work remotely so that's not an issue. Ultimately, I decided against it because of quality of life issues. But I only mention it because compared to my state, housing is only modestly less expensive in Tijuana. To be fair, I still think about it. But I mention it simply to say, there very likely is a bubble forming but much like 2008, it is regional in nature.

Yes those who are true independents and attract a few ricos that are weekly or more customers prefer being outside, spending time on WhatsApp, surfing the net, chatting with amigas, etc. Many don't want anything to do with a bunch of drunks and BLARING MUSIC they can't stand. (although some in the alley have to endure loud music even outside).

Others as you know have padrotes (pimps) who have them watched and order them to stay put except for arribas. Also why have to deal with sitting and being pawed or attempting to chit chat with gringos who can't speak Espanol when they can do wham bam thank you's in 20 min?

My own thoughts are that they do more volume and actually have more predictable income, whereas in HK or bars they make the most money on the weekend but its not guaranteed unless they hustle.

Most millenials are fucked when it comes to housing prices compared to The Baby Boom Generation who was able to get cheap housing in US. The fact that you can save thousand's on housing costs by living in TJ and working in SD should be enough incentive to consider option right?
